Galaxy Trend Plus GT S5780 keeps rebooting - Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2

Hello,
I have a Galaxy Trend Plus and I'm having a few problems with this phone. Some months ago I flashed the stock ROM through Odin because the device didn't work. After that, it worked. But now for some reason every time it boots after roughly 1 minute it sets brightness to max, fills the screen with interferences and reboots. It repeats this again and again.
It rejects stock firmware update through Odin, even if the process is successfully completed.
It rejects recovery update to TW or CWM through Odin.
It rejects NAND erase thorugh Odin.
If I try to wipe data through the stock recovery it completes the process but then nothing changes.
To sum it up it rejects everything I do to it and keeps rebooting forever.
What kind of problem is this? What can I do? I have thought about flashing the single files for the tabs "BL", "AP", "CP" and "CSC" but I don't have them.
Please help.
EDIT: I made a typo in the title, It is GT-S7580.

[Q] A Tale of Two Roots - Joy and Woe - What should I expect?

Hi Guys,
Succesfully rooted and ROMed etc SGS & SGS2 many times before.
Yesterday rooted my Note 2 n7100 and Note 10.1 n8010 using CF Root. Both UK models with latest stock 4.2.1s
The Note 2 went fine....done in 10 seconds, rebooted and worked.
The n8010 succeeded in Odin, bootloaded fine (as in Samsung logo) then went into scrambled screen for a few seconds then black.
Tried restarting several times, gave up, left it and it rebooted 10 minutes later with no root.
Question is: What should I have expected? I'd expect the same rooting scenario with the Note n8010 as with the n7100 - 10 seconds in Odin-> auto Reboot -> Done. But I ended up thinking I'd bricked my n8010 for 10 minutes.
The .tar was fresh from CF's site.
TIA,
Sullivan

Hi Scorpion,
I downloaded from CF's site the 'CF-Auto-Root-p4notewifiww-p4notewifixx-gtn8010.tar.md5' file in the Odin with .tar package for the n8010.
I nearly crapped myself when it rebooted into a scrambled screen (after Samsung logo) then went black.
Before I repeat the experience 'd like to know if this is a very rare occurence / sometimes happens / happens quite a bit...
The 'CF-Auto-Root-p4notewifiww-p4notewifixx-gtn8010.tar.md5' file measures 17,571,925 bytes on my Win PC.
I've used Odin on and off for about 4 years and this is the first time something like this has happened to me...
[edit] Oh, I'm coming from stock XXUMC5 build of 4.1.2 [/edit]

I dont know what really happened ... the Note 10.1 is my one and only android device and i tried CF auto root one time
and succeeded ... but mybe something rare happened ....on the site it's written
For the root to work, the device must reboot into recovery. Most devices will do this automatically after flashing
these files, but in case that does not happen, please boot into recovery manually.
Maybe thats what went wrong!!
And maybe try the included ODIN (what i did) if there is any modifications :S
OK... I did use the included Odin...
I've just tried a normal reboot to recovery (vol up + power), not having done any flashing etc, and I got the scrambled screen and it reboots three minutes later having done a factory reset!
Back to square one again!
A screen taking me straight through to initial reset again!
ANNOYED! (not at you scorpion - just at this weirdness)
Just attempted a fresh reroot using newly downloaded .tar.md5 on the freshly factory reset n8010, using the supplied Odin (v1.85) and had exactly the same scenario happen again.
Doesn't look like I'll be getting root this way?
Anyone any idaes??????
*** SOLVED ***
Works with Odin 3.07 as opposed to Odin 1.85 (with .ini settings as supplied by CF in .zip file)
SO....
With my Note 10.1 (4.1.2 ***XXUCMA5 , UK model) the root don't work with CF's supplied .zip package.
I'm now a HAPPY BOY again.
Thanks for pitching in Scorpion.

