Help me to save a TF700t - Asus Transformer TF700

Hello people, I'm from France 44yo and have an issue
I have buy a TF700t from someone, it is booting on "signature mismatch" error, I usually repair samsung or apple stuff and Asus is new for me. So I have read many messages on XDA before posting. seeing too, the message posted here in april or march with the same error.
BUT, the thing I have and havn't read nowhere is that I can't enter to the recovery. When the device is enough charged, it keep turn on with the ASUS logo a the center, Nvidia logo at the botom right and in the upper left in little print "signature mismatch..."
if I try to shutdown with the power button, I have to keep my finger couple of seconds, then the device reboot, no shutdown
if I try to push the volume button - (so the left buton) i'ts the same and no recovery, it simply reboot (I have tried many times !)
I didn't read some users who can't go to recovery, and before I buy, 2 people have tried to recover and missed. The guy who have this TF700t was believe it was a TF201, he have tried to flash with the wrong files but the recovery wasn't working
I am pretty sure that I have a TF700t because I was going in the ASUS support chat and gave the S/N to know exactly what was my device before doing anything
I have tried also to power on with the volume + and at the time, there's nothing at screen and the device is reconized on windows 7 so windows try to install an "APX" device, so I was happy to think that I will try to restore with Nvflash or something else from computer.
So today i'm stuck, I have read different topic and tried to install Asus Usb drivers, Universal_Naked_Driver_0.72 and all doesn't work, when I go to control panel, and try to install manualy from my computer, no drivers found, when I try too to install the .inf file there's an error. Seems the tablet is ok for APX but can't connect with windows
thank you for your help and sorry for my english, hope it's clear !

So first victory, got installed the APX drivers with the drivers found here: https://blog.kveer.fr/acces-nvflash-sur-lasus-transformer-prime-tf700t/
no I have "Asus transformer 700 APX interface" installed on windows, what should i do now ?

hello, bad luck can't connect with fastboot. so i've bought another working TF700T, works but screen is broken on the down left, so the mainboard don't have to be touched, i waiting for it and going to make one with the two. for the price of 2, it is half than that i can find in ebay

Hey @max216, if you still have your bricked TF700T with you, there is a way to unbrick it. PM me if you interest.

hello friend,
the end of story was that I was able to restart the tablet but some hardware screen connector say that was enough... I have bought some Samsung tab and note, easier to repair and many more customers to buy them !
thank you again

[Q] PLT-7223-G assistance.

Hi.
I got a Proscan PLT-7223-G tablet for really cheap (free.)
It's actually not bad (yeah, yeah...), and runs most things that I've tried fairly well (had some stuttering playing Tomba! but eh...)
Thing is... I want to be able to do a few things that I need root for.
So far, I have found nothing about this tab. It's running a RK2928, has JB 4.1.1, and that's it.
There are no hard keys, so I can't even use recovery mode (even though I can get to it through adb...)
Everything I have tried to do to root it has failed. Auto-rooting programs hang. Manual rooting gives me permission errors (probably the cause of failed everything else,) and I don't really know enough to figure this out on my own.
So... Anyone out here have any help for this mystery tab? Or at least be able to point me in some new direction? Or even just let me know how to use recovery without buttons?
Thanks in advance.
So, I've kept trying to figure things out to see if it's a clone of something else. It seems the same as the IPPO K7, but I don't know the GPU on mine since it just says "Super 3D GPU" on it. And the IPPO K7 root kit gives me errors about not being able to access folders..
PLT-7223G ADB Connection
Kurobei, I know its been two months since your post but I'm hoping you will reply. I also have a PLT-7223G tablet that I have been trying to connect to using ADB. I have stumbled through windows XP "New Hardware Found" and managed to get "Android ADB Interface" to load when I plug in the Tablet. But ADB DEVICES returns nothing. I have the latest ADB version of 1.0.31. I have added these lines to android_winusb.inf
;ProScan plt-7223g
%SingleAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_16d5&PID_8005
%CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_16d5&PID_8005&REV_0222
under both [Google.NTx86] & [Google.NTamd64]
Do you have any tips?
---------- Post added at 08:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:51 PM ----------
Never mind. I found my error. In C:\Documents and Settings\User\.android\adb_usb.ini I was using an "o" instead of a"0" for the line "0x16d5".
All better
hard reset

