lol, in fact I did.
different sites have conflicting information and I even contacted OnePlus on their FB and have not received a response yet.
the only related post I could find on XDA is this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79547609&postcount=16
any help is appreciated.
thanks.
ps. it is interesting that the 6T lists this band 40, but not the 7Pro or 7T.

One of life's great mysteries. No one except possibly 2 Honor people know the exact answer to that question.
Close this thread. There's an Oreo discussion thread already.
We dont even know if Honor Canada/US wants to release Android/EMUI 8 onto Honor 8 so we have no details

I'm tired of people complaining so much about this. This forum isn't that active anyway, is one new thread destroying it? U guys overreact, it's not a big deal.

Masum sorry to say in some area you will not able to get 4G signal of GP,Airtel/Robi due to they use B8(900) band LTE in some area .. But most of the area you will get 4G signal of B3(1800).

It's actually not that bad considering he's shipping it from the US and it's the Global version which is more expensive then the Chinese version and it's less of a risk than buying from a Chinese website that you don't know.

Sorry if i caused a confusion. This unit is a beta prototype for testing/developer set and hence it is not locked. The actual commercial set will be locked.
Just fiddling around with this beast myself.

SM-N986U Bootloader

Does anyone know how to unlock the bootloader? Or does anyone have the source to root a galaxy note 20 ultra (snapdragon)? I've seen the link saying why someone did it but it doesn't explain how they did it, or where. I understand i might have to pay but honestly it's worth it.

Currently, the only way is via that method. It's done through an unlocking method that only they're able to do. Otherwise, it would have been discussed by now

You've got to search around for it, it's not really meant to be posted or talked about since it's a paid service and XDA isn't really about paid services...

SamPWND unlocks bootloader on Snapdragon GalaxySamPWND is a paid service that (remotely) helps you unlock the bootloader on Snapdragon Galaxy devices sold in the USA and Canada. This service is provided by XDA Recognized Developer and long-time community member elliwigy. He first announced this service over at XDA in December 2020.
He is the same developer who found an exploit that led to root solutions for various Snapdragon devices including Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9/S9+, and Galaxy Note 9.
Here’s the old direct link to SamPWND’s official website: https://www.sampwnd.com/... but unfortunately the site is down.
You can contact elliwigy here though and ask.
