Last week i'm searching how to flash ZUK z1 zui version finally got some idea how to do that. so here i'm just posting my experience maybe it will hep for others as well. This is the first time I'm posting some thread related to mobile so obviously there should be some mistakes in typing and explaining. first of all i do apology for that.
Download the Full ROM file from here and extract to your computer. Here is the link https://mega.nz/#!fYpwFRCT!RyQrvcXGV...uSUoiwmPorIwe8
1. You need to install Qualcomm driver and ZUK Z1 driver to you PC, you can download it from this link https://mega.nz/#!7ZpXUSSK!Rx8IptfmNcu_5TORmR7Z2egWOJbDV8l_0gE3E5aevNY
2. The Qualcomm driver file shouldn't be signed so most of the windows operating system will not allow you to install, to install the Qualcomm driver you need to enable the unsigned driver installation.
If you are using windows 10 or windows 8. or 8.1 you can enable in this way. (go to the power option from the start menu hold the shift key from the keyboard and select restart option) for more information you can see this link http://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-...igned-drivers/
If you are using windows 7 you can disable the driver signature verification from the boot menu. (when you see your computer motherboard name or pc logo just type F8 so there you can choose the option disable driver verification)
3. If you install the driver files successfully then you need to download and install the QFIL tool you can download the file from this link https://mega.nz/#!jYQh0bzS!Uvg2hqXOQ8Q2pyKBT6PkL8v4rRbde3l__ZXpY9yKMKs
open the QFIL tool you can see on the top "no port available" then just power off you mobile volume up key hold connect the usb cable to the computer then you can see the QFILL too will detect the driver the name like "Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008 (COM4)" now the driver installation has completed.

Then browse programmer path select the "prog_emmc_firehose_8974.mbn" file then load XML file "rawprogram0.xml" and "patch0.xml" now you can select the download key.
Z1_CN_OPEN_USER_Q4275709.1_L_ZUI_0.9.084_ST_150729 _qpst.rar file which is extracted earlier all files you will get it from the ROM folder.
if it's finished then your mobile will be restart automatically.
NOTE:- You will get new update but don't update it now install the recovery and flash the gapps file other wise if you updated to the newer version which is 1.2.0.40 then it's not easy to flash the recovery.
If you have any doubt please leave the comment. Be careful if you brick the mobile i will not responsible so if you have any doubt before you proceed please ask.

It's not with tool, it's with the ROM file download the ROM from this link https://mega.nz/#!rYgB2QpK!r2raxb6-Ms-Zz1MIiSw3MJJBozWNoFc-DXbb3U4YAMA

Can it be flashed with Breadcrust's twrp update 5 and can gapps be flashed back to back after flashing rom or do we need to reboot after flashing rom and then reboot back to recovery to flash gapps. Do we need to edit updater script to be able to flash via twrp and lastly will it erase internal data.

Just flash the rom and the gapps without a reboot in any twrp recovery. Internal data will not be erased. No edits needed
Zui device is code named k9 and cyanogenOS is code named hem, are you sure no need to edit updater script or it has already been modified, I'm currently on cos, will I be able to flash back cos in case something goes wrong. Sorry for noob questions

Flash A Part 2 Dont Reboot
Flash SuperSU
Note**If Elimnater74s Rom does happen to delete your recovery.img then you can still flash TWRP by using FlashFire by ChainFire**
Also once you upgrade to MM even if its a ROM you CANNOT revert back to LP.

It is part of the tot, directions look good, follow completely and you can have stock-rooted MM

All I was looking for, thanks, will try this this weekend.
OP, just a suggestion, you may want to indicate that twrp is part of the tot file. It wasn't clear there.
This method certainly looks cleaner than the other method discussed last night. Looks like pure stock rooted which is exactly what I want. I passed out last night after i finished backing up everything which is a good thing now! I don't see anything about unlocking the bootloader in his instructions which is interesting. Basically it's flash the kdz, flash the tot, reboot recovery and flash superSu and you're golden. You would assume that this is necessary but has anyone tried this yet and not had to do that? It would actually be a bonus to not have to do that and avoid the corruption splash screen.

If we are already on stock MM do we need to install the KDZ first? Or is that just to get you to MM?

after that I just get boot loops, red text boot verification failed.
I enabled OEM unlock in settings, so I don't know what the issue is. I also tried redownloading the files.
Nevermind, had to get into fastboot via Vol down + plug in USB then unlock the bootloader via adb command

is your bootloader unlocked? that was my problem. had to unlock it to get the phone to boot, then i got into TWRP and flashed su. i got it all done with the help of member warp64
your pc should have install adb and fast boot drivers imp . and pda net driver just search on google . and install it . after that follow the steps:good::good:

Select all files and right click. Choose Extract selected from the context menu.
Choose the ouput folder and press OK. Or just right click on the list and select Extract all, choose the output folder again and press OK.
5.download flash all tool from below link

6. extract the flash all tool and Paste all the extracted flash file from the huwei updateextractor in the same folder
just reboot your phone in to bootloader mode and just click flash all option . thats it .

