Amazon is having an early Black Friday sale.
Would you guys return the $459 dollar one delivered this last Friday and then buy the $80 cheaper one?
I asked Amazon if they would credit me the difference. They said they don't honor a lower price after purchase.
What would you do?
Best Buy also has them at $379 and yeah, I would definitely return it if you can and get one for $80 less.
Picked up mu 3axl from Amazon coming from a OP6. Gotta say I dig it, the wife has a 3A.
Paid $380 then used the $60 AZ credit by opening an AZ card which I'll pay off when the bill comes.
Just picked up open box new 3a xl on ebay for $310... arrives end of week.... cant wait

Probably through amazon or wirefly. If you go wirefly, through bank of america, you can get 50 bucks back when you buy a smartphone through there add it up program.
Anyone heard of or expecting big red to put the thunderbolt on sale for 4'th of July? I recall verizon having a sale on memorial day sale & also remember Amazon having the thunderbolt for $129.00 with free shipping.
If I can get into a thunderbolt this weekend for $150.00 or less, I'll jump on it.
If so, do you think they'll honor the discount for new customers who are still within the 14 day cancellation period? I just got my TB and VZ service on monday.
I got my Thunderbolt from Amazon Wireless last week for $129 (I was on Tmobile without a contract).
Aaargh, right now it is $99 for new subs!

If so, then yes. If the first rep you speak to says no, then ask for a manager (not a "supervisor') and they'll most likely give you even more of a discount for yor troubles.
^Same question as this guy, I got mine yesterday
FWIW, since I noticed that Amazon Wireless went down to $99 for the Tbolt, I called them and politely asked for the difference, since i just got the phone and "am still within my return period."
I had a very helpful and cute sounding CSR, and she actually refunded the $30 difference! w00t! Thanks, Amazon!
This definitely improves the old customer satisfaction rating.

I actually was about to order my TBolt from Amazon last week (New Customer Switching Over From At&t) until I decided to drive around to a couple of stores and see if I could get the same pricing as Amazon so I wouldn't have to wait for shipping (Patience Is Not My Virtue....). After going to a couple of stores and being told that they would not budge from the $250.00 price I gave up and went to the Mall with the wife. I came across a Best Buy Mobile store and decided to give it one last try....
I told the guy that Amazon was offering me the phone for $130.00 with free shipping and after he spoke to his manager he came back and told me he couldn't do the $130.00 price but that he could give me the phone for $150.00 with one month of black tie protection, the buy back program and a car charger or case (me and my wife both picked the case). We immediately said yes and had our TBoltz rigth there and then.
FYI:
After closely looking at the receipt I noticed that what they did was give me the phone for $100.00 bucks and then sell me the buy back program and the one month of black tie protection. The case was a complete freebie seeing that it cost 30 bucks (Platinum Best Buy Case). Total cost in the end for the phone was like $140.00 bucks....

£600. I wouldn't pay that but I can see the appeal of such a device.
May as well release a Galaxy PhoneTab 7" and get a man-bag
holy frak! Expansys-USA has the Note for 934.99!
Man, I'm not sure if I want to spend almost a 1k for a phone. Though, I rem I said the same thing when I bought the SGS2 when it first came out at $700 shipped. Still 1K is a lot of clams, I might have to wait until AT&T's version.
I figured as much but I guess I was just hoping it would be around 700-800.

So I should be able to order one of these up from Clove/Expansys, and plug and play on AT&T here in the states, correct? Anything else that is required to get this phone working Nov. 1st in the US?
Why on Samsung and Clove site there is no word about gyroscope, OTG, MHL , Cpu type?
I know for sure that it will not have NFC chip.
I hope that it will not be an downgrade in funcitonality over SGS2 because i really whant to preorder it.
EDIT: i saw a nice youtube video and just found that it has OTG ans MHL.
Still not sure about gyroscope.

This is a good site for comparing devices:

btw don't fall in the clove cheap and unethical tactics
Samsung announced earlier that the price will be 550€/pounds, but clove is greedy and want to earn more money, so they use their reputation to make a ultra high price that they know that are not real, then few days later magically the price drop but not at the level of other retailers, more than 30 pounds extra. Then the consumer see the high price compared to the samsung announced and other retailers as cheap and buy it.
seriously, clove go fck yourself, hope you don't sell anything.

