Any way to get good performance in Rome based on lollipop, marshmallow and nougat? Because I have been testing a lot of roms and all of them suck in terms of performance. And I do not understand why people love them. The only rom that is excellent at performance is CyanogenMod 11 unofficial

I agree, everything I've tried is terribly slow. Do you have a download link for CM 11 unofficial?

Hi people... Can you please help me find some good and tested ROM with HALO notifications?
I run now on Paranoid ROM and this ROM is nice, smooth and stable, but HOVER is not so good for me like HALO. I want HALO back. Is there some ROM with this future?
Try crdroid

No, in last build was HALO removed...
I cant find good ROM with HALO
Here is not fans of HALO?
Aosb? Aospal? Mokee? You need to do a bit of Rom hopping, there must be one keeping halo.
Still, it seems destined to disappear, as android evolves an nobody is developing it anymore.
Search the forum. There are apps that provide similar features, and there was am xposed module too. I think.

hmm and no one from you use HALO?
Apps and Xpose is still slowly like nativ system support.... But thanks for replay.
halo has this inherent problem of not being maintained anymore. thus adding it and tracking is just a pain. plus hover has cleaner base. that's why everyone is implementing hover.
admittedly... crdroid developer said that he like halo more. but hr too needed to move on.
i guess we need to see what pa people bring to fulfill missing halo features.
Ok, I will wait... ?

Liquidsmooth still has Halo on its features.

I was just curious about this!
Are out there any marshmallow roms in development for our Mi4i based on the AOSP?
I saw something for Mi4 and Mi3.... Also, fun fact, I've just installed an aosp rom, based on M, on my g pad 8.3 and it's working really good!
Thanks guys!! [emoji5]

Your thoughts?
It's amazing news! I hope there will be official CyanogenMod And of course custom kernels.
Mi4c + CM13
Yesterday they released kernel source for more than a year or two years old phones. Do we have to wait like years?

Agree with that
maybe, after one year, at the end of these phones' warranty period, then they will release kernel source.
hopefully this is not our case.
You say soon, but they don't say soon. They just said next.
The message might be slightly suggestive towards that it might be soon, but these are translations.
I'm holding out hope... but not too tightly.

Well at least we have something right? I'm just being optimistic and trying to find reasons not to trade/sell this phone. The hope of the kernel sources being released is one of the few reasons why I'm still keeping this phone.

No, not quite.
Although that is where the kernel sources would appear eventually... when they end up releasing them.
But I don't understand one thing if they released the sources for mi3 mi4 2-3 days ago then how these devices have official cm support?

These phones are true Xiaomi flagship phones, anyway more flagship than Mi4c, which is something like Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S3 Neo, this second is newer, but the first one is the true flagship. That's why.

yes, more battery life, better performance.
especially in case of Mi4c, its battery life is not on pair with its battery capacity.

Is the kernel source tied to an android version, or is it enough to assure further updates?
Hello to all.
The Moto G of my wife (stock 5.1) every time goes to worse in performance(yield). There is very much development in this smartphone and not that ROM and version Android OS to install.
I look for something stable and light(slight), as simple as possible.
Do you recommend to me some ROM?
Thank you

All ROMs are good. Especially nougat based ROMs. You can try any ROM but follow instructions carefully

Thank you for the response.
I look for a ROM that has the just thing, my wife uses it for photos and video, the e-mail, to sail and whatsapp. all those fewer things better.
Lineage 14.1 for example?
Regards.

Yes Lineage 14.1 is good, always up to date, MainstageOS is also good
I am currently on Beta 2 and was wondering if I needed to update to the Official OxyegOS 10.0. Is there any difference between two?
If you don't have bugs, there are no differences.

Just few minor bugs with the auto brightness and whatsapp. Besides that it's stable. I am just afraid that if I updated to the official oxyegos the battery life would be effected. Because the battery life is really good right now.
Do not update! You do not win anything and with my experience I think you lose ... I will return to PIE and maybe beta 3 when I leave ...

Why? And lose what exactly?
I went back to pie myself. Too buggy for me. Things were not as they were with P and some apps/modules no longer work with 10. Battery life sucked with 10 as well.
