This is for the new teclast t30 tablet? can you make a video?

Yes Brand New
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4uuLCjBWrs&feature=youtu.be
Video is About Patch/flashing Bootimage with Magisk Manager(Tablet is already rooted)

hello
successfully root new T30 with patched boot.img (with magisk).
I have unlocked bootloader with "fastboot flashing unlock" but now, have a message on boot screen and have to wait 5s more for boot
is there any way to bypass this message and 5s pause ?
there is a TWRP 3.3.1 on 4pda by nemo-nemo and helpers, but touchscreen don't work for me

Unlocked Bootloader cause this warning on Boot(Power Button should override the 5 secs Pause)
Dont using the recovery i dont know

Here is TWRP 3.3.1 for T1P2 (T30):
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RW5ek_FIAMe_8KvRWpNE_l7wi8qNxmUS/view?usp=sharing
Thx to nemo-nemo on 4pda.ru

Hello,
I can confirm TWRP work fine but you have to use a USB-OTG mouse
The 1st time you boot on TWRP, you have a encryption code request, choose "cancel"
To disable force encryption, flash "DisableForceEncryption_treble" zip with TWRP
When you unlock bootloader of this T30, you have warning message and 5s wait to boot
There is a tweak to bypass this:
download script "orange_state_disabler" zip and flash it with TWRP
this script is fully safe, there is a compatibility test and don't flash if it can't.
Thx to XopmoH97 from 4pda.ru

What's your source ?
Have you verify this firmware ?
T30 is T1P2, not T1P1.
Look at your ID on tablet's backside: T1P2
Go to Teclast website firmware and search for
T1P1: unknown
T1P2 -> T30
Verify and test before publish, please

My PC can't find any T30 fastboot devices... which drivers use ??

Search for "MTK_USB_All_v1.0.8" on google

Is there no way to root without unlocking the bootloader first?

Unlocking bootloader is useless for 90% of users
Why ?:
- Only for fastboot commands
- Unlocking bootloader avoid warranty
You can do lot of things without unlock:
- Install TWRP (with Upgradetool)
- Install custom system, logo, boot, etc ... with upgradetool
and
You can root without unlock:
- Download firmware (T1P2) from teclast website and unpack in PC folder, ex: "T30_firm".
- Download and install "MTK_USB_All_v1.0.8" for MTK drivers (search on google)
- Connect your T30 to PC with usb
- In "T30_firm/firmware" folder, copy "boot-verified.img" to you T30
- Install magisk manager on your T30 an launch it
- Choose install magisk by "patch a file", choose your "boot-verified.img" and wait
- Now, you have a "magisk-patched.img" file in download folder
- Copy "magisk-patched.img" on your "T30_firm" folder PC
- Launch "Upgrade tools.exe" in "T30_firm/upgrade tool" folder
- Unselect all "img" files
- Select only "boot" line and choose your "magisk-patched.img" (click on same line, "location" column)
- Shutdown your T30 (allways connected to pc)
- Clic on "download" in upgrade tool and wait for big popup with green "V"
You can disconnect you T30 and boot.
Open magisk manager, "tada !" magisk is ready

Ill give it a try thanks.
It worked, thanks a bunch!!!

When I turn off the T30 and press download, nothing happens anymore. I tried it on both Windows 7 and Windows 10. Just nothing. I'm waiting 10 minutes, then I'll put a stop and i'm done. No change. Does the tablet really have to turn off? Otherwise it's very well described, I think I'm making a mistake somewhere, I just don't know where.

Try press "download" first and then, power off

For me these mtk tools only do anything when i plug into a certain usb port. I couldnt find one that worked on my desktop pc but on my laptop its the usb 2.0 slot that worked and not either of the usb 3 slots. Turn it off click download and then plug in the tablet and it should start assuming you have properly installed the needed drivers.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. It just wanted to press download first and then plug it into USB. Thanks again.

