Can I flash european firmware on unlocked V450PM? - LG V50 ThinQ Questions & Answers

Hi!
I have LGV450PM and I'd like to know if I can try to flash the firmware for example for Hungary on it? Will it brick my phone?
Btw LGUP 1.16 succesfully see my phone.

You cannot cross flash it will just give you an error. There's no chance of brick because it just won't flash

But why LG doesn't allow crossflash?

Because carriers don't want you to use another firmware... LG has never "allowed" cross flash in the past

But it was possible with LG G7 for example.

That's because your trying to flash it on a different model. I had already replied to your PM about that. You'll need to do a hex edit on the tot file your using to be able I flash it.

Yes you can. The LGH631 and the LGMS631 are both the same devices essentially, same exact hardware on the same exact network. I personally used the 5.1.1 T-Mobile bootstack and the returntostock zips which I flashed via TWRP after rooting. Stay stock unrooted 5.1.1 and then jump on your wireless network and wait for the update. I was able to keep my Metro apps this way.

I don't believe LG Flash tool works anymore, at least not for our phones. I was lucky enough to get Marshmallow through the OTA after reverting back to stock, but when I first got the phone back in October last year the first thing I did was try to root it and bricked it. If you download LG Bridge there's an option for "Update error recovery" on the bottom right of the software update tab and you can sideload a kdz file there.
Here is where you can get USB drivers for the Stylo.
Thank you. Just trying to get this figured out in case Draken is unable to get his zip fixed. I'm currently rooted on 5.1.1 and trying to go to marshmallow
Not a problem. Happy sideloading, but keep in mind that a kdz is a full return to stock and you'll lose everything on internal storage and you'll be setting it up like a brand new phone. Then again if you're going to root it using the guide on here you'll lose all internal storage data anyway so...
Regardless, good luck!

There is a method to flash the T-Mobile kdz file 10j and then OTA update to 10L and then to MM.
I was rooted on Lollipop/Katana ROM and did this method and am on MM/T-Mobile variant, then rooted after MM update.
LG Flash tool was used to flash the Tmo kdz 10J file (lollipop).

Hey,
LG UP is a new and easy tool from LG Official. It can flash kdz/tot/dz files.
You can use "LG flash tool 2.0.1.5 or above" to flash kdz/tot/dz files.
The LG flash tool 2014 is a tool modified by some one from Vietnam, I did not test it.

G710ULM working on Android Q

I'm not 100% sure how to test it, I'm on AT&T and it makes calls fine, has a 4g logo while I'm in a call in the task bar not the LTE logo though. There isn't an option to make it use only LTE in the mobile network settings.

LG g710ulm21d
Hi. i have a lg g710ulm version with the software version of "g710ulm21d" android pie.
I am in bangladesh now. I am not getting a single update since july 1 2019 Security patch.
Is there any way to update my device to android 10? Without any bug ? Which will be stable enough.
Please help.

Is there any bloatware on this firmware or is it clean like the ULM?

Is it possible to crossflash update G710NO30e to a G710ULM?
Hi.
I'm trying to flash my G710ULM (which I've already flashed with G710AWM30b version) to the newer G710NO30e update or any of its variants, but every time I try LGUP keeps saying "Error: 0x4, Not support cross model download G710ULM to G710N". My question is if there is any way to crossflash this version successfully.
Thank you.

Check on reddit lg v60 thread and ask them, there are people with EA models, ask to unlock bootloader if not unlocked
Just replying to say that's awesome!
Hey man is there any way i can contact you. I also have an ea version and would like to root it aswell.
now that LG mobile is no more, maybe we can petition for them to help us unlock our phones!
I've been thinking of writing something like that up. The issue is there are so many closed source components in the OS that disentangling it is far more work than LG has ever shown an interest in doing.
Hey guys, for all of you who rooted the LMV600EA, does your VoLTE still work? or is that a A11 issue?
Also is that a thing on the V60 that if you unlock BL, the Fingerprint sensor won't work at all? My unlocked G8s worked fine.
Edit: Fingerprint sensor just randomly started working lol

Hello everyone, I am from Vietnam. I am buying a variant of LG V60 ThinQ in the Taiwan market with its model number: LMV600EA.ATWNCB
Everyone can refer to it from the following link: https://www.lg.com/tw/support/product/lg-LMV600EA.ATWNCB

Lol. I yet didnt buy it, V600EA Taiwan market. Okay, thks so much for your information, i will stop buying it now.
Hi,
I'm having trouble flashing the patched boot.img to my phone, I hope someone can help.
I have an LM-V600EA (European SWC variant) and I've done the bootloader unlock process via LGs website, and flashed the unlock.bin. fastboot getvar unlocked tells me the phone is unlocked.
When I adb reboot fastboot and then fastboot flash boot boot_V600EA10o_00_1118_magisk.img I get the following error:
sending 'boot' (98304 KB)...
OKAY [ 2.259s]
writing 'boot'...
FAILED (remote: Cannot flash this partition in unlocked state)
Anyone able to shed some light what I am doing wrong?
Thanking you in advance.

I have OnePlus LE2110 (Chinese variant). But it gets the update for LE2115 (Global/NA variant). I use MSM Tool for Global.
Did it give device mismatch error in msm tool? What tool are you using

No. Although my device is LE2110, but OTA updates automatically get the updates for LE2115. So I can use MSM Global Tool for LE2115 too, and I don't have to convert or anything.
In your case, maybe this will work to convert:
Convert T-Mobile OnePlus 9 to Global (or other) firmware
** USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. ** READ THROUGH THE STEPS BEFORE ATTEMPTING. IF AT ANY POINT WHILE READING THESE STEPS YOU GET CONFUSED, YOU PROBABLY SHOULDN'T ATTEMPT THIS. ** BACKUP YOUR FILES AND APP DATA AS THIS WILL WIPE YOUR PHONE. ** BACKUP...

Use at your own risk though. I haven't done this, and I take no responsibility.

This didn't work brother and the phone gets bricked. I got is fixed from some local shop who bought around 300 pieces of this model and had the stock files. They said the sim will not work and you can't update.

I really have no idea. Never heard of LE2119 variant. How about you unlock bootloader and then install custom ROMs? They are way better than OOS. I would personally suggest crDroid or Nameless. They have tons of features and are stable.

I'm afraid that it won't boot and I'll have to take it to the shop again. The signal is also locked but the Phone software is perfect while running A11 Stock

Ok. If you wanna go the safe way, download Oxygen Updater app from Play Store. Then download incremental firmware zip from there and try to update through System Update's Local Update option. If it's not compatible, the system just would not flash it at all.

Then I'm afraid I can't suggest anything else. You have to experiment on your own.

Are you a developer? Even if you are, you would have to be an employee at OnePlus to know what goes on in MSM Tool. If you really wanna experiment, I suggest you unlock bootloader and try custom ROMs. At least unlock bootloader and see if you can do that. There would be no harm. In T-Mobile variants, you can't unlock the bootloader simply, it asks for unlock token and you have to wait a few days. So, if you can unlock bootloader the simple way, there would be hope that this device isn't doesn't have freaky security like T-Mobile.
i can fix this device they basically killed by flashing wrong img & now its not able to take stock file if anyone have device in hand to test then DM me I'll build file for this.
Make sure i need full info
and it's may not done in 1st attempt
