Facing error"error executing updater binary in zip" ( 12.1.1 YOG7DAS2K1) Oneplus one
I tried wiping Data, Cache, System and then after flashing above update it says flashing failed.
Following are the details of my Oneplus one
TWRP : 2.8.7.0
CyanogenMod Version: 12.1-YOG4PAS3JL
Build Number: LMY48B
Device model- A0001
need a solution.
yeah same with me. Weird thing is it just says Error! nothing else is printed on the screen
I have found a solution for this problem.
You can follow this step:
1) Instead of downloading 65.8 MB incremental file go to cyanogen -support website( Sorry couldn't paste the link as i am new user) search for your device and you will find a link which will download the latest complete rom. This rom is of around 700mb.
2) Copy this downloaded rom mentioned above to ur device.
3) Take a Backup
4) Wipe Data, Cache,System or Simply just do factory reset with the help of TWRP
5) Install the Rom using TWRP
6) Reboot and finally your device will be updated and there will be no error.
it worked for me.
While flashing rom on oneplus 7 this error is coming i tried by deleting compability zip same issue too

Which TWRP Version are you using?
You should use 3.3.1-79 from here
Device Information: Redmi 3S Prime - 3GB - 32GB - 6.0.1 Marshmallow
Bootloader is unlocked and phone is rooted. I used TWRP, Magisk and lazyflasher and verified with Root Checker app.
Now I am trying to install lineage-16.0-nightly-land via adb sideload and getting error as shown in the screenshot [https://imgur#com/X16jONh]. Let me know if it is not readable I will write it here.
Basically it is showing
E1001: Failed to update system image.
Updater process ended with ERROR: 7
These are the steps I have followed:
1) Unlocking bootloader this was just standard.
2) After that to root the phone I did
2.1) `fastboot flash recovery recovery.img`
2.2) `fastboot boot recovery.img`
2.3) Wiped "Wipe->Advance Wipe->Cache"
2.4) Installed "no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1.zip" (downloaded from [https://build.nethunter#com/android-tools/no-verity-opt-encrypt/)
2.5) Got error similar to above "E1001: Failed to update system image. Updater process ended with ERROR: 7". I ignored this error and moved on to install Magisk.
2.6) Successfully Installed Magisk.
2.7) Rebooted the phone. Installed Root Checker from playstore and confirmed that the phone is rooted.
3) Flashing lineageos
3.1) Wiped "Wipe->Advance Wipe->Cache, Dalvik Cache, System, Data"
3.2) Tried installing lineageos and got error similar to above "E1001: Failed to update system image. Updater process ended with ERROR: 7"
3.3) I then tried the adb sideload method. First I checked if my device is being listed by doing `adb devices` on terminal. It was being listed.
3.4) Then I formatted the data as instructed here [https://wiki.lineageos#org/devices/land/install#installing-lineageos-from-recovery]
3.5) “Advanced”, “ADB Sideload”, then swiped to begin sideload.
3.6) Did `adb sideload lineage-16.0-20200715-nightly-land-signed.zip` and got the error as shown on the image link [https://imgur#com/X16jONh]
What should I do to resolve this error? Please Help.
Please let me know if any other detail is required.
Since I am new user, I am not allowed to post links. As a workaround I have replace .com and .org with #com and #org. Please correct them. Sorry for the trouble.
Hi, I was installed TWRP on my phone, wanted to install Pixel Experience. I get an error during installation:
Checking for Digest file...
Unmounting System...
Flashing A/B zip to inactive slot: A
Step 1/2
Error aplying update: 26 (ErrorCode:: kDownloadMetadataSignatureMismatch)
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
To flash additional zips, please reboot recovery to switch to the updated slot.
I would be very grateful for your help.

I found that: https://www.reddit.com/r/LineageOS/comments/cwtiv4/stuck_on_an_error_on_a_xiaomi_mi_a2_lite/
Maybe it'll come handy
Have a good day
I get an error when I install the system update.
I want to update manually via recorvery but I get an error: E: recvmsg failed (No buffer space available) do you have any ideas for this? System arrowOS
and assert failed: update_dynamic_partitions(package_extract_file("dynamic_partitions_op_list")) E:Error in /sideload/package.zip (status 1)
MAybe your downloaded file is corrupted?
No, I have that with every update. It only works when you reload the system. I reset the settings and everything and the same
It seems you are updating via sideload, maybe damaged data cable?
I changed the cable and the same
Why not just use OTA update?
TWRP latest beta and arrow recovery support that.
Never had any issue like that even when I manually updated in TWRP.
I just tried via OTA but an error pops up
Installation via TWRP: Updater process ended with ERROR: 1, Error installing zip file '/external_sd/Arrow-v12.1-vayu-Official-20220821-VANILLA.zip, Failed to mount '/system_root' (No such file or directory)

Flash MIUI Fastboot-Image, then ArrowOS. /system_root' (No such file or directory) <= not good.
If you are fast enough, you can boot directly into fastboot after successfully flashing MIUI and flash TWRP and ArrowOS. I did this on another phone a few months ago and it worked
Tried different ways to restore and nothing has helped. I downloaded Crdroid and solved the problem. Thanks to everyone for the answers <3

That just means your download was 100% corrupted.