I had pretty much given up on rooting this, and then, for whatever reason, decided to look at this thread...
I've all but given up and then you have to go and make me very happy with it.
Thanks a ton. I've now got the thing rooted and am no longer stuck with only 4gb of internal space, among other things!
Unlocking/Resetting PROSCAN PLT 7233G
Hello,
I am trying to fix a tablet (Proscan PLT 7223 G) for a friend of mine. They bought it off a television network and when they turned it on, it required a passcode (requires letter and/or numbers). I have tried MANY methods, from resestting it through the pinhole in the back of the device. Even trying various programs that can unlock the tablet via PC. I think the main issue is that the tablet's usb debugging setting is not on. And with that not being on, I can't do anything on command prompt. I really need some assistance on unlocking this tablet. I have been trying for days and even searching xda and google for any solutions that may come up. Didn't think this would be an issue but it has now. Would greatly appreciate any ideas or methods to unlocking the tablet OR activating USB debugging via PC command prompt with the tablet's password.
Thanks,
EzE601

Stock TF700 boot loop, can't turn off device.

Back in June, I turned on my TF700 with the dock attached, it started as usual.. I turned on my wifi, opened up my browser to look up plane tickets, then it restarted. I didn't think much of it, and when it loaded up again, I tried to look up tickets again, and it did the same thing. I gave up, closed it and zipped it up in my sleeve. It was a few hours before I got home, and when I took it out of the sleeve, it was quite warm! It was constantly rebooting and there was no way to turn if off. I left it out of the sleeve and let the battery die. I didn't use my tablet for a few days, and when I went to turn it on again, the same thing happened, and has been happening ever since. I have tried to start the tablet while connected to the dock, the wall charger, without the dock, with wifi on, with wifi off, etc. The tablet gets to the lock screen, I unlock it, and I only have about 10 seconds before it freezes and restarts. I am unable to turn off the device, because when I choose "shut down" from the menu, it shows that it's in the process of slowing down, but then the spinning wheel freezes and it vibrates and restarts before it can fully shut itself off. Since I can boot into android, I thought it was something that the tablet is trying to run upon startup that was causing problems. I was able to quickly get to settings and apps, to uninstall several apps, but nothing has helped. I used to have a task manager widget on the home screen, and uninstalled that too.
After doing research into the problem, I found that most people who have boot loop issues or constant restarting, are rooted and are experiencing difficulties with a new ROM. I am 100% stock. I have held down power and volume down. It gives me RCK, Android and Wipe. I have tried cold booting into android, but the same restart loop after 10 seconds occurs. I thought it might have been a bad firmware update that went through unbeknownst to me. So I downloaded the firmware file from ASUS, renamed and flashed it sucessfully. However, no change in the reboot problem. I am running the following version: US-epad-10.6.1.14.8-20130514. I know there's a new version out, but wasn't sure if I should try to flash that yet.
I am willing to try absolutely anything to fix the problem, with the EXCEPTION of wiping data. I know that would be the easy way to go, but I have photos and videos from my best friend's engagement and they are the only copies. If I am able to get my tablet to be stable enough to copy those off, I would then be willing to wipe and have a fresh start. I have tried connecting my tablet to my computer, and it is recognized. After it boots up and I unlock it, then the tablet begins to mount (I'm on windows 8). However, I still only have 10 seconds or so before the tablet restarts, and that's not enough time to even view the folders from the tablet.
It's been 3 months since this started, and I have done lots of research and tried lots of things, but nothing has helped yet. Since I haven't delved too deeply into the dev side of android (I've only rooted my S3) there is lots of android speak that I don't understand fully, or have experience with, like ADB. If someone is willing to offer suggestions on what to try, I am very good at following directions! Thank you for any help or leads you can offer.
Wow - you're in a difficult situation...
You being on stock I can only imagine the bootloop is caused by something you installed.
So if you can access settings and are able to uninstall apps, just keep doing it until you are back to the original stock setup.
Are you sure the files you are trying to save are still on the SD card? Don't know how you flashed 10.6.1.14.8, but flashing a complete firmware package ususally erases /data - although your persisiting bootloop indicates it didn't...... if the bootloop is caused by an app. And I can't imagine what else would cause it.
You could try to do a factory reset in Backup&Restore but you will loose the contents of your /data partition...
You can flash the 10.6.1.14.10 firmware file, but most likely you will also loose your data.
The only way I can think of to replace your bootloader and firmware without data loss is if you try to find a copy of the 10.6.1.14.10 dlpkgfile. That is the OTA update file Asus pushes out to users. It's a patch file, meaning it only replaces/updates new files and leaves everything else alone.
If you find the dlpkgfile on some forum you would have to place it into your /cache directory and reboot - and I don't know if you can copy it to your tablet before it bootloops again.
Unfortunately the reason for your bootloop is probably an app on the same partiton with the data you don't want to loose. Unless you manage to uninstall the culprit I don't see much hope....
Good luck!

