Flash through adb
Fastboot flash recovery <file name>.img
Or you can directly through twrp itself
Open TWRP
Go to install
On upper side there is option zip or img, select img
Then go to folder where file is saved and click install
Select recovery option
Reboot
My advice - be on twrp as it is has more option and updated while philz recovery is outdated and development has stopped

Or you can use the Flashify app to put recoveries of your choice - quite simple .
I did advanced wipe , and fully deleted everything on my phone , now I guess I dont have OS ( as TWRP 2.8.0.0 ) says , then I've tried to put many ROMS in my SD through mircroSD adapter ( bcs I HiSuite not working ) , but whenever I go to "Install" I can't find the UPDATE.APP file , the only thing I could do is update TWRP to 2.8.0.0 (zip) and thats all , it doesnt finds .APP or .IMG . please help me . If its possible do a step by step guide , im in a lot of trouble now , I dont care what version of firmware or ROM or what ever its called my phone will run . Please help me .

Twrp can only flash zip files. Nothing else. Please tell me your device name and model and I'll try to point you in the right direction.
Hello guys , I have this problem Unfortunately has stop error .
I got this problem in stock rom ( Samsung a500F ) , when i get this problem I flash new rom Blisspop . After i flash the new rom , the problem still exist . I change back to stock rom , the problem still exist . What could be the problem here ? Why can't the error be remove easily ? I did wipe cache, dalvik and system . ( Using TWRP 3.0.0 )

MAYBE my asus zenfone 3 ( zc520tl ) have been hacked with a fake O.S. update .
I need to flash the STOCK rom , cellphone is NOT rooted ( and I do not want to root ) , Bootloader : I do not know if it is already unlocked .

The problem is : I have a .ZIP file but " SP Flash Tool " says " ERROR: STATUS_SCATTER_FILE_INVALID ( 0xC0030001 ) " .

I had the same issue with stock rom from Asus website. There's a nougat stock rom available on internet. Don't remember where.
Also there is a marshmallow stock rom available on YouTube, along with the right sp flash tool. It's posted by a guy named 'droid'. Let me know if you need help finding the rom. I can upload it for you.
