I have build UNOFFICIAL LineageOS 14.1 with the latest security patch (December 2019). I hope it will be useful for some people.

- if you want to get rooted, use magisk
- use opengapps nano (you can get it here)

Where can i find the latest cm13 with updated security patch ? has for lineage OS 14.1 substratum doesn't work properly.

as for cm13 i prefer sultanxda's version of cm13 https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...m-kernel-unofficial-cyanogenmod-13-0-t3242700 and as for lineageos 14.1 there are many unofficial builds which has substratum support. you can find it on the forum.

Hello friend I'm on the latest version of the official software and I'm trying to install custom recovery. but keep telling me (only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed (recovery)), with this rom of yours I can flare over and install twrp?

A note by @wileyc
These builds are created every Saturday night from a 100% unaltered LineageOS repository, which is synchronized with upstream every day. I must stress that there are NO MODIFICATIONS at all; if it worked/didn't work in the last official Cyanogenmod/LineageOS releases, it works/doesn't work in my builds. At Apple we called these "sustaining builds" -- they keep devices in sync with the latest security patches, but receive no new features.
Notes: This flashing procedure is same. If you are coming from any other ROM clean flash is needed. And obvisouly latest gapps.
Please do not ask anything in official to official lineageOs thread. These are builds are coming directly from lineageOs sources.

hey guy,
for m7 (I also own one) it's an oldie device who might run with LOS 14 maximum, as I have several devices from 2012/2015 year ranges, believe me it's running very slow with 2015>android versions. I failed to run PMOS on it, LOS 14 runs very well, Im testing since an hour DivestOS if you want to compete me in tha way lol!

hello, thanks for yr input. My M7 with LOS18.1 and a gapps nano works fiine and is not slow. Of course it is an old phone with dito hardware and not too much memory, but it works still so well that it would be a pity that upgrading to the next android (12 or13 when that is ready) would not be made anymore.. Also I think of the security patches.
