Microphone problem - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

Hi
So when I am using the speakerphone during calls and especially VoIPs like Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and IMO, the other side barely could hear me saying it's not clear.
Do you know guys which microphone is active while the speaker is on?
I am planning to change that microphone and see if there is any change in quality.

Problem only exists with loud speaker's microphone not with headphone's microphone.

Terrible hangout mic?

I've noticed that when I call people, my mic sounds fine but when I join a hangout, my voice sounds terrible. I know it's not hardware based since phone calls sound fine and it's not Internet based because when I connect to the same hangout on my nexus 7,it sounds better. Is anyone experiencing this on hangouts?

Need help with voice calls

Hey guys I'm running the cataclysm ROM with Franco r25 kernel. Every time I'm on the phone with someone they say I sound very muffled. But when I do a audio recording of myself it sounds clear. I'm also on T-Mobile. Would it be T-Mobile or the phone?

This could be one of a few things:
1. It could be your network
2. You may be speaking wry loudly into the microphone
3. It could be a microphone issue like other people are having.
Personally I would believe it's a software issue that Google will hopefully address soon.

Here's the thing my fiance and I are both in T-Mobile. She hears me very as if I "put a pillow on top of my phone" so she says. When I talk to others they say the same thing. Now here's the weird thing when I record a voice memo it sounds crystal clear. I would think if the voice memos sound good. Then phone calls should sound good as well.

Do you wear a hat or something or maybe you are covering the top microphone with your finger? I heard that complaint when i'm laying in bed with the phone pushed up against the pillow.

any app to raise the phone's speaker volume(for phone calls) specifically?

thanks, i like to use the incall speakerphone alot but i can barely hear the other person, is there a mod for loudness? also how to to set default of speakerphone always = on when u make a call or pickup the call?

Bluetooth Bitpool Mod

Anyone planning to come up with a mod that fixes the Bluetooth quality when streaming while connected to a wearable? I know APT-x doesn't suffer from this problem but my car stereo is A2DP (Ford Focus 2013). The crackling is annoying as hell, makes it sound like I'm listening to a 64kbps file when I'm playing FLAC files

Unable to talk on phone using headphones

Hi all, anyone having issues using wired headphones with a mic while connected to the Mix3? I use my phone for work a lot so this is important to me. I can hear audio, but no one can hear me. It's like the phone isn't picking up the mic on the headset.
Thanks in advance
