Android 10 update - Sony Xperia 1 Guides, News, & Discussion

Just got this today. Anyone has updated to Android 10 for Xperia 1? Want to know how good this is. Thanks

Didn't notice any differences yet. BTW, it's a good idea to hide/remove some sensitive information from your screen capture.

Any camera improvements? Especially in low light and scenes with high contrasts? Would be great...

Pitch black is awful, dark grey is more pleasing

I think it is similar to pixel 4 colour scheme, maybe Sony just doesn't have their own color scheme.

Why don't you just install it using newflasher or flashtool?
Change it for NOBA and be happy!
Oh, and don't unlock your bootloader. (I saw several people make this mistake unknowingly)

Puta puta puta Sony I want my update 10

It's really simple man.
Download the firmware using Xperifirm (Customized NOBA), download newflasher, read the instructions (3 or 5 steps) and after that, repair the software using Xperia Companion.
If you need help, send me a PM.

Just update using Flashtool 0.9.28. It has XperiFirm integrated. Download firmware you want with XperiFirm and flash using Flashtool. No need to repair anithing. I changed region with Flashtool without any problems.

if this week these bums don't update i will do that

Stock Android Lolipop for LG-H955 (LG G FLEX 2)

Hey Everyone! I am looking to install stock(Original) Android Lolipop 5.1.1. But don't know how to do that.
The LG OS sucks!
I assume I first have to unlock my bootloader and then root my device. not quite sure which tool will help me do it safely.
Help Anyone?
Locked bootloder at the time... The only you can do is uninstall everything related to lg, with a rooted device, and install any launcher like apex, but its not an aosp, is lg rom with mods...

We must make something to make lg unlock it... I think its useless to lg lock and keep locked the bootloader, but... I dont know why, they still do it

Maybe we can get the stock android look, also stock nav-, statusbar, lockscreen, recent panel and so on ... of my knowledge this is everything stored in SystemUI.apk and on our phone at com.lge.provider.systemui.apk
maybe we can do a port

Look at the original first G flex. Still locked down I'm sorry but LG as of now seems like the phone to stay away from as for right now if your into flashing custom roms.

Yup lol. That's what I went through with the original first G flex... All I had was root and honestly that wasn't even enough but the only reason I stuck with it was because I had no choice and plus the battery like was really amazing getting close to 7hrs SoT.

we can expect something with the g4 unlock.
I think bootloader is almost the same in g4 and flex2, h955 that are unlockeable maybe give us a clue to solve the problem...
I have no problem with lg rom, it works great for me, kernel, for me its the same, but I hate the customization in notification bar, aosp bar is perfect...
Anyway, Im really happy with the phone as is, a custom recovery maybe give us the chance to play a little more keeping us safe

new update released

New update released lets hope this one works properly, no customised UK yet though
More regions released for the latest firmware update 33.2.A.3.81

For me scrolling in settings/chrome etc. is much faster. Battery life has improved. Don't know how much better but im sure it is. I left phone with 82% and after 9h sleeping its still 82%. Now, like 6h after awake I got 72% but Im on call about 1 hour, after talk - like 20 minutes on chrome+wifi so for me is way better than before
Notes: I wiped userdata during flash, then backup all apks, settings, contacts etc.
In antutu still about 49k, but noticed a bit more FPS at graphic test.
Still android 6.0, update security to 1 august 2016.
At this time is everything from me

Make sure you only include what's in the screenshot and you will be ok. This is what I did/included when I flashed my xa with customised UK firmware. DO NOT include anything with simlock.ta in it or it'll brick it and only Sony service center can ressurect it.

Greetings again, I have flashed by Flashtool the factory version of android 4.4.4 and nothing, I have mounted lollilop 5.1 and 6.0.1 and the problem persists .. What I find strange is that when I turn on the phone the fault does not appear , Only when I enter the android desktop ... I am thinking of unlocking the Bootloader because some suggest that it may be the Kernel ... Do you know anything about it ?.

Hi! The last chance is to flash a custom kernels for your model. If this won't help, then I have no idea how to fix it. Maybe it's hardware problem?