Can you point to the site showing the official Samsung Galaxy Note price and the price of other retailers selling cheaper than the official price and Clove for that would be helpful?

Mobile City Online: Our Price:$699.99
Clove.co.uk: £495.00/$789.336
Doesn't take into account shipping/local taxes.
Does anyone realise that note has pressure sensitive screen, not capacitive one? Unless they have improved A LOT over the last few years its a big no no for me.

You are wrong. The screen is capacitive and the stylus is capacitive with pressure sensitive too.
We have everything on this phone.

I realize that the 64Gb version is $349. But, it has to be shipped from China , go thru US customs, applicable sales tax in Masachusettes.
SO
Shipping cost = ?
Custom duty cost = ?
Massachusettes tax = ?
I had, couple of years ago, bought a phone from Canada and when the USPS was delivering it to my door, I had to pay an additional $33 immediately (I assume Massachusettes taxes and or Customs-I don't remember which)
So I take the 349, add a shipping cost (I am guessing) of $15:00, plus Custom duty/Massachusettes sales tax of about $33:00 will bring the real cost to my door of approximately $400 and change. So the real cost to me will be approximately $400 give n take. It is still a good idea but real numbers mean more than just a listed number.
Any one out there that has received their Oneplus in the USA, what were those other costs?
Thanks in advance.
I can't really answer your question, but for me in Germany/EU there were no extra costs.
300€ + 5€ express shipping + a few € for a screen protector.
A user asked the OP support for the costs and they replied:
Thanks for contacting us. The price for the phone itself (64GB) is USD349, plus shipping fee of $16 for standard and $19 for express, hence the total cost will be around $365-370. The tax is included in the price.

There now is an additional 'sign on deliver' cost of 2.35$.

First off, the phone is not shipped from China. It is shipped from Anaheim California. The tax is included in the $349. Shipping is $14 now I believe, when I paid it was $360 in total and delivered via 2 day usps to new York.

That explains why I got my OnePlus One so damn fast I live near Anaheim lol Anyway, the standard shipping was $10 and $350 for the phone, I didn't pay a penny over $360.
oki doki, the shipping sounds reasonable and I like it. Thanks all for your responses.

The shipping varies depending on where it's going within the United States. I've bought two, I'll list their shipping locations below along with their price.
New Lenox, IL - $11.99
Minden, NV - $10.34

Cost of 64gb one delivered
i live in fall river,ma just bought the one last week. the cost delivered was 363 and change. no hidden costs charged by the post office lol. they ship here in the us through usps.:good:
I ordered mine tody and I live in Bakersfield Ca. it's about two and a half hours from Anaheim. I wonder how long it will be for me?
It actually had both Frontier and Classic but by the time I ordered the Frontier myself and confirmed the offer, it had gone out of stock. Still the Classic is 50€ off.
Now waiting for mine to arrive. I haven't been this intrigued by new tech since when my first TH55 (PalmOS)
ps. Can't provide link but fairly easy to locate on amazon.es
If they had they don't now. In fact they are selling it at 399.00€ also 450.78€. Remember Amazon.es is partly just a site that has the vast majority of its goods sent from other Amazon warehouses dotted around Europe, very little actually ships from Spain.
Amazon warehouses in Europe appear to be out of stock no matter where you try and order. I had mine on pre order from Germany from early September and received it Saturday. It was shipped from Amazon.it!
Amazon.de have never shown the item as being in stock?
Ryland.
I just checked; Classic is available for 399€ and the -50€ is still valid, (check the bottom which says "Olvídate de tu viejo reloj y cambia a Gear S3: 50€ de dto. hasta el 15 de diciembre que verás aplicados en el momento de compra. Sólo aplicable a producto vendido y enviado por Amazon").
It also had the Frontier available, which I bought on Nov, 30th and just shipped today. But now, indeed, is out of stock.
/link not going through but can provide screenshot if requested
I bought mine (frontier), 2 weeks ago from amazon spain (really from amazon), but did not get any 50 euros discount. It was 399 euros.
