Bugs:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Really amazing ROM!
No bugs whatsoever, no lags, fast, good battery, not bloated, just enough and (for me) the most important customization.
Latest gcam7 mods are working.
Can't ask for more.

Great rom, the best for me so far, fast and fluid.
The only small drawback is that the lock screen cannot prevent it from rotating if I enable the screen to rotate automatically.

In the last build webview I know that trying to install but not installed. I had to download and install it manually.
The lock screen impossible to prevent it from rotating. I have to disable automatic rotation in quick settings so that it doesn't.
Otherwise the rom is great, very fast.
will it become official?

Okay, thank you. I think I just have to figure out what value is responsible and raise it a little. Should be feasible. I'll take a look at it. That rotation on lockscreen thingy should be fixed in source now btw.

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the next build coming?
I can't give precise information about the next build. I try to do a new build each time there is a significant change in the ROM's sources (bugfixes, new features...), but keep in mind that I can only do this on my personal computer for now, and that I also do it on my free time. So please be patient!
Will you fix this bug?
Unfortunately, I'm not the person in charge of fixing the ROM's flaws internally. We have to wait until the bug is fixed in the upstream sources (either CyanogenMod, or the ROM developers of the one in this thread), and that I do a new build.
Will a Nougat version of this ROM be available?
I hope so! Again, this depends CyanogenMod 14 ever comes to our device, and if the ROM developers carry on to this version too. I can't say for sure, but if it is possible, it will be done.
About the HTC One M7 ROM Building Project by Siphonay
As an effort to keep our device alive, I'm trying to build the various existing CM flavors not already officially or unofficially available for it to keep its ecosystem varied, and provide its user a wide range of choice for their device.
If you like this ROM, you should definitely check out the other builds of this project!

That's wierd, does it do the same on other MM ROMs like ResurrectionRemix or Slim6? I never heard of that problem, and didn't experience it myself. Are you using Xposed?
Please try to provide me a logcat of when you are stuck on the boot animation.

hello that such I returned to happen what happened to me before you leave the log aki I've taken in recovery
Same request as in TipsyOS, can you please add DT2W feature? I use it all the time on XenonHD LP/MM roms.
Thanks!
Mate, I got to say... from all your builds, this is the most stable. A bit early to say, but for two days, no reboots, BT streaming to my car stereo working good, GPS working as it should. The only problem I faced at the beginning was the WiFi disconnection. I sort of fixed it by flashing Xenon HD's boot.img from the latest ROM. Now no WIFI disconnections and I also have stable performance playing Clash Royale, which it was constantly crashing in other MM ROMs, including your PAC one.
AOSP-OMS + Xenon HD's Boot.img = WIN!
Let's see how it goes during the weekend.
Cheers!
Thanks for the tip Acogu!
Can you check if DT2W works with Xenon's kernel?
I think the problem is to use the substratum

I'm having only Sweep to wake/sleep under the Wake menu. On the Xenon ROM file's name it says S2W so don't know if that version only has that feature.
Maybe you can check with the previous release.
?

So is it working? Is it more stable/faster than xenonHD?
I actually just flashed it now, having some issues, but will give it a day or so and see how it is.
DT2W is enabled and works (after flashing the boot.img from Xenon). Still need to test everything (GPS, bT, etc...).

Do you have a "cannot install app" error? Does the app crash when you launch it?

If it's just safetynet, then it is a known issue.
Sultanxda found a workaround for that.
It was on the front page of xda recently.

It works perfect!
Tested GPS, BT audio streaming, BT phone, DT2W works out-of-the-box when you flash Xenon's kernel, Substratum works great, great job!
DND with alarm worked great.
I've never had any stability issues with Xenon (used LP though, not MM, didn't like the MM build, had a few annoying bugs).
Going to see how battery life is in the next few days.
Not sure if this can be fixed, but the BT volume resets to MAX every time I'm connecting to the car, and the music is blasting On LP it would remember the last BT volume.
in google play, it displays the app is not compatible with my device. I can't install it to my phone.

That's not the ROM's fault, then. If I recall right it won't install on rooted systems, unless you got the .apk and a workaround to make it work. I can't help much with that, sorry.

Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. BUGS:
I've been using Carbon Oreo for months now, and I've faced no issues. If you face any issues, please report them in as much detail as possible, preferably with a logcat and/or instructions to reproduce it.
CHANGELOGS:
You can visit https://blog.carbonrom.org/changelog to view the changelog.
FAQs (Please read before posting questions):
Q: What firmware do I need to be on?
A: Oxygen OS Open Beta 35 (OnePlus 3) / Open Beta 26 (OnePlus 3T). This answer will be updated as and when needed. Links can be found by simply googling for them.
Q: Does the ROM support OMS and theming with Substratum?
A: Yes it does! Simply enable "Allow untrusted overlays" from Settings -> CarbonFibers -> Privacy and Security and follow the instructions that follow.
Q: Does the ROM work on both the OP3 and OP3T?
A: Since the thread is in the unified development subforum, yes it does.
Q: Is the ROM rooted by default?
A: No, please flash your favorite root solution after installing the ROM.
Q: Is the camera good?
A: The ROM uses the device tree from Lineage OS. Expect similar quality. Feel free to install the Google Camera port for the best pictures from your camera. You do not have to install the front cam HDR fix Magisk module with Carbon.
Q: Do I need to make a factory reset before installing this ROM?
A: If you're moving from cr-5.1 official builds to cr-6.1 builds, then a factory reset is recommended. Some have been able to dirty flash their way from cr-5.1 to cr-6.1, but before trying that, make sure you have a backup, in case you're caught in a bootloop. Clean install is ALWAYS recommended. If you face any issues after dirty flashing, clean flash first and see if it's persistent and only then report the bug.
Q: VOLTE?
A: Untested, but should work.
Q: SafetyNet?
A: Sure, if you use Magisk and enable Magisk hide.