Root (almost) every device with Magisk + Fastboot

ROOT (ALMOST) EVERY DEVICE WITH MAGISK + FASTBOOT
As an Android user, I understand how frustrating it will be when you desperately look for an exact rooting tutorial for your device but end up finding nothing, all one-click root tools do not work, or no custom recovery made for yours.
So, this tutorial shows you how to root a wide range of Android devices (not all, because there will be exceptions, I guess) with Magisk. First, we should take a look at the pros and cons, so that you can generally acknowledge this method.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
PROS
- No custom recovery (TWRP, ClockworkMod,etc.) needed
- Easy to find prerequisites
- Successful root attempt CONFIRMED on my 10 devices (including popular devices, rare devices, and devices with OS based on Android)
- Support recent Android versions, including Android 10 (tested on Google Pixel XL).
CONS
- Phone brick might occur
- You might not find your device's firmware in .zip format, which will stop you from using this method.
- Not being able to unlock the bootloader (only on some device) will stop you from using this method, too.
That's about the pros and cons. I hope you guys all understand these points before going to read my tutorial and start your attempt.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
REQUIREMENTS & STEPS
I. REQUIREMENTS
- Your device's Android version is 5.0 or up. If it's below 5.0, then you can root your device easily with any one-click tool.
- A computer & USB cable.
On your phone
- Download & install Magisk
- Download the exact firmware version (in .zip format) of your device and only extract the boot.img to any directory.
On your computer
- Download & install Fastboot, extract the folder to "Downloads" directory
- Download & install Android USB driver for Windows
(I am not sure if XDA allows inserting links in threads or not, so please search for these prerequisites on the internet, it is easy)
II. STEPS
1. Unlocking your phone's bootloader
- Open Settings > About phone > Tap on Build number about 7 times till you see a notification "You are now a developer"
- Now in the About phone tab, you can see the "Developer option". Tap on it and make sure:
+ the OEM unlocking is turned ON
+ The USB Debugging is turned On
- Plug your phone on your computer (with Fastboot & driver fully installed). Allow the USB Debugging notification on your phone
- Open Command Prompt on your computer. Enter commands below steps by steps:
cd Downloads
cd fastboot
adb reboot bootloader
(press Enter after each line to proceed)
- Your phone will reset to the bootloader menu after these commands. Next, enter this:
fastboot oem unlock
- A message asking you to make sure you want to unlock the bootloader. Use the volume and power button to choose "Yes". Your phone will reset data and reboot right after.
*Note: This method works on many Android devices, but doesn't on many devices. You might have to google a method for your own phone
2. Patching the boot.img file
After you extracted the boot.img from your device, use the Magisk app installed on your device to patch it up.
- Click the "Install" button on the first line
- Click "Select and Patch a file"
- Choose the boot.img file extracted. The patching progress will start right after.
- You will receive a file named "magisk_patched.img" after finished.
3. Flashing the "magisk_patched.img"
- Copy the "magisk_patched.img" into the Fastboot folder
- Reboot your phone to Bootloader mode by powering off and then hold Power + Volume down button simultaneously
- Open Command Prompt again, and type:
cd Downloads
cd fastboot
fastboot flash boot magisk_patched.img
- The flashing progress will begin. Wait until it finishes, and type the last command:
fastboot reboot
- Your phone will restart once again, and of course, with root access gained
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
UNROOT DEVICE
- If you want to unroot your device, you just have to flash the original boot.img file, with the same steps with flashing the magisk_patched.img!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This instruction is not truly detailed, so maybe you might encounter some difficulties at some point. If any, please feel free to leave your question below.
It is also the first time I create an instruction post, therefore I appreciate all of your comments. Thanks a lot <3

I will edit my instruction again if needed.
Thanks for your suggestions!

[ROOT GUIDE] T860 root no TWRP method

This is an advanced guidance.
I will explain exact procedure presuming other things are already known for those who are know what are they doing.
Therefore, if anything goes wrong I don't feel responsible for whatever you do.
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Device will, format itself. Do initial setup without setting anything because you will need it to format again.
3. Boot device and turn on OEM unlock and USB debugging in to developer options in system settings.
4. Reboot device again.
5. Download stock firmware (you can use FRIJA or SAMFIRM tool from XDA.)
6. Unpack firmware zip
7. Connect tablet to your PC
8. From folder of unpacked firmware COPY AP file to your tablet SDCard/Documents folder.
9. Download and install latest Magisk Manager.apk on tablet.
10. Open Magisk Manager you will see "Magisk is NOT installed" in red letters but no problem.Set it EXACTLY like on picture 1.
11.Click "install" and you will see screen on picture 2.
12. Select "SELECT AND PATCH A FILE" and select that AP firmware file you previously copied from your PC
13. Magisk will start to patch a file. When patching is done...
14. Close Magisk Manager and open your SDCard/Documents folder on tablet. You will find there "MAGISK_PATCHED.TAR" file.
15. Copy that file from tablet to PC
FLASHING
Turn off tablet and put it in download mode
1. Open on PC patched ODIN 13.3 or 13.4 and UNTICK "reboot automaticly" on ODIN settings
2. Select files for flashing BL to BL, CP to CP, CSC to HOME_CSC....
BUT EXCEPT ORIGINAL AP FILE SELECT "MAGISK_PATCHED.TAR" FILE !
3. Flash all files to your tablet and disconnect from PC when ODIN finished
4. Reboot tablet into recovery and format data and cachee ! Restart tablet and wait few minutes to load
5. Set up tablet as usually.
6. Install Magisk Manager.apk and open it...It will do some patching updates then reboot itself.
7. Open Magisk Manager again and install Magisk zip from manager. Manager will root and reboot device itself.
8. You have a root without TWRP
.
To keep this guide short, same video procedure I found here...It is for S10+ but applicable for this tablet as well.
ROOT WITH MAGISK
.
Thank for that clarity .. i just get an Tab s6 and i needed i simple and recent tutorial.
This guide worked perfectly. The one with twrp didn't.
Thank you.
This didn't work for me.
3. Flash all files to your tablet and disconnect from PC when ODIN finished
4. Reboot tablet into recovery and format data and cachee ! Restart tablet and wait few minutes to load
I can't get into Recovery Mode to format. It freezes on the boot logo, I'll hold Volume Down + Side Key to power off, Volume Up + Side Key to boot into Recovery Mode but it just tried to boot normally and freezes on the boot logo.
Is it better to root first or flash TWRP.
EDIT: Duh!!

