[QUESTION] G955W should I update?

Hi, so i've got a Canadian s8+ G955w (snapdragon variant), I was wondering, if I update my s8+ with this

will I still be able to root my device after the update? Or would the update prevent me from being able to root?

Have you checked out the rooting post for the Snapdragon?

Hey Guys,
i wanted to flash Oreo on my Honor 6x with HuRu Updater, but instead of downloading the files as listed in this thread i downloaded the files for BLN-AlL10!
Im now stuck with a strange version, my bootloader locked and FRP Locked without the ability to enable OEM Unlock in Dev Settings. (see Screenshots below)

Is there anything i can do or is it finally bricked?

Pixel 2 is critically unlocked but unable to normal unlock

I have OEM unlocking and USB debugging both enabled.
IMEI starts with 35, ex verizon?
If that's true how can it be critically unlocked?
What can I do?
I have looked for hours and can't find anyone with this same issue.

Flashing Firmware without wiping my Pixel 3

Hello all,
if I only want to update the firmware without resetting the smartphone, is it enough to flash the current bootloader and the current radio image via fastboot or do I have to consider anything else?

Hi. After flashing my Tab12 CN tablet with global rom I got stuck in fastboot mode. Did this happened due locked bootloader? Guide I was following never mentioned to unlock bootloader first. Is there any option to unbrick my tablet?
