Hi. sorry for bad english
this guide for downgrade htc rhyme on stock rom 1.29.401.3 (RST)
because when you unlocked bootloader, rom increases on 2.0.0.3.....
Recover the full Stock except Relock bootloader.
all the responsibility on you. All personal data will certainly be affected
This procedure will consist of several steps
1 Changing the version number, in order to downgrade firmware was possible.
2 Downgrade device
condition: device must be unlock and have root
Step 1: Changing the version number
condition: bootloader unlock, device is loaded and connected, debugging on.
1. Put the files downloaded from here (aks me) in the tools folder in the root of drive C:
2.Open a command prompt and enter the following code (after each line enter):
cd c:\tools
adb push misc_version /data/local/tmp/misc_version
adb shell chmod 777 /data/local/tmp/misc_version
adb shell
/data/local/tmp/misc_version -s 1.00.000.0
After the introduction of these commands, you should have the following:
--set_version set. VERSION will be changed to: 1.00.000.0
Patching and backing up partition 17...
Note: If you will have an error «Error opening backup file.», Make sure that your memory card is inserted into the phone, not in the computer (make sure the phone is not switched to USB Storage).
3. Enter the code:
# sync
Double-check back to write code and make sure that all the work you have done correctly with the code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p17 bs=1 skip=160 count=10
After entering the code should appear:
1.00.000.010+0 records in
10+0 records out
10 bytes transferred in 0.001 secs (10000 bytes/sec)
STEP 2:
1. At the command prompt, type the following command to restart the boot menu (bootloader):
adb reboot bootloader
1.1 Open another command window (not the previous close) and lock bootloader using the instructions from htcdev
1.2 After the locking bootloader device will be reboot ..... hold the lower volume button to enter the bootloader and select the power button fastboot
and back to the first command line window
2. Make sure that your device is recognized by entering the following command:
fastboot-windows devices
3. If your device is properly recognized, it is necessary to return the serial number. Use the code:
fastboot-windows oem rebootRUU
4. Your phone will now restart. The screen of your phone will be black with a gray-silver logo «HTC».
5. After that, we need to reinstall the original firmware. It may take a few minutes, as the transfer of distribution firmware from PC to phone is not fast. Enter the code:
fastboot-windows flash zip StockRom.zip
In rare cases, the installation stops and the user pops up a warning that it is necessary to immediately repeat the installation. Do not panic, just type «fastboot-windows flash zip StockRom.zip» again and it will work.
7. Once it's over, wait a few minutes, then restart your phone, using the code:
fastboot-windows reboot
it's all
You have to be installed in the phone firmware version 1.29.401.3
Is performed on the RST(Russia) rhyme. But there is a chance that this can return any stock rom on any cid. just before it in the folder TOOLS needed to replace an existing zip StockRom, your original zip

Just over half a year ago (January 2012) I have unlocked my sensation with rev. h-boot, installed 4 ext recovery and flashed Android Revolution. I've been using the phone in a number of countries since, with no problems. A couple of days (9/08) back, when I returned to the UK my sensation started behaving as if it had been IMEI blocked, and after fiddling around for a while I discovered that the IMEI android reports is different that the one printed under the battery/on the box. Given it doesn't seem I have any backup (bear in mind it worked like a charm for past half a year) is there any way of repairing that corrupt IMEI? Is it (so naive) stored in more than one place on the phone so I could access the factory IMEI or anything of that sort? I've tried using the fastboot oem writeimei command, as well as the root terminal emulator command that have been posted on these forums a number of times but neither of them worked.

From the dialler which one does *#06# report ?
Your fastboot might be neutered (can't issue write commands properly) if you upgraded the HBOOT using the universal firmware packages posted in the Dev section, even though it is still s-off.
When you boot into the bootloader, does it say *** LOCKED *** or Revolutionary in the very top left? If it's *** LOCKED ***, you need to reinstall the Revolutionary HBOOT.
If it says Revolutionary, issue the following commands from Windows to fix your IMEI:
Code:
fastboot getvar imei
[shows old imei]
fastboot oem writeimei 123456789012345
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot getvar imei
[shows new imei]

Is this not a little illegal ?

This works it is ilegal, kinda.

not really
I dont believe its illegal if he's repairing/restoring IMEI back to original, if he/she's "changing" a valid IMEI then yes.