Before step 10 ensure that you have a Wi-Fi connection. I think Magisk requires it. Magisk would not produce the drop-down till I connected to the internet. Then everything worked fine.
Good man, thanks so much!

You need to restart tab after flashing BUT again in DOWNLOAD MODE...not in recovery ! Then flash TWRP and restart in twrp recovery. You need to untick AUTO REBOOT in Odin before flashing TWRP.
Not able to shutdown
After rooted with Magisk,my Tab S6 is not able to shutdown,no matter which methode I use,it just restart itself.
Does anyone have this issue?
worked perfect on oneui 3.1 aswell thank you
I rooted my Galaxy Tab S6 using the Magisk-only method after updating to Android 11. I had trouble with the post-Odin step (pressing power and volume up right after screen turns off) so I had to do the flash a couple more times before I got that right, and everything shows as rooted now.
However, my 256GB internal storage is only showing up as 32GB! Is that a firmware thing, or a partitioning thing? How can I fix it?
Used ther same method on my rooted tab with the May update (T865XXU4CUE1_T865OXM4CUE1_DBT) - magisk-patch AP, flash all files in Odin, after reboot the device is rooted.
BUT after another reboot (or rather shutdown and boot), root access is lost and cannot be restored in any way until I re-flash the device with the same firmware again.
Any solution to this?
6. Install Magisk Manager.apk and open it...It will do some patching updates then reboot itself.
7. Open Magisk Manager again and install Magisk zip from manager. Manager will root and reboot device itself.
Click to collapse
This never happens. I even uninstalled Magisk Manager after patching, flashed the firmware, reinstalled the latest Canary Manager, still no patching or reboot happening.
Edit: just rebooted and shutdown a few times, root sticks. Before, I held VolUp as described in many guides until the "secured by Knox" logo appears, now didn't touch any button except Power.
Oh well...

[Guide] [Root] Samsung Galaxy a7 2018 (a750fn) Root Guide + Working Secure Folder & Samsung Health

