Hey people! I've been trying to find out if there is a way to use fingerprint but stay in the lockscreen but I didn't find any answer.
What I would like to be able to do is to unlock content of notifications from lockscreen without going to home screen, kind of how face recognition works.
Has anyone ever tried this? Is there any module or adb command that would make this possible?
Thanks in advance.
Ps. Im using a Pixel 3 running Android 10

The fingerprint unlock is not working when swiping left/right and directly launching to an app from lock screen even though the instruction itself says to 'Use fingerprint or unlock code'. Anybody else experiencing this?
PS: Sorry if this issue had already addressed. Searched & can't find the issue. If incase I missed, a link would be appreciated.
I am embarrased to ask this question 'cos I have been looking around the threads for a big while but couldn't find one. The interim solution is Nova launcher double tap function. Please kindly advise.
Note: My phone is running on Oreo.
Thanks!
This should be your ticket. Haven't tested myself since I got an S8 but worked on my previous phone.

Thank you! How about touch the fingerprint scanner to sleep without rooting, is it possible?
I've searched all around but I haven't seen anyone say anything about changing the lockscreen camera from the default one to gcam. In addition to the lockscreen, I was wondering if it's also possible with the double click shortcut. It works right now if my phone is unlocked, but if I try to do it while my phone is locked, it automatically sets it back to the OnePlus camera. This seems like something we could come up with a solution for if there isn't already one.

did you tried to disable OnePlus camera app?
I have a rooted Indian version of OnePlus 8T.
Everytime I try to change my device props to Pixel props via directly flashing the pixel props file or using "Magisk Hide Props" module - the display brightness breaks.
While the lock screen is still okay and the brightness behaves normally but as soon as you unlock the phone it goes too dim. Sliding the brightness panel doesn't do anything and neither does disabling adaptive brightness. I've stumbled across months old posts about someone having the same issue with Oneplus 8 Pro but didn't find any solution there either.
Please, anyone let me know if you can somehow get around those problems?
Thank you!
Hi,
Did you find any solution. It seems that it breaks the highest available brightness on the device . I am not sure how to enable that
Hey,
Does anyone got a chance to have a fix for this? I have the same issue with a oneplus 8, and i can't find any solution yet..
Removing the "system.props" from the module breaks the feature of the module

I actually do have a *partial* solution to this. If you were changing the fingerprint to enable call screening or call recording in Google Phone, then the solution is to use Google Dialer Mod instead. It's a root app that has toggles which literally allow you to turn on Call Screening, Call Recording, and pretty much any other Google Phone feature you'd want to enable. No fingerprinting necessary. If you were trying to get other pixel mods, unfortunatley I have no answer to that.
Hey guys! I'm about to get myself one of these awesome phones, but I was wondering if there was a way to setup the unlock process to use the fingerprint sensor, but then have the lock screen hide the contents of any notifications unless it recognises your face. I believe a similar feature exists in iPhone, and I thought it was really cool, so might as well ask
Yes, this is possible. Just set up Face Unlock and hide notification until unlocked.