(sOLVED) my note is stuck on Samsung boot screen!!

i upgraded my note N8000 via odin mobile pro with success and everything was smooth and the root was not intact
I tried to flash a theme via mobile odin but was not success, but note was still ok
then 2 days later I tried to enter the recovery mode , i found the note stuck on samsung boot screen and dose not reboot, I can enter download mode but can not enter recovery mode to reflash even the stock rom
what to do?
should i reflash the CWM as 1st time? then reflash the root if i found it is gone?
or i have to reflash the stock rom first via odin desk top since i can not reboot the note? problem is the stock rom is on the note and do not have it on PC
the note now is on Samsung boot screen, how to turn it off since note can not remove the battery?
EDIT 1::good:
Flashed a stock recovery via odin desk top, and rebooted
Note is back alive , no wipes, every thing still there, root still here
Rebooted once again with success
rebooted into recovery (stock since I lost my CWM) with success
EDIT 2
Flashed CWM and my note is back for my modifications
:fingers-crossed:
Stock Recovery File?

sorry, my mistake, flashing the stock rom will not delete your stuff, just be sure to flash the same rom or higher, not lower one
So, I tried flashing the stock recovery and that did not work. And then I tried flashing the stock rom (multiple times with different roms) and that did not work either. My tablet is still stuck on the screen that says "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1". Do you have any other suggestions?
can u write some details about what was before and reason for problem, to think together about a solution

My Note 10.1 N8013 was rooted, had TWRP, and Cyanogenmod 10.2 Nightly on it. I hadn't touched it in two days and went to turn it on. It wouldn't turn on, so I assumed it was dead. I charge it overnight and try to turn it on in the morning, but it just goes into a boot loop. The tablet says "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1" and stays that way until it dies. If I boot into recovery mode, the Teamwin (TWRP) title screen pops up and then immediately disappears. The tablet then shows the battery loading icon if it is plugged in. The icon shows up, then disappears and the shows up again and repeats this a few times. I could only boot into download mode successfully.
I have tried flashing different stock roms and recoveries through odin, including the one that you have linked on here. None of them have worked. I have also tried repartitioning the tablet, which passed on Odin, but did not solve the problem.
Other forums say that I should do a factory reset or wipe the data, but I do not know how to do this without being able to boot into recovery or the OS itself.
Thanks
P.S. I also brought it to Best Buy to see if the Samsung guy could reflash the stock rom, but his rom did not work either. They are all passing on Odin, so it isn't an error in that case.
I read that a lot of people got problems with Cyano roms. I did not like it and never used it, sorry can not help you

Could it be because of the Cyanogen rom? I didn't update recently... I probably updated it a week before it died. Would you happen to know how to do a factory reset / wipe the data from the tablet, if I can't get into recovery mode or the OS?
I don't think that there is any other way, sorry about that.
try to put your problem in the Cyano rom thread, may others had the same and solved it
Ok thank you
Let me know if you get it fixed
Hi kyleschepis,
Let me know if you find a solution. I have a very similar issue . . . the difference is, I am not using a custom ROM. I have the stock ROM that came with the GT-N8013.
My issue started about 5 days ago. My Galaxy Note had been having occasional issues with the external SD card. A warning would appear saying that the SD card had been removed, and a couple of seconds later it would re-mount and every thing was fine.
But 5 days ago, I picked up my note and turned the screen on (it was already started) and noticed the warning message while the screen was still locked. Then, as the second message was still being displayed letting me know that the SD card had been mounted, I swipe the screen to unlock. But instead of unlocking, my Note completely rebooted. It got as far as the logo screen (displaying "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1"), but would go no further.
I am able to get into the Odin download mode but cannot get into recovery mode no matter what I do/
I have tried re-flashing the stock ROM ("KIES_HOME_N8013UEUCMI3_N8013XARCMI3_813049_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5") several times, as well as trying to install customer recovery modes like CWM and TWRP, as well as the stock recovery. But the power + volume up combination does not get me into recovery mode. Even if, as many have suggested, I continue holding the button combination until the logo screen displays a second or a third time.
I have been without my Note for 5 days now, and I use it for everything. So, any help I can get would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob

