Hi all,
I have the LTE variant of the Note Pro 12.2 (SM-P905) that I purchased in Malaysia. I guess that makes my product code XME. Does anyone know if there are any negative effects of me installing firmware released from other regions, such as if I were to install firmware from Hong Kong (product code TGY) or Taiwan (product code BRI)? Would it impact the way my LTE works?
It's just that the latest firmware released for Malaysia is from May, whereas the Hong Kong and Taiwan regions have firmware as recent as September and I'm looking for fixes for a nagging issues I've been experiencing.
Thanks.
I'm Chinese.i will buy s6 HK version.i just wonder G9200 will be supported as USA version.will CM support IT??
Flashing new firmware on my Samsung Note 4 SM-N910A USA AT&T. (overloaded with at&t bloatware) Snapdragon 805. Anyone know what is the most "stock" firmware is? I researched that SM-N910F (Europe) would be the best. Sammobile then ask for a region. Which region is best when the device will be used mostly in the USA. I am confused - UK, France, Germany?
Thanks
I have a Note 10 Plus model SM-N9750 dual sim from Hong Kong with firmware N9750ZSU1BTA1.
My question is: can i flash another firmware from Europe, for example? If it is possible, I'll lost some functionalities such as Samsung Pay or anything else?
I live in Brazil and Yahoo notices keeps in Chinese on bixby panel
Thanks in advance
I too have the same issue. Hope there is an alternative firmware.

I believe the firmware in Europe is for the Exynos processor. The SM-N9750 uses the Qualcomm processor. You cannot use an Exynos ROM on a Qualcomm phone.
Hello there!
I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with the model SM-S9080 (China). Unfortunately my S22 Ultra does not support all languages fully, I switched the language from English to Swedish and some stuff remained in English (settings and other things).
My phone's model is SM-S9080...... what would happen if I install the firmware for a european version of the firmware (SM-S908B) of the Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-S908B) on my model (SM-S9080)?
Try Morelocale 2, and if it doesn't work then use other similar apps.
Uploading another firmware will put you on a path with problems.

Problems? Like what? Would it work?
Last time I installed a firmware for a phone it was the phone region's firmware and it works perfectly.

You can't install any Exynos Firmware on a Snapdragon Variant. Best option is flashing Hong Kong Firmware (TGY).

So it has to be the same processor, can I in this case install the USA version?
I saw a version called China (Open china), do you by any chance know what is meant by "Open China"?:
Download Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra SM-S9080 CHC China (Open China) S9080ZCU2AVF7 firmware
Fast download latest Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra firmware SM-S9080 from China (Open China) with S9080ZCU2AVF7 and Android version 12

It isn't just the same processor you should be worried about. Not every phone of the same processor have the exact same partition sizes, which could cause the flash to fail. They could also not support the same mobile radios. There are enough variables that I wouldn't feel comfortable assuming it would work based on processor and supported bands alone.
If it doesn't work, the best case is the flash fails. Worst case you brick it, I don't think this one is likely as it should just fail but also I'm personally not in a position to risk it.

There's only one CHC Firmware, some refer to it as "Open". Your device is an outlier, only three versions of firmwares can be flashed on it, none are from the US. Only CHC, BRI and TGY.
