Experiencing strange behaviour on Redmi Note 7 Pro
1. Jio SIM inserted in any SIM slot
2. Outgoing fine to any operator works
3. Incoming from all operator works except Jio
4. Took this SIM out and inserted in another phone, no issues in incoming and outgoing from all operators including Jio, before that even got the Jio SIM replaced in new Jio SIM in between!
5. Found that any Jio SIM has same behaviour on this Redmi Note 7 Pro.
5. Am on latest MIUI 11 stock, this issue faced ok n MIUI 10 too.
Any suggestions ?
maybe problem with your phone. my 2 note 7 pros have no problem with jio of any type
The storage behaviour is when someone with Jio calls my Jio, his/her call just ends,spoke to Jio customer care and they said check if incoming is blocked on my device which isn't. May be phone itself is faulty.

Hi, i am using Le 1s. Using Idea sim in slot one and jio in slot two. when jio sim mobile data is on, incoming call to slot one, idea is not reachable ie. busy/not reachable/switched off tone is coming to the dialer. i even changed the sims to vise versa, but the same is happening........Anybody having solution for that?

i.e. you get busy tone for which slot.
like if Data is on for Sim 1 then sim 2 is busy/unreachable. That is you telling.
Cause in Leeco 1s Jio will not work in Sim 2 Slot. Cause its GSM not VOLTE.
Solution: Go to phones default dial pad and press #*#*3646633#*#* i.e. *#*#engmode#*#* in that Telephony>Mobile data service preferred and uncheck the box. Now restart the phone and check.
Do let me know if you need more help.

Mine is already unchecked. But still not working. this is what i need to get done (BTW i am on AOKSP 7.1 ROM) :
SIM 1 - JIO sim
SIM 2 - Vodafone
Data on JIO
Calls & SMS on Vodafone
With both SIM's in & Data set to JIO, i get LTE on JIO (SIM 1) & i whatever i set Vodafone(SIM2) on -2G, 3G,4G, i dont get network on SIM 2.

I have a question please I have HUAWEI HONOR 6x (BLN-L21) EMUI 5.0.1 with dual Sim option and rooted but with android 7 (Nougat) it doesn't work. I have 2 Sim cards from different carrier with android 5 and 6 it was working fine . but andoind 7 (Nougat) if I am on call the 2and Sim won't take the call will go straight to voicemail or offline. Is there is way I can have both Some cards work @ the sametime? Also something happened with call recording with android 7 nougat Thank you in advance.
It works by default. If you are in call on one sim, you will get notified for call on othet sim during call.
Did you find a solution to this? Whichever sim is selected as the 4G/Data sim is the only one that works- the other has an 'x' on the signal bar. Android 7.

Happening all the time or only when the call is received on one sim?
Happening all the time. I tried swapping the physical cards and same effect. I'm only getting getting a network signal (data or otherwise) on whichever sim is selected for 4g/data.

I flashed the Canada multi-csc on my G955FD hoping to get LTE while on the phone (VoLTE)
However when I make a call with Sim #1 (TELUS) I have no LTE.
When making a call with Sim #2 (Bell), I do have LTE.
I have my Calls set to SIM 1, i have Texts set to SIM 1, and Mobile Data to SIM 2
When i reboot the phone a popup appears that asks which number i want to use as my primary for apps, and i always choose my TELUS number. I assume this is asking for things such as Whatsapp and how it maps to your cell number?
Anyone know what's wrong?
Is it possible that the Multi CSC is not adding TELUS's details properly?
Or can i simply only have VoLTE with one SIM and not both?
EDIT: Through testing i confirmed that whichever SIM is set to Data will be the only SIM that you can make VoLTE calls on.

You are correct; only the SIM set as Data will be able to operate in VoLTE mode.
Samsung has added Dual LTE to S9/S9+ variants with recent update though, so both SIM can operate in VoLTE mode simultaneously (irrespective of Data SIM selection). You can only hope that Samsung brings the same feature to S8/S8+ too; it depends upon hw support.
S8/S8+ hardware is not capable of Dual VoLTE. So it will never arrive.
The note 5 pro from Xiaomi supports dhak volte after a software update a d I know that because I did it on a 6gb 64 gb model a few hours ago. I think the s8,s8+ and note 8 surely have better hardware than Xiaomi note 5 pro right?
When the phone arrived, Miui had 11 systems on it. When you switch on for the first time, the VoWifi signal also appears next to the Telecom card. Then he immediately upgraded himself to Miui 12, there has been no VoWifi since. The switch (both VoLTE and VoWifi) is visible in the settings menu, but there is no VoWifi connection. You can also see in the call list that you are only making or receiving a VoLTE call. Has anyone else experienced this, or do I just have such "luck"?
Have you turn it on?
Sim cards & mobile networks -> Choose your sim card -> Tick on Make calls using Wi-Fi.
Maybe they removed your provider's profile. Vowifi also does not work in Telekom Hungary. I can switch on the vowifi in the menu but does not work. But someone reported it works on another operator, Digi. Also you may ask your operator not to deny vowifi in some reason after the software update.
My previous phone (MI 9SE) also had Android 10 and MIUI 12, this Telekom SIM worked. VOWIFI appeared in the status bar and there was a WIFI CALL note in the call list in addition to the calls.
WIFI appeared on the lock screen instead of Telekom.
Interestingly, both phones have Global (non-EU) ROMs.
It depends more likely whether the provider's profile exists in the firmware or not, and not likely depends on the Android version.

Hi guy. On my note 20 ultra, sim1 stopped working. I thought was network issues but it wasn't. When I put on sim slot 2 it works, when I change sims around sim 1 won't register to a network. If I activate wifi calling, I can make calls from that sim. I have even check status of my imei, and is not blacklisted. (I have wiped cache partition, I have reset network settings, I have rebooted, I have deactivated Sim tray and reactivated again) have anyone experienced this issue?

I think im having this same issue on my n20u u1 version. just started yesterday.
