can we install themes without cwm
because default recovery.img dis image file which already flash in stock rom is also have menu like "'install update from SD card"' so is there chance to install themes that stock recovery.img or without using cwm

yes we can install theme with the stock recovery
but we need to deodexed and the theme should be for that rom
I am trying to install custom Rom on my xperia u
i have everything which i need to do anything like root unroot CWM RecoverX flashtool
but i don't know how to flash experimental kernal U 12 bcoz in the zip does not contain any .inf or .sin and .elf file only a boot image and nothing is in boot image i also extracted it how i can flash pls tell whole steps the kernal is attached have a look
pls fast i have too install JB in my xperia U

boot.img is flashable via fastboot // zip is flashable via custom recovery
Make sure that your rom supports this kernel.
Hello, I want to install pacman rom on my xperia z, I have a doubt. In the instructions it says:
* Download the ROM and GApps
* Reboot to recovery
* Wipe data/factory reset
* Flash the ROM and then GAapps
* Reboot your phone
* Enjoy
I have flashed other roms, and the boot.img needs to be extracted and flashed first, that's what i think should be the process, my Q is, Am I right? Extract the boot.img and flashed?

What help exactly ? Finding a custom ROM for your phone or installing one.if its installing one just head on to recovery mode ,click install and then choose the .zip file of the ROM to install .after that install gapps for the new ROMs android versions and then a SuperSU.zip file after. And reboot system after.
