I bought it locally here in middle east by 550 US dollars. It is the premium version 3/32 GB. In online stores it is more than 700 dollars.

I think it works currently in South Korea only , perhaps in the coming months will be supported in most countries

Hi, i recently bought this phone and just a two weeks after i got it, i tried to update to Android Version 5.1 Lollipop (not official)
AFter the upgrade all works fine, except that i lost 200mb free RAM memory i had before (now its just 800mb of ram free and usually it was about 1gb)
The point is that this option (and maybe many more which i havent see before) dissapeared from my phone, I cant seem to find again that option Cat 6 LTE
Did anyone tried same thing and experienced same problem ?
Or if so solved it too hopefully ?
What are ur suggestions and opinions ?

It is simply LTE-A (advanced)network which supposed to be here long time ago..
Honor6 supports it long time ago..
And if you asking if your network provides LTE-A
Simply ask them

How to fully restore my phone ?
I tried already "settings►backup and restore" option, without success
becouse it goes on 95% restoring and fails with CUST_FAIL ► POST_PROCESS_FAILED
Then phone restarts and all apps are deleted, phone looks like new but still has same OS (lolipop 5.1 B308)
Is there another way that i can completely delete OS from my phone and install a fresh new one ?
In my case I would like to install a factory OS (4.4.2 KitKat B127) or any lower if possible, and after that update solo (auto)
Please reply if u have an solution

only via adb and fastboot.. using pc ..

Here in France almost every Network carriers are supporting LTE-A or LTE Cat. 6 (allows 300MB/s download and 50MB/s upload rates for instance) since 12/2014 i think
It's called "4G+" i don't if others countries use the same callsign

Where did you download it? That firmware27 page doesn't have a proper link

1.16.5 vs 1.7.14 ... No idea why you cannot flash it. I didn't try.

I asked Vivo about firmware change. They said it is not possible, if I want to have firmware from India I have to buy phone in India, phones from China can have only Chinese firmware.

there must be a way to change firmware with the global ... we just need to understand how

Well if Anyone find a way let"s share it.

With a global rom the amount of devs increases which may have the positive effect that someone finds a way...

I tried in recovery mode, there is a option to install a update.

Before changing to the global version, is it not better to wait return from some indian customer ?
Until now i'm pretty happy with the chinese version.

Me too after uninstalling some 20 Chinese bloatware via settings menu + 25 further via adb I’m completely satisfied with smoothness,stability and great battery life.
Don’t actually need global version as I don’t use google assistance and bloatware issue being resolved 100%

My main motivation for a global rom is to replace Jovi with Google Assistant; also would like to get rid of Vivo account altogether.
I would probably wait for the HK version though; Indian ROM might have some other localisation features I don't need.

I'm ordering one now

Did installing the indian rom over the Chinese rom work in recovery mode? If so, would it be possible to get a quick list of steps/directions so i can do same? I downloaded the Indian ROM but haven't yet tried to install it. Would prefer to have the global rom vs. China ROM. Thanks!

Oppo theme store

I'm in Ireland and I can see where to change themes but there isn't any there to choose from except the default one, there is no default theme store app on my phone, should there be one?

There should be a default theme app, simply called theme store.
Do you have the global rom?
Honestly I would recommend just getting a launcher as it achieves a similar purpose as the themes in the store and has additional benefits.

I don't even get the application of themes, I have to enter from the settings menu and once there it does not give the option to load any, only the source is seen

Execrly the same as me, and when you go into the application manager the theme store is there but you can't open it or anything but it is still there, only we can't access it, is it possible to flash a firmware that has it? And what is the latest firmware?, I only got this phone yesterday and there hasn't been any updates at all, usually outa the box there's always an update waiting

I imagine you will have A.18 .... if you put on a vpn application and you say that you are in the Netherlands, you update it and it will skip A.24

I am in Spain and that is the one I had, it will make me update to Android 11 and I spent a week without a mobile because Android 11 was not going well and the regression was not going well. Then they fixed the regression and I am using the A.25, but in theory it is not the global one, although it does not differ in anything, but come on, the application of themes does not work equally

Try a few different countries, Germany, India, Switzerland, UK.
Also some of the updated versions are available directly from the ColorOS website of each country.

you have to put the Android 11 beta and then retrieve it to Q with this .... and it is A.25. To recover you just have to put it in the memory and search for it with the file explorer, you touch it and it tells you if you want to install it .

