If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Format internal through twrp by clicking yes, copy rom internal, flash rom and magisk, reboot and enjoy. Cool for daily use, smooth and fast. No need to flash any kernel. Flash safety patch, and root hide for banking apps
Orange fox recovery also works fine

I really wanted this rom for long and here it is.no major bugs are present.everything is working super smoothly.currently using with mystic kernel.viper4android runs cool...no bugs no slowdowns ... I really want to thank dev for bringing tulip back to life...only bug is cts is false...i truly hope this project will continue for tulip... I also request dev to please add this rom to the official tulip telegram channel.bcz many of users will know who aren't much active in xda..and thank you so much dev..plz keep it up.

I just flashed mystic kernel and got a random reboot, the home button is not working for any of the navigation options now, tried a dirty re flash but no dice. Clean flashing again.
Don't know what's the cause but beware

Yes cam2api is enabled by default.
Weird how u got reboot... Because when i tried it with mystic 6.5 oc had no such issues.

yeah I have no idea what messed it, but happened like 5 min after booting post kernel flash. Nothing brought it back but a clean flash.
The navbar was back, no home and recents working tho. The dark mode didnt work and the notifications stayed at "no notifications" even tho I received them.
prob some weird combination of apps, but I wasn't rooted so again, no ideia lol.
Only problem I had so far with this rom.

This ROM is running pretty good.
Battery life is good and it has a nice feature set.
Only problem I'm facing is that hotspot is not working.

AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LAOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors/bugs to them!!

Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:

A. Go to Aicp Extras/Navigation bar, and enable it.
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. I keep losing root with Magisk, how do I fix it?
A. Check this out. If that doesn't work for you, ask for help in this thread, read or ask in the Magisk thread on XDA or just re-flash Magisk!
Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?

Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the others section in the AICP Extras main page.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Oreo. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (Try RedWolf from here).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
6. Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
7. Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the deivce, some devices need you to flash it every time.

Thanks, but the logs aren't complete. Please get a dmesg (not kmsg) either with Kernel Adiutor or with the terminal command: `dmesg > /sdcard/dmesg.txt`, right after booting..

wiping system/vendor will end up requiring msmtool to restore phone as it will lock the bootloader with no system installed

this doesnt say anyhitng about the 5g version but yes he added support in kernel for it but might be device side things needed.
and my bad just made the thread not long ago forgot to add him but i added him to thanks section. even though source is linked and can tell its based off his, not like i intentionally left him out.

DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Did you flashed the Magisk after GApps? If not then Flash it.

On the screenshots you see Google Play Services running, so Gapps are working obviously.
Pretty surely something on your end (also cause noone else complained about this issue before).
Might be the flashing order as one usually flashes Gapps along with the ROM before the first bootup, and from what you describe, I think you booted the ROM without Gapps first.
I would recommend a clean install and try the usual way.
For myself - I'm on vacation and didn't have the time or internet connection to flash this myself, but I will certainly try by the time I got home.
Looks very promising!

People have reported this on telegram channel that if you flash GApps and reboot to system without flashing Magisk then it will bootloops and OP also knows. ROM boots fine w/o GApps & w/o Magisk so I think it's known issue...I'm sure OP will resolve this in future updates..

This ROM is really nice. Best ROM For MI A2. battery backup is insane. Almost got 10Hours SOT on WiFi and normal usage.

i flashed this rom initially coming from MIUI 11 on redmi note 7 pro via twrp 3.3.1, flashing was successful and when i press reboot system. bliss boot logo appear for a second and then the device rebooted to recovery. and now i am stuck in recovery. please help.

i managed to solve this problem when rebooted to recovery i make format data and was successfully booted but now i am facing another problem as after successful boot when i am trying to flash magisk via twrp its showing wierd folders in sdcard...i searched everywhere but no solution.
but i think this is off topic and may be you guys will not help me in this here.
by the way thanks for this awesome rom, will share log if found any bug.

formate data nd wipe everything
flash the rom nd magisk optional then flash fencrypt disabler zip and reboot...all of your problem will be solved.

Use latest ofox recovery it will solve your all problems

overwrote my recovery (i was on twrp 3.3.1-6 or something peter) to a recovery which doesn't even let me install another rom because all it does is say "failed to mount 'x'" x being system, sdcard, everything really.
not sure if this is an intended effect or something broke on my part, but i had to find a way back and to some other rom (i tried minimaladb fastboot flashing peter recovery, didn't work, i decided to try platformtools fastboot flashing no verity verification vbmeta, and then recovery again, got to boot into recovery and quickly escaped this rom.)
from a features perspective this rom had mostly everything i need, except a navigation bar which i couldn't even enable, which i do use because its the best way into mutli window, which i heavily use.
but having a broken recovery freaked me out

Rom is awesome everything works flawlessly just one issue volume is very dim in speakers YouTube and in pubg I tried it with audio mod present in the rom for few minutes it works but then it suddenly drops to low levels else very good rom camera better than anx or miui camera didn't use any Goole cam mod on this using saturation and colour is very puncy feels like amoled magisk works fine

no volte on indonesian mobile operator..

First check wether your carrier supports volte or not .......... If yes give me your apn setting screenshots which should contain mcc and mnc values

I saw few videos and seems it has many customizations though I'm currently using Derpfest rom and earlier was on Havoc (which was my fav rom)
Hows the battery life on this one? Right now on derpfest I'm getting a smooth exp.
Last thing, does it have lawnchair as default launcher?
And hows the attitude of the developer? Currently having not so good exp. with derpfest and havoc devs.
Will flash it this weekend...

Orangefox will be better.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
Have an unlocked bootloader, and TWRP installed/booted
(Not gonna be explained here, there'll be threads in this forum somewhere)
Wipe data and cache (don't report anything bugs if you dirty flashed over another ROM)
Flash the Latest FW, ROM, Magisk, or any other mods (again, don't report bugs if you can't reproduce them with just ROM and GApps)

for me this the best, battery life really good

Hello! For some reason on the initial setup i get an "android setup keeps failing" and so i cant do anything, do you know any reason for that? I mean, i way to fix it. I know its not rom issue because this happens to me on almost every rom, but maybe one of you knows how to fix it. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, i tried that but got the same results, this happens to me with any rom without gapps, but for some reason if i try any rom with gapps included just works fine. To me seems like i have some permissions issues but im not sure tbh, i dont know i need some specific gapps or something, tried pico and nano, also tried diferent months versions but... No luck. Any sugestions will be very helpful

This is surely a Gapps issue, you can try different packages like BitGapps, FlameGapps and so on.

Yeah, i tried that but got the same results, this happens to me with any rom without gapps, but for some reason if i try any rom with gapps included just works fine. To me seems like i have some permissions issues but im not sure tbh, i dont know i need some specific gapps or something, tried pico and nano, also tried diferent months versions but... No luck. Any sugestions will be very helpful

Uh, did you try to flash gapps over aosip ?
The gapps are already included

I had the same idea but also tried both with no luck, its weird but for now looks like the only rom that works for me its the PE Plus ButterySmooth. I even tried flashing any rom without gapps but still the same problem, i think its because for some reason the initial setup cant get storage permissions but i dont know why it works on that rom but not on others, i really dont know what im doing wrong, i just want to try other roms

Yeah, i noticed that, so i didnt the first time but got the same problem, so then i tried flashing gapps just to see if something changed but nope