@drakonizer Flashed the rom, everything is perfect. Just few things i would like to point out:
1. Settings -> Network & Internet -> Mobile Network -> getting com.android.phone has stopped when clicked on Advanced
2. Alert Slider has very limited options, missing options like ring, vibrate etc.
3. Camera over exposes pics
Awesome! Been eagerly awaiting this for some time! Downloading now and will report back with status. ?

Thanks for the video, I could successfully reproduce the bug. Unfortunately this seems like an AOSP issue, considering even the Pixel 2 is affected. I'm afraid we're gonna have to wait for Google on this one.

Thank you for this new ROM!
Could you give a short summary of how it differs from AOSiP?
(I hope it's not buried in the OP and I read over it [emoji6])

No it isn't in the OP, because the OP has got to comply with AOSiP's thread format. Well, Derpfest focuses on merging the stability of AOSiP with the exact customisations as per a user needs. Tbh, I personally feel using it is beautiful, because it isn't bloated with unnecessary additions, and it looks very very amazing.

Gladly, yes. Maybe today itself if I get time.
And another question I have: can I dirty flash over the latest AOSiP build?
Best rom!
It doesn't set (or bind) any custom app in navigation buttons settings. Custom actions work fine though.
Can anyone check this?) thnx!

I'd report this issue and maybe the devs would fix it. Thanks for notifying
Hello Mr czynot thanks for your new rom.since both crdroid and aosip derfest is your build so I just want to ask a question which ROM is more smoother and has faster app lunching speed. Which builds of your ROM should I use.
Bugs I encountered:
1) Location only shows GPS Only. And when I click on Battery Savings on Location it turns it off. Clicking High Accuracy doesn't work.
2) Recents Icon Pack doesn't apply on Pie Recents

Thanks for this Safiqul. So look, use crDroid if you need less customisations and use Derpfest if you need more customisations. I can't particularly select between these ?

I've reported this initially in the AOSIP official thread but didn't see it get any attention
Is Anyone facing problem with charging? I switched to derpfest yesterday and I noticed today that my phone is getting charged till 80% then charging would stop. It would discharge till 70% and then resumes charging. I tried callibrating the battery but it wasn't helpful(maybe because the phone was not charged till 100%) Can anyone suggest something regarding this. Thank you very much in advance.

DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel, Xposed, or any external mods
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Here's some screenshots, sorry can't post it all since it would be too much.
About fingerprint; on me, it quite fast just like any other aosp-based rom.

Amazing rom, it has everything I need to be a daily driver! But the FOD isn't working for some reason and the brightness is overall kinda finicky, is it a bug or just me? And can you please link the wallpaper that you're using?

Yes, the auto brightness is kinda sucks for now (still can't find the right solution for it), but I don't have any issues for the FOD, what's your vendor version ?
About that earthview wallpaper, it's a paid wall on the app called Abstruct.

I'm on the latest global V11.0.1.0 firmware, fingerprint is working perfectly but in the always on display it's not. Also even without auto brightness, the brightness seems all over the place. Other than that it's a pretty good rom.
Edit: Flashing Immensity kernel seems to have fixed the FOD. But the brightness is still glitchy.

Nice to know, thanks.
Will diff utsav's implementation later.
Finally, the first custom ROM in which my FOD worked!
Many thanks for this ROM! It runs great aside from the mentioned brightness issue.
One super minor thing that you might want to consider is the icon for the ANX camera that you include. Right now it's the Google Camera icon, and it gets a little bit confusing for us that use a real Gcam app aside ANX. It's customisable in the launcher, but not when choosing standard app, for example setting the app for double tap to open camera.
Is this based on the ROM from kunalshah912?
I've found a prop called "magic brightness" or something like this. I can't remember in which file it was/is, but I could search and give feedback, if I found it. Maybe this will fix the autobrightness bug which is also in the ROM from kunalshah912.
Shortly played with it looks like a nice rom, keep up the good work dev.
Just wanted to let you and other people know that Android Auto is giving same problems as most other AOSP roms
I had high hopes seeing that the device tree had a bunch of commits of the guy from PE.

Brightness is a big issue in this build. Its changing too often and manual brightness is like 0% is 40% on other Roms. Its too Light.

Hello! For some reason on the initial setup i get an "android setup keeps failing" and so i cant do anything, do you know any reason for that? I mean, i way to fix it. I know its not rom issue because this happens to me on almost every rom, but maybe one of you knows how to fix it. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, i tried that but got the same results, this happens to me with any rom without gapps, but for some reason if i try any rom with gapps included just works fine. To me seems like i have some permissions issues but im not sure tbh, i dont know i need some specific gapps or something, tried pico and nano, also tried diferent months versions but... No luck. Any sugestions will be very helpful

This is surely a Gapps issue, you can try different packages like BitGapps, FlameGapps and so on.

I had the same idea but also tried both with no luck, its weird but for now looks like the only rom that works for me its the PE Plus ButterySmooth. I even tried flashing any rom without gapps but still the same problem, i think its because for some reason the initial setup cant get storage permissions but i dont know why it works on that rom but not on others, i really dont know what im doing wrong, i just want to try other roms
