No, you must install before twrp version 3+ for flashing the rom and the bootloader of the device must be unlocked.

Depends on your current setup, bl/cp, whether you need root and etc. So, we cant answer this question. Overall, basic installation steps are written in OP.

Something to be added to the OP is the recomended recovery link if you have the opportunity to do so.
I am still on a touch wiz Rom, I assume I should do a full wipe of the phone (including internal storage)?
Twrp2.8.xx will not work, must use latest twrp 3x ?

Always clean flash before flashing any new ROM. That is not optional. And no. Clean flash doesn't include wiping internal or external storage. You can optionally wile internal/android and external/android folders. But that is also not a must since those folders are being overwritten

Because you are clicking to download "ROUNDED CORNERS APK". You should not. There is HavocOS ROM link on the download link. Click that and then "download anyway". Please do read what link you are clicking. It is sometimes vital and we will not be held responsible if you do something bad to your device.

Fix the internet problem soon plzzz when I reboot my phone internet not workss then I tried again and again it not works and tell me custom kernel to get maximum battery life

internet works for me, maybe you need to change the APN.
Battery is good, but now im trying the blu_sched for better battery, ill report soon.
also, animation smooth, kinda stuttery when slow scroll.

So far, so smooth. WIll be reporting bugs if I encounter soon. Thanks for the ROM and cheers

Very good optimized rom.

ROM is very smooth, inCall Volume is low and mic volume is also low, other person not able to listen voice clearly.

After reboot Volte is not working....
Enhanced calling option is not there after reboot.
That's why when anybody calls, only caller heats ring,
Nothing shows up on my side, no ringtone not even that I am getting some call.

i tried it for 24 hours using blu_schedutil gov.
battery is good (2hours watching movies only drain 12% with full brightness)
animation smooth as hell !! ?
bug (maybe), edge gesture for navigation makes the touch sensor stops for a moment, and also laggy.
i dont know about VOLTE, i dont use that.

Yeah, I love this rom.
And not even I use Volte.
But when I reboot my phone, Enhanced calling option gets removed.
And when I called on my number from another number.
It doesn't shot that I am getting call.
Please try.
And suggest me how to fix that.

A bit laggy bro,like app opening and closing animations,otherwise everything well done and likeable.If some speed improvements could be made,that would make this rom perfect.Thanks for great rom

Latest update is dam smooth, no fc's and data working perfect, just cant get the trusted face working, plz solve that in next update

Waiting for a stable version.

Good to see someone pick up Havoc to port it over. Been using Havoc GSI for over a month but moved over to AOSiP yesterday, now that most of the issues have been ironed out. I prefer Havoc, so it would be good to see a dedicated ROM get to a similar level as AOSiP. Looking at the people helping you with this, it shouldn't be too long to get it stable and good enough for daily use.

I like havoc os, running it on galaxy s5

I've used almost all custom roms and based on the experience I can say Havoc is best. Just wish to get fixed all bugs ASAP

I literally determine which phones I buy depending on whether they have havoc OS for it or not.
If there is a havoc OS available for a particular phone I consider buying it if no havoc OS well not gonna even bat an eye at it. Now that I've tried havoc I can't go back to stock or any other rom ??

Does this ROM support OTA updates? When new versions are released, will I get it as OTA or will I have to install it using recovery mode?

No, just dirty flash.

Bootloop after clean install on encrypted phone.

When asked password to decrypt the first time (secure startup), it just bootloop without giving a chance to enter password.

Can confirm dirty flashing off of Havoc OS 3.12 works. Flash Nikgaps and the ROM and you should be good to go.
No real bugs to reported.
It generally needs to be optimized a bit more because it's not as smooth and efficient as previous releases, but it's to be expected since this ROM is still in it's infancy.

Can someone tell about any bugs? I am on v3.12 and was thinking to switch.

Hi,
Thanks for the great custom rom, it has been my daily driver for the past few months. The thing is I have a Redmi 6 pro (sakura_india) with Orange Fox custom recovery (R11), Havoc OS 3.11 and a custom kernel (Nitrogen Kernel r3) installed. My question is how am I supposed to update to this version without losing my apps and data? Should I do a dirty flash or a clean flash?

Hi, I installed Havoc OS two days ago on my Redmi 6 pro and I've had the same problem. Mobile switches off randomly and has to be booted up again. Occurred around 8 times since installation. Have you found any fix?

But there are some bug that I don't like
1. Screen flash randomly anywhere when scrolling or opening recents (may be problem with shady launcher).
2. High ram usage. (That's why I swapped to custom rom from stock miui)
3. No other known issue
Note: I've not any screenblackout issue

About the high ram usage. You should not care, unless your ram goes to maximum like 99%
If u have like 500mb free ram then its ok too, kernel will handle stuff. Also you can try to increase zram to 1.6gb, it helps too(dont use fkm or something to increase zram. Tell me here if u want to know I will send u the process to increase)
