Hi,
I have s10e exynos and I have problem with camera, my camera won't focus anything at normal zoom (1,0x), when I tap ultra wide, then is every thing ok, and when I zoom out(0,9x) it is ok, everything after 1,0 is blurry. I tries factory reset and in safe mode, doesn't help. Can you help me with advice? Is it software problem or should I visit my vendor?
It seems that i have the same problem

Hello, I've had this Samsung Galaxy S8 + since few months. I don't remember if I was able to zoom while in front facing camera mode but now I can't zoom at all.
It says cant zoom in this mode. I tried turning all option on/off but nothing works.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Are you using a ROM? Is it rooted? What version of android? Have you tried a factory reset?
Guys my main camera stopped working.
The process is not blocked by any other app.
I tried service menu and test camera, it doesn't perform the test, it fails.
Only way to take pictures is to use gcam v1.4 and manually choosing wide or zoom camera.
When u choose 1x camera it stays black and crashes.
Any ideas?

Have you factory reset?
I got the same problem. Just got a black screen and camera app would freeze. Did a factory reset, camera was extremely choppy for a minute or so and now back to nothing.
Tried another factory reset. It seems like if you change the default resolution settings to anything (even tapping on 'FullVision' in settings), it almost breaks the camera. Best to leave it at default 4:3 12 MP resolution.
Seems like a "driver" issue, good work LG.
Did any of you ever find a fix for this? Just got a Korean V50 Thinq and the camera is 99% of the time crashing. I tried installing gcam mods as well and they also crash, primarily while using the main camera.
Got it repaired via LG warranty. They replaced the main/motherboard. Phone has been fine ever since.
Same thing happened to my phone and warranty is expired. I tried the hard reset and may other ways, but nothing helped. Did anyone find a solution for it?
Hi,
I've got the Samsung Galaxy S21+ since release day, Exynos, UK unlocked.
I am noticing that when I open the camera app on the normal settings, auto setting and on the standard lense it takes a good 10-15 seconds to actually focus.
I've tried clearing cache for the camera app, clearing all data for the camera app and I am on the latest available software update for the phone.
Is anyone else experiencing anything similar? Has anyone found a fix?
Thanks,
Dan
Same, even changing portrait to landscape takes a solid 3s, it really sucks
Same here. Camera takes a while to focus, upward of 10 seconds and shutter lag is obvious.
Has anyone else also noticed photos come out with weird, massively boosted brightness and everything when taken with 2x zoom or higher on stock camera? Strange thing is even at 1.9x zoom everything is fine but 2x and beyond the photo is basically ruined because of this. Very annoying.
HDR and other enhancements are turned off, yet this occurs.
Doesn't happen on GCam. Any idea/solutions? Thanks
Tried here. No issue. And 2x zoom photo from stock cam was better than GCam 8.3 for me.
Didi you activate HDR and IA options in stock cam?
Yes they're all deactivated. No problem upto 1.9x zoom, but as soon as 2x zoom is engaged, there's a sudden although small change on viewfinder white balance. And final photos look extremely bright and noisy compared to 1.9x and below, as if some weird filter is put on. I've downgraded the camera but still happens.
Btw, bootloader is unlocked, not sure if that's got anything to do with it.
Its interesting if you don't have this problem. What's ur software channel and build number? Thanks
Without this bug, you'll generally get better zoomed images on stock camera because it'll use 64mp crop instead of only 16mp recognized by GCam. But this bug ruins it.
Unzoomed though, GCam's HDR+ is still the best.
Just discovered this thread.
Yes, I have the same problem. But it looks like the effect is not the same everytime. Maybe depending on light (indoors vs. outdoors)?
I noticed it happens when i zoom in in worse scenes. It could be that the automatic camera mode is overcompensating by cranking the iso way too high. Have you tried using the pro camera mode?

Yes, but I don't think pro mode uses 64mp crop like auto mode, just a crop of 16mp, which doesn't have much detail that's required during zoom. Also it's annoying trying to switch to pro mode everytime.