Try getting adb access, this should allow us to diagnose the problem you are experiencing.
Tablet side: go to settings, developer options (if it is not visible, tap the build number 7 times), enable USB debugging
Computer side: no idea, they say Windows 8 is a bit tricky to get the drivers installed correctly.
When you have adb running, do "adb pull /proc/last_kmsg" and post the downloaded file - it should contain valuable info about your reboots.

He's bootlooping..... How does he go into settings and turn on USB debugging?
I think the best option maybe to flash a stock Asus ROM from their site but that will wipe all data including those photos......

I have not use this method but you could try.
You need a boot OS tool on your external sd and run it from your external sd so you can access to your internal sd to copy files from there. You can search on the internet and you should find more information on how to use them depending on what boot os you are using.. Good luck.

I was actually able to get usb debugging turned on. It took me quite a few tries, but I did it!
I've never used adb, but here's what I've done so far.. I downloaded the Android SDK and ASUS Pad PC Suite (which contains Asus Sync).
I was able to use the command prompt to navigate to the platform-tools folder and open adb, however when I type in adb devices, it doesn't recognize my device. What steps to do I take from here to be able to use adb to see my device, so I can pull the file to diagnose what's going on? How do I know if I have the right drivers installed so my computer can see my tablet? All I did was install the asus suite. Do I need to do anything further on that end?

What Windows version do you have on your PC?
You can check your drivers in Device Manager. Open it, look for your tablet under Portable Devices and check if the driver has a yellow exclamation mark next to it. You should be able to update/install/uninstall the driver from here.
Try to find out if there is a setting in your Windows version to only allow Microsoft signed drivers and disable it.

[Completed] [Q] Need help with Trio Stealth 7c (LY-F1 clone)

A couple of days ago, I was trying to get Google Play on the tablet so that I can play the games I bought since it is slightly faster and has a larger screen than my phone. After unsuccessfully jumping through various hoops, I went to clockwork it. First, I attempted to make a back-up, but looking back on it, I don't think it worked because I never got any type of confirmation. Then, with the firmware image on the extSD, I started up the clockwork. In the recovery menu, I formatted the data, but the tablet slipped out of my hands and hit the floor, jostling the battery and turning the tablet off.
Now, if I try the vol+ POW button combo, I just get a black screen. My computer understands that something was plugged in, but adb and fastboot can't find the device. If I try just starting it up normally, all it shows is the Android character standing there doing nothing. I have been trying to get this thing back up and running with any type of ROM I could, but nothing seems to locate the device except for Livesuit, but when I select a ROM for it to load, the application stops working and closes out. So I am at a complete loss at what to do.