It needs a custom fastboot binary (Revolutionary) and you are (technically) legally limited to restoring a damaged IMEI on your own consent. As explained, creating a false IMEI is illegal. Just a heads-up.
I am trying to unlock the bootloader for my device (it's a cheap Chinese phone) and then root using Magisk. The first problem is that OEM Unlock option is not available in developer options, so I got no choice other than try unlocking using fastboot. Now the second problem is that fastboot doesn't show anything at all. Normally there is a Fastboot written at the top left corner of the device but in my case there is no output but the blank screen, and I do verify that my device is in fastboot mode because when I do fastboot devices, it show's the output:
Code:
C:\Users\Mujtaba>adb devices
List of devices attached
Y3123A0310Q0100020953 device
C:\Users\Mujtaba>adb reboot bootloader
C:\Users\Mujtaba>fastboot devices
Y3123A0310Q01000209 fastboot
Since fastboot was responding (partially), I tried to unlock the bootloader using different commands but each time I get read/write failed error.
Code:
C:\Users\Mujtaba>fastboot oem unlock
...
FAILED (command write failed (Unknown error))
finished. total time: 5.011s
C:\Users\Mujtaba>fastboot oem unlock
...
FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))
finished. total time: 80.886s
Alas, I got the same results with fastboot oem unlock-go and fastboot flashing unlock as fastboot is not accepting (at least I think) any command except fastboot devices.
I read the official guide and there I found that:
Devices should deny the fastboot flashing unlock command unless the get_unlock_ability is set to 1. If set to 0, the user needs to boot to the home screen, open the Settings > System > Developer options menu and enable the OEM unlocking option (which sets the unlock_ability to 1).

My device supports unlocking bootloader because I've checked the build.prop file using adb shell getprop and it includes the properties stated below:
The ro.oem_unlock_supported property should be set at build time based on whether the device supports flashing unlock.
If the device suppports flashing unlock, set ro.oem_unlock_supported to 1. If the device doesn't support flashing unlock, set ro.oem_unlock_supported to 0. If the device supports flashing unlock, then the bootloader should indicate the lock status by setting the kernel command line variable androidboot.flash.locked to 1 if locked or 0 if unlocked.
For devices that support dm-verity, use ro.boot.verifiedbootstate to set the value of ro.boot.flash.locked to 0; this unlocks the bootloader if the verified boot state is orange.

Click to collapse
Code:
C:\Users\Mujtaba>adb shell getprop
[ro.oem_unlock_supported]: [1]
[ro.boot.verifiedbootstate]: [green]
[ro.boot.flash.locked]: [1]
[sys.oem_unlock_allowed]: [0]
.
.
Someone on reddit did this to find the OEM unlock state, mine of course returned 0 as you can see above.
Code:
adb shell getprop sys.oem_unlock_allowed
Device Specs:

Seamless update (A/B): NA
So, is there any way to change it to 1 ?

0. We answer the question, do we need it at all? If necessary, then why?
1. If the answer to the first item is positive, then go to the settings, to the "About phone" item, twist to the very bottom and poke at the "Build number" item many times, so we will unlock the "For Developers" menu.
2. We go back to the settings and go to the "System" section, there is the subsection "For Developers" we are looking for, go to it
3. Immediately we stumble upon the item "Factory unlocking", it is for the sake of it that we are doing all this now. We press, we agree with what they scare us.
3.1. Below is the item "Debugging via USB", we also click it, one day we will need it.
4. When flashing through adb, you will need to register the command below, and only after that do:
Code:

If okay so the number Serial appears
Unlock
Code:

See device screen and follow instructions.

If you followed 0~2 steps so need Update tool: Platform-Tools for Windows
i install the latest version and i still got this error message
is there anyone on the forum that already unlock bootloader on doogee s96 pro?
If fastboot is located in Android's user-space, what IDK because don't have your device, then IMO the correct command sequence is
Code:
adb devices
adb reboot fastboot
fastboot reboot fastboot
fastboot devices
fastboot flashing unlock
You need to turn on oem unlocking from developer option.
After that you can unlock bootloader. You need to flash mobile.

Hi folks! I'm new here and Ihave a question about install TWRP on my Doogee S96 pro. In the past I rooted nearly all my phones...first Sony then some Xiaomi's.
Now I'm at the step to install TWRP via fastboot. The bootloader is unlocked and I see every time the orange state warning. If I install the TRWP image I see no failure. All is fine. But if I reboot to recovery I come to the stock recovery. I'm using the TWRP from here and nothing else I changed.
Is it possible I made a mistake for example I must rename the TWRP recovery.img? Or I must delete some user data?
And by the way...Doogee and updates. Anybody knows wheter android 11 is sheduled for the S96? Or is there a custom rom of Android 11?
I hope my question is clear!? I apologize in advance for any misunderstandings. Please ask me if i forgot some helpful information.
Greetings!
Hello again! Now TWRP is running. I tried with PowerShell. The first times I tried with "cmd".
But the next problem is the encryption in TWRP. How can I deactivate it?
Good night!

To decrypt a android phone, you usually have to reset to the original "non-encrypted" state, and then decide to not lock it with a code. Then do the installation process

I don't know the format of your firmware but you could try flashing the firmware using Manufacturing Flash tool if its Intel-based
Hey
niltigospedid you find solution?
I've got the exact same tablet with exact same problem. I've been trying to fix it for days and tried almost everything. Tried fastboot with linux machine, and win 7/10, different usb ports, different usb cables, with or without adapters. Nothing seems to work. I've tried the Platform Flash Tool Lite but it just always throws this:
Don't know how to reboot device BaytrailA844BC46, state is 'dnx_os'
ERROR : [Port 0/12/4] Failed to reboot the device
You found any real stock rom firmwares or TWRP images for the tablet?.
I suspect the bios might be corrupted but no idea how to get the original bios or how to flash it to the tablet.
