I was using Android Auto before getting the Android 10 update . It continues to work for me now. I would suggest going into system>apps and bring up android auto. Clear the cache and storage and see if that helps.

Is it the app itself, or is it not coming up on your car's screen?
The reason I ask is because you must be plugged into the USB port for the car's screen to work.

**Edit**
Did a search of my problem online and it seems that Motorola is trying to push an update to me? It will only download with an active wi-fi connection for some reason. Also I just tried updating my phone in settings and instead of saying nothing was available, its errors out because i'm not on a wi-fi network. Anybody confirm this for me please?
An update? Thats interesting...
I just hooked up my phone to a wifi and its auto downloading an update.

lol right?
I just checked my update status and it reads no update is necessary at this time? Any idea yet what the update is?
Its the first update we found on cheesecake. Its not official and I'm working with Mark the admin with Motorola to find out what it is. I guess he's gonna do something on moto's side. We shall see shortly.

Make him upload stuff to help unlock the bootloader. xD
Actually haha I am going to ping him tomorrow about that. Maybe he has some insight on when an official update is coming
I am on CM10a4. Was having some problem with incoming calls and did factory reset to solve that. But wifi stopped working, but 2g data is working. Did restore from nandroid backup of 2 weeks back when all was okay. But wifi still not working. Connects, seems to indicate activity but nothing happens. Wifi works on my laptop so router and modem are okay. No settings have been changed.

Try to connect through some third party apps available in play store.
If not useful, go back to stock and reinstall cm10.
Hope it should help.
Good luck.

Seems to be something wrong with router only, got the wifi working on another router. Thanks for the replies though.
Google Play Services is killing my data plan. I did some research on the forums and I am assuming this is because I just installed CM and my nexus is trying to download the new 4.4.3 update. What should I do to make it stop? I Read that for some people checking the restrict background data box works but it doesnt for others. Also read about an app called DisableServices but also came across mixed results.
Can anybody help me?

I though this was fixed in their latest builds? Which build are you on?
I thought so too. But apparently is trying to download. I was on 4.4.2 and then installed cyanogenmod 11

Install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice
Go to System apps, google services and then disable "SystemUpdateService". This should fix it afaik,
Seems like the issue where the phone keeps downloading 4.4.3 over and over.

Android device manager?
Where do i find it in the menus? Either I've totally lost the plot or I've lost it. Lol

That's the app. And you may be able to find it under Security. I don't use it anymore so I can't remember, I use Cerebrus.
Seeing a stupid comment on Google Play about an app you love and marking it as "spam". You've done it too.
Thanks, it weirdly says install on the play store but in my device manager settings i have this option -

It's not in the settings menu. It's in the app drawer as Device Manager.

Go into Google Settings > Android Device Manager. The app you see in the Play Store is the manager you use when the device is lost, like what you get when you use it on a desktop. The actual thing is part of Google Services.
Yea i get it now. Lol