Man, that's some really bad luck you got there. My sympathies.
However, I was unable to find much support for your device on XDA, and I also think you may have bricked it pretty bad. my advice would be to try a visit to the service centre to get it fixed.
If you want to do it yourself though, visit this thread and see if you can figure it out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android
FIXED!
Thank you thank you thank you! Your reference to search those forums led me to someone fixing their bricked tablet. Since the Trio was so similar to theirs, I tried it as well, and it worked!

Wisky 3G068i 9,7" w8.1bing->w10 fail. Error message, cannot continue. unusable.Urgent
Hey,
I got Wisky 3G068i 9,7" w8.1bing tablet yesterday.
It was reset to factory settings. After getting things going, it worked fine with win8.1 and updated itself. Then asked do I want to update to win 10 and after reading and ppl saying its better(and i dont really like win 8) I updated it throught windows own update screen.
After night of installing it, it was stuck on 95% (took hellish long time) and had error message on it "please install extrenal removable media and press ok" (its in finnish so translation might not be correct but you get the point)
I tried clicking yes, no affect. Then removed card, put it back in and it started to revert itself back to win 8.1 after saying not enough room or some error(cant remember correct anymore).
It reverted approx 8 hours then that error came again and now its stuck on it, it wont do anything.
I tried to create win10 install to micro SD with win10 media creation tool but it wont boot from it. It boots up, wisky logo is seen and then rolls loading dot for while, then flashes some screen like command screen, very fast, I cant read what its doing and the error is back.
What can I do? there must be some way to get to reinstall of windows 8.1bing or win10 but how? I dont know does tablets have bios or how to get to it, or how do even get it to boot up some install media.
Been googling another 8 hour but i just cannot find anything that would help my situation.
How can I force it to boot from microSD or do I need to get some microusb-female usb adapter for usb stick? I have a USB hub and throught it i was able to install the win10 installation to usb stick and microsd but idk does the tablet understand that hub(and read from it the usb stick)
i have years of experience with pc's but with tablets i dont really have any.
Tablet has 3 puttons: power on/off and volume up/down
Since I dont have manual, i dont know how to do any resets on it or anything and seller did not have one and maker is chinese and hasnt answered me.
I found old posts on internet saying ppl did get the win10 to install but none posted how they did it.
tablet has:
2gb ram
16gb harddrive
microSD port where I have 64Gb brand new Kingston class10(it works even it says on specs 32gb is biggest)
3.5mm port and micro HDMI port.
Please any help is useful and Im forever gracious to whomever can help me fix it! heck i even buy you a beer if possible

Problems rescuing a flytouch superpad 7

Hello All.
So the other day I paid a visit to the local skip, as you do, and I found a Flytouch Superpad 7 in its' box, so I took it home.
Plugged it in and it started to boot up, first screen had "Tablet PC powered by...." then the next screen was of the Android Droid with its' arms folded, it usually freezes here. Sometimes it will go onto a screen with "Android" in the centre, but no further.
So I have tried various combination of pressing buttons to no avail. Cannot access a recovery anything.
I took it apart and found it is a Yones Top Tech BC1003, so have been searching and searching for information and roms etc for days.
What I would like to know is, do you think this tablet is saveable?
I have plugged it into my laptop but it doesn't recognise it, but wouldn't the tablet have to boot to be recognised?
I have read thread upon thread, but still do not understand how I could get a rom onto this tablet if it is not recognised by the laptop and it doesn't show a recovery section where I could boot from a SD Card.
Any advice gratefully accepted. Just trying to save something from the landfill.
Just an update to say I managed to get the tablet up and running.
I ended up going to a lot of foreign language website through Google Translate and found some firmware for this board at the Koncaso site. Burned the .img file and put it in the tablet, which now works again.