Its for honor 4x so I think it would work but you need a stock firmware file according to your model..

Prerequisites:
-Bootloader Unlocked
-Copy the files "twrp-installer-daisy-3.2.3-0-offain.zip" and "ForcedEncryptionDisablerDaisy.zip" into the external memory card of the phone
How to install it:
1_ Download the files from the Dropbox link
2_ Extract "ADB" on a folder on C: (call the "adb" folder to facilitate the process )
3_ In the "adb" folder copy all the downloaded files
4_ Extract "daisy_global_images_V10.0.3.0.PDLMIXM_9.0.zip "
5_ On the device, activate the "developer options", then activate the "OEM unlock" and the "USB debugging"
6_ Open a Powershell window in the "adb" folder (Hold "Shift" and press the right mouse button ")
7_ Type " adb reboot bootloader"
8_ As soon as it is in "FASTBOOT" mode, go to the "daisy_global_images_V10.0.3.0.PDLMIXM_9.0" folder and click on the "flash_all.bat" file
9_ When completed, IMMEDIATELY return the phone to FASTBOOT mode (Power key + Key down)
10_ Type "fastboot boot twrp-daisy-3.2.3-0-offain.img
11_ When in TWRP, copy the "twrp-installer-daisy-3.2.3-0-offain.zip" and "ForcedEncryptionDisablerDaisy.zip" files to the SD card from the computer
12_ When the operation is completed, return to the home and go to REBOOT, and select BOOTLOADER
13_ Type "fastboot flash aboot aboot_9.6.4.img"
14_ Type "fastboot erase system"
15_ Type "fastboot erase userdata"
16_ Type "fastboot flash system lineage-16.0-20190313-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvN.img"
17_ Type "fastboot flash userdata userdata.img"
18_ Enter TWRP (Press and hold power key + up key. When you turn it back on release the keys)
19_ Go to INSTALL and flash the "ForcedEncryptionDisablerDaisy.zip" file
20_ At the end of the operation, press REBOOT, and here is Lineage OS!
If the boot was successful:
1_ Download the Gapps
2_ Go into recovery
3_ Make a simple SWIPE TO FACTORY RESET
4_ At the end of the operation click on INSTALL and choose the Gapps
5_ Restart
6_ End!
If the memory should be reduced (example: the internal memory is only 8GB instead of 32GB)
1_ Go into recovery
2_ Go to WIPE, then ADVANCED WIPE
3_ Select System and press REPAIR OR CHANGE FILE SYSTEM
4_ Press RESIZE FILE SYSTEM and confirm
5_ Repeat the operation, selecting DATA
6_ Restart and enjoy the ROM!

1. I test this method with windows. To avoid issues, try with the Windows PC or use a virtual machine
2. Yes, download the zip file and flash it from TWRP

There should be a flash_all.sh in there too that runs on Mac. Use the terminal. You need fastboot in your PATH.
Why would one go through all this trouble when there is a good gsi Lineage 16 here? I just tested it today and it works really well, specially with CAF kernel. Just the naming of the file is kind of weird, bvN instead of A/B. Besides, you don't need to erase all partitions, just system.

edit: i manage to fix finger print issue thanks to Bogdan Kyslenko
1. copy "10mount" to /system/etc/init.d ( rename "10mount.txt" to "10mount" before copy )
2. copy "plat_hwservice_contexts" to /system/etc/selinux ( rename "plat_hwservice_contexts.txt" to "plat_hwservice_contexts" before copy )
3. flash delfpgoodix.zip
4. reboot

FP-Fix already described, but what´s important for me, that I can use bt call to speak free in my car! Can anyone test, wheather it´s working here - in all other gsi´s except of havoc 2.0 it´s not working.
Btw. I already replaced qril-files and telephony-service with stock ones - no luck!

If you want to root your phone first of all you need to unlock your bootloader... I already wrote the instructions in the version of Android 9 pie.

After unlock the bootloader need to install latest Magisk manager in your phone

Download and install it
2. Open Magisk manager apk Click on the first one magisk is not installed click on install after that one dialogue box will pops up on the screen [Do you want to install magisk click on install]
3. Now there is a two options as select method 1.Download zip only 2. Select and patch a file Download the boot file from Link: https://mega.nz/#!LZFzgYjK!dwJDghKnBU7gPLJlLIxvW3cwZtZi3bA2n-kI-yBfJHA
4. Click on the second one Select and patch a file and install boot file after that you will see Patched_boot.img downloaded in Internal download folder (Internet required while installing boot file from select and patch a file...
5. Move the patched_boot.img file in pc and locate in adb and fastboot folder now boot your device in fastboot mode now write this command
Fastboot devices (wheather your device connected or not)
Fastboot flash boot (you can drag the file patched_boot.img file and hit enter) Fastboot flash boot patched_boot.img
Fastboot reboot

I can confirm that this works on Nokia3 TA-1032,
but the problem is the camera. After rooting, camera does not work!
All you get is green background, if anyone knows hot to fix the green