Wouldn't recommend 11 beta unless you have read up on all the issues with it, and accept that it'll probably screw up your phone even more!! "Beta" says it all.

No one has recommended installing the beta. I have told you that to have the A.25 rom you have to go through the beta and then enter the new recovery file, which is the one with the latest version and with the June patch.

Think I read somewhere that you can only get Theme Store/Themes on the Chinese ROM. I know I had it turn up once on my phone when I was downloading ROMs via VPN, but it never worked (I was trying to change Fonts at the time - phone just hanged, and that option has now gone now using Global ROM)

This is speaking with oppo Spain and they told me that in Europe the application of themes does not work, I tried to put another region like in Xiaomi but it does not filter[emoji24]

Sorry I can't post pics directly because I just registered a few days ago... I don't know if the link is even accessible.
I think the store is region specific as the prices and language are tailored to the region (even the ads).
So Oppo just needs some time to bring the content to other regions like Europe as they have only entered these markets recently.

Is there a way to side load the store to my phone, in application manager the theme store is there but no app for it at all and under display settings when I click change theme there's only the default theme with no other options, also, is there an FM radio app in the other regions?

I don't think there is a way to side load the store, unless you manually load the official rom of another country that has the theme store (mostly asian countries) and then use a VPN to setup the phone. This is of course a tedious process just to get the default theme store....
In my opinion, just try out some launchers until oppo releases the European theme store to make your life easier.
Oppo has a default FM radio app, but you have to get it from the app market.

Yes, you need to downgrade your firmware to 10.0.xx using HiSuite. Ensure back your data before you do it.

You have to downgrade to previous version of firmware(at least, in my case).

a) So far my banking app is working well. I never encountered any security issue
b) Almost all Google services. However, push notifications not work well. Some apps works, some don't. Huawei will push latest security update. Mine is August.
c) 10.1.0.259 with Jul patch. The G app will work. If installed with Aug patch then G app won't run. Then firmware downgrade need to be done.

If doesn't helped, remove updates from AndroidSystemWebView app, somewhere in apps>all apps>three dots>show system apps. Otherwise you will see just user applications.

actually i have notification categories like in your photo
remove update from androidsystemweb do nothing

You can try to install any older version if yours doesn't work correctly https://apkpure.com/mi-home/com.xiaomi.smarthome/versions and have you enabled all notification options exactly in Mi Home app profile?

Yes all enabled, installing older version make appear some options in categories, but no notifications at all, also replacing with newer version

Have you tried to change MiHome region settings (China, Singapore, ...) or some times login/logout your mi account , then wait for 10min and test... Some times mi servers are to busy

already saw that threads, i have 2 phones with same locales in build.prop, in one phone mi push notifications work, in other not, so is not related to this

Sometimes locale and region are not easy to find, there is lots of *build.prop files, you can check the difference by using setedit/settings database editor app and also firmware can make a problems Global/European/Indian and so on.

Actually there is some sort of bug where is impossible receive mi home push notification (very important for security cameras and sensors) on poco x3 pro and latest miui 14 from xiaomi.eu
in first pic you can see that the categorie is missing (this app hasnt received any notifications), in fact no notifications
in second pic you can see xiaomi home categorie is there, and notifications work!
on x3 pro i am actually in the first pic situation, if you don't have mi home push notifications check there what you have
please xiaomi.eu team fix this problem in some way, or report the problem to xiaomi

Don't open another tread with the same problem... On first pic, option is not active because I don't have any MiH device... Second one mean that you heve one or more, and you can enter this option and manage... Should look something like:

what phone and rom you use?

Poco X3 pro off course, 13.0.3EAA... if you are on early 14.0.1-0.2 it's not a big surprise. But my best friend have the same phone and version and using MiH devices on 14.0.2, hi told me everything works fine... First time I jumped to 13 from 12 using small update package, it was lagging like a boss and after I updated with full rom (without loosing data), all bugs disappeared.

actually im on 14.0.3 eu rom
your friend use eu or eea? can you check your build.prop and take a screen of your locale?

We ordered the same phones in one order, he is on 14.0.2, updated with full rom, notifications works