I have the same problem. I was just playing a game when it suddenly turned off and went to the boot screen. Also tried installing N8000XXUDNE5_N8000OLBDNE3_N8000DXUDND1_HOME.tar.md5 (success but also didn't work). Still stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1" screen.
Also can't access recovery, or do a wipe before installing firmware (I think USB debugging isn't turned on).
Did you find any solutions yet?
Thanks.

boot loop and failed odin

I' m in possesion of a Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 (GT-P5110) and is stuck on a boot loop. I tried reseting it but it didn't work. I tried to flash the stock rom with odin but it showed fail message(did it a few times with the same result). Then i found a thread that said I should find the hidden.img.tar file in the rom that I downloaded and use that.I did this and after about 2 seconds odin showed a successful message but the tab went on boot loop again. I did again wipe data but nothing happened. I tried Kies( my device is not compatible with Smart Switch) but the device (I have it in donwload mode since it can't turn on) can't connect with Kies(I left it an hour with no result and i plugged it in again and so on). Does anyone have any idea if there is another solution or what's the problem?

Can someone help me?

I read in the thread guide that i should do this. just ignore it if i'm wrong.
Device: Samsung galaxy s6 edge SMG925f
Rom name: idk i can't even go to the home screen
Rom veersion: idk i can't evn go to the home screen
Build number: idk but i flashed an md5 file with the name G925FXXS5DQJ1_G925FOLB4DQJ1_G925FXXU5DPL6_HOME.tar
Rooted:????
no mods, i remember flashing twrp though
Okay to the problem,(sorry for my bad english) so my mom gave me a broken galaxy s6 edge if i fixed it then it's mine! but the problem is i can't ,it's been seven days since the first day i'm fixing this device.
at first it was stuck in a bootloop and 98% chance it will freeze during booting when it freezez it sometimes create lines of corrupted pixels i just press vol down + power to reboot.
I researched how to fix it and did a factory reset and wipe cache but still not working.
So i figured out i need to download a firmware to fix, so i downloaded one and it took two days because of the slow free download and frequent fails. i tried to flash it and i realised i downloaded the wrong one, so i downloaded one again and it took me a day. after that i tried to flash it using odin 3.12 and it fails during flashing 99% percent of the time because of the constant freezez and i need to press vol down + power for 1 minute for it to reboot now if i'm very lucky the flash will complete BUT during installation it froze at 24% so i flashed it again for the second time, that took 8 hours. and suddenly it to complete the flashing and installation BUT, upon completion it sudddenly says something like "No drk please install drk" i was completely infuriated and upon hours of research i found a tutorial where i need to flash auto chainfire so i did it, and it doesn't work it just cause bootloops
so after that i researcheed again and found this file kernel_G925f sforum i flashed it. and upon reboot it says 'Kernel is not seandroid enforcing' ,and it's not yet fixed it just cause bootloops and sometimes freeze on unfinished samsung logo animation.
I am now trying to flash firmware again to see if it could get fixed. every hour i am losing hope.
If theres any tips i could get that would be good.
If i fixed this s6 it'll be the biggest achievement of my life and own my first working smartphone.

Please Help with SM-G920V Verizon S6

Hello All,
My friend has a Verizon S6 that is not booting up. Stays frozen or in a boot loop on Samsung logo.
No idea what Android version it had.
I downloaded the latest firmware md5 file for it from SamFirm and tried to flash it with Odin. It was a single file so I used the AP button as usual.
It starts flashing but when it comes to System.img Odin fails. I tried many times with many Odin Versions and re-downloaded the firmware file and tried many usb cables and 2 different PCs but no go.
As I'm writing this, I tried it again and it completed the flash successfully but the phone booted up in a blue Android screen and it said installing system update, then erasing and it froze right there. I go into recovery and reset to factory settings and wipe cache. And the purple LED is on all the time.
So now it's stuck in a boot loop on the Verizon logo red screen.
I believe something is messed up in the partitions or memory, I'm not sure. Anyway I can revive this phone for him?
He's not interested in rooting but if it's a must, no problem; anything to get the phone started.
The phone is sim unlocked cos he was using it on sim cards outside the US, so he would like to keep doing that as he no longer lives in the US.
Thank you kindly in advance.
