It is the high band antenna, you do want to repair it !

Yes I think it's the antenna. But is there a way to solve it?

Damaged screen
Damaged motherboard

So i was looking into fixing my nexus 5 and i had trouble figuring out exactly what i needed so im asking you guys which parts i need to fix this crack or if i should just bring it to a shop. I also was wondering where the best place to get these parts from.

I'd live with that damage but if you choose to fix it you have to buy a lcd and digitalizer off Amazon eBay or aliexpress etc

this is not diagram.
I found a 16 pin socket on the motherboard of a tablet. I think they're called 16 pin dip sockets?? Can anyone identify this for me. I'll try post a pic soon, but right now I'm curious if they're common and are for a universal purpose. I remember when I was a kid, I modded my original Xbox by soldering a chip onto the motherboard using a socket that looks almost identical to this. Any ideas??
