Error: cameralist not match - Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Questions & Answers

I am on MIUI Global 11.0.4 | 11.04.0(PDGMIXM) and my front camera isnt working.
I've replaced the module twice and the same error persists, the second rear camera acts as the selfie camera. In CIT, all camera tests return "error cameralist not match", including the rear cameras were the cameras do work.
I've tried reflashing, clearing cache, what else can I do?
Thanks

I have the same problem with my poco X2
What should i do

Front Camera does not work?!

Hello,
some days ago I got my Mix 2s (Global Stable 9.5.4.0. , yesterdays OTA 9.5.19.0). Everthing seems to be fine, except the front camera: When I select the front camera only the second rear camera always appears. The Same in Google Duo for example. I donĀ“t know if it is a Hardware or a Software Problem. Although the entry for the front camera is displayed in the CTI, the test can not be performed because the device is not responding. What can I do to fix it? The OTA update to 9.5.19.0 did not change anything.

Front Camera Not Working Xiomi Note 5 Ai

Device: Note 5 Ai
Global Beta Rom
'Camera keeps stopping'
This message popped up. Then I restarted my phone. I could open my camera. Rear camera is working fine. But front camera doesn't work. When I touch the icon of front camera it switches into main camera with the features of front camera. I mean rear camera with front camera features. A screenshot of front camera has been attached.
To resolve this problem I did
1) Clear Data and Cache of Camera App through Installed App and Reboot the Device.
2) Make a factory reset.
3) Update from V10.0.2.0 to V10.0.4.0
4) Make a hardware test.
None of the above method worked.
What's the problem and what's the solution? I see many redmi note 5 ai users are facing problems with camera and none of them got any solution.
How can I get rid of this problem? Please help.
Thanks.

Umidigi A3 Pro - Front Camera stopped working

So I updated the Firmware to 20190416 and the camera switch button is missing from the camera app.
I tried using third party camera apps but no luck. I tried clearing cache but nope.
when I go to Face Unlock setting, It says "cannot connect to the camera."
rear camera still works though
I've the same problem, did you find the solution?

Telephoto lens dont work

Hello, i just found out that telephoto lens does not work when i put the camera in x5 or x10, it just zoom in from the main camera. For x10.1 up tl x50 does nothing. What happened? Even at day light. I tried clearing app, force shut down and restart phone but no fix.
Does anyone have the apk or from where to find it? Also by downgrading is it possible to fix?

Rear Camera not working after installing MIUI 13.0.8.0

Hello everyone, after years of resolving my issues just by looking here on XDA, it's time that I post an issue with my Poco F2 Pro. Sorry if my english is not correct (i'm from Italy btw).
So, yesterday i got a notification that told me that i could download and install the MIUI latest version (13.0.8.0), and i did it. Later, when I wanted to send a photo i opened the rear camera and "surprise" it wasn't working. Here's what I found out trying some apps:
GCam >> when I open the app, the rear camera comes out but on the screen i see the frontal camera. If I swipe to the rear camera, the app freezes for a bit and then it cloes itself.
Camera's Stock App >> when I open the app, the rear camera comes out but on the screen i see the frontal camera. If I swipe to the rear camera, i visualize the Macro Camera.
Whatsapp >> the app doesn't even give the option to switch to the rear camera (in fact, i think that the app does not detect the rear camera) but i can easily take photos with the frontal camera.
Instagram >> here i have the option to swap to the rear camera but if I do so, the app freezes and it closes itself.
CIT Mode >> when I check for the Rear Camera, i get the error "get the empty or null camera id".
I brought these examples hoping to show that it's not an hardware problem, since before the update I used the phone and the rear camera easy as always, and i think that the update could have compromised or smth the way the phone detects the rear camera. Anybody has the same problem? Or at least anybody knows how to fix that?

Delete all other camera apps, erase all Miui camera data, reboot.
Same, factory reset.

Thx i'll try asap, meanwhile i have a question: erasing all Miui camera data means that I lose the photos that I took with the miui camera?

Nope, it's cache and settings.
Also, check permissions, long press camera icon, info/permissions.

This is indeed the solution if the factory reset does not change anything and before to concluded that there is a hardware problem.