How to Root Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 (a750fn) + Working Secure Folder & Samsung Health
Hello, this is a guide on how to root Samsung galaxy A7 2018 (a750fn). I've tried to simplify the guide as much as I can but I still suggest to root your phone only if you know what you are doing! Also if you have any questions or problems, just ask.
Note: Sorry for any grammatical or spelling mistakes. English is not my native language.
!Disclaimer!
- You do this at your own risk! I am NOT responsible for bricked devices, stuck on bootloop etc.!
- Backup your device before proceeding forward!
- This guide WILL trip Knox so your warranty will be void!
- The Knox-dependent applications like Secret Folder and Samsung Health will stop working but in this guide, there are two other miniguides that will explain how to enable them even after tripped Knox. - All of these steps have been tested on my phone - Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) (a750fn) where they worked without problems.
Required Software/Resources:
- Odin (for flashing) - Download
- Samsung USB Drivers - Download
- 7zip (for archives) - Download
- Firmware with the last security patch from 2020 (for me, the patch was from November 2020) - Download
- TWRP Recovery - Download
- Magisk (for root) - Download
- DM-VERITY, FORCED ENCRYPTION, AND DISC QUOTA DISABLER (Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt.zip) - Download
- A MicroSD card
Setup the Software/Resources:
1. Install 7zip
2. Install the Samsung USB Drivers
3. Extract Odin to a folder and put it on the Desktop
4. Extract the firmware to a folder and put it on the Desktop
In the firmware there'll be 5 files:
- BL_FIRMWAREVERSION
- AP_FIRMWAREVERSION
- CP_FIRMWAREVERSION
- CSC_OMC_OXM_FIRMWAREVERSION
- HOME_CSC_OMC_OXM_FIRMWAREVERSION (delete this one)
Delete the files starting with HOME_CSC.
5. Change the Magisk extension from .apk to .zip (Ex. Magisk_ver.apk --> Magisk_ver.zip)
6. Put the Magisk_ver.zip in the MicroSD card
7. Put the Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt.zip in the MicroSD card as well
8. Insert the MicroSD card in the phone
Steps to Root:
NOTE: BEFORE PROCEEDING FORWARD, BACKUP YOUR DEVICE!
1. Enable Developer Options (by clicking 7 times the build number of your phone)
2. Open Developer Options and find the option OEM Unlock
3. Enable OEM Unlock (this will factory reset the phone)
- After the factory reset the OEM Unlock option will be enabled and this will allow
flashing custom recoveries and etc. to the phone.
4. After the factory reset, when the phone boots up, turn it off
5. Connect the phone to you PC/Laptop via USB cable
6. While the phone is completely turned off, hold the buttons Volume UP + Volume DOWN until Download mode shows up
7. Press Volume UP again to confirm that you'll be modifying your device
8. On your PC/Laptop open Odin
9. On the left side in Odin there are 3 tabs: Log, Options and Pit
10. Open Options and remove the checkmark on the Auto Reboot option, then go back to Log
11. In the middle of the program there are 5 slots:
- BL (Bootloader)
- AP (Application Processor)
- CP (Modem)
- CSC (Consumer Software Customization)
- USERDATA
12. Click the first slot and navigate to the location where you extracted the firmware
- The start of the names of each firmware file corresponds to the names of the slots in Odin
13. Place each firmware file in the correct Odin slot that corresponds to their names
(Ex. BL_FIRMWAREVERSION is inside the BL slot)
14. With your phone connected, press the Start button to flash the firmware
- After the firmware has been flashed successfully, your phone will be downgraded to the last security patch from 2020 which fixes possible bootloops or other issues when rooting/disabling forced encryption.
- The firmware is successfully flashed when the top left bar is green and above says PASS!
After flashing the firmware DON'T boot in Android yet!
15. After flashing, hold the Volume DOWN + Power button for around 7 seconds, immediately when the screen goes black switch to holding Volume UP + Volume DOWN
- You will enter back in Download mode
16. In Odin, press the Reset button and again uncheck Auto Restart in Options
17. In the AP slot, select the TWRP Recovery (which is in .tar archive)
18. With your phone connected to your PC/Laptop in Download mode, press Start on Odin
- This will flash the custom recovery to the phone
19. You can now disconnect the phone from your PC/Laptop
Again, after flashing the recovery, do NOT boot into Android yet!
20. After flashing the custom recovery, hold the Volume DOWN + Power button for around 7 seconds, immediately when the screen goes black switch to holding Volume UP + Power button
- This will boot the phone into the custom recovery (TWRP in this case)
22. Inside TWRP Recovery, go to Wipe, select Format Data and type 'yes' to confirm
23. After the format, go to Install, select the MicroSD card and find where you've put the Magisk_ver.zip file, select it and install it
- This will root to the device!
24. After you have installed Magisk, go back to Install, select the MicroSD card and find where you've put Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt.zip and install it
- This will disable the forced encryption!
- If there's an error when installing the zip that says 'Failed to mount '/odm' (no such file or directory)", simply ignore it and proceed forward.
25. Go to Reboot, select System and wait around 5-10 minutes till Android fully loads
- After Android has loaded, proceed through the setup process.
26. Go to all apps and find the application called Magisk
- When you open it, it'll ask you to complete the installation of the Magisk app.
- It may also ask to reboot, to fully complete the installation.
27. After the application has been fully installed, your device will be Rooted and with disabled forced encryption!
Fix Secure Folder & Samsung Health
Note: TWRP Backup is recommended in case something fails
Samsung Health:
Required Software:
- A build.prop editor like this
Steps:
1. Install a build.prop editor from the play store
2. Give the build.prop editor root access
3. Open the editor and search for the line - ro.config.tima=1
4. Change the 1 to 0
(Ex. ro.config.tima=1 --> ro.config.tima=0)
5. Save and Reboot the device
6. After the reboot Samsung Health should work as expected
Secure Folder:
Required Software:
- Smali Patcher - Download
Steps:
2. Extract Smali Patcher.zip into a folder
3. Run as administrator
- Wait until it says 'idle..' at the bottom left of the program
4. Uncheck everything checked (like Mock locations, Mock providers, High volume warning etc.)
5. Check Samsung Knox
6. Enable USB Debugging on your phone
7. Connect your phone to your PC/Laptop
8. Press the ADB PATCH button
- A prompt will appear on your phone that asks if you allow your pc to do debugging mode operations on your phone.
9. Press allow on the prompt on your phone
- Wait until Smali Patcher is done.
- After Smali Patcher is done there should be a Magisk module inside it's folder.
10. Copy the Magisk module created by Smali Patcher to your phone
11. Open Magisk and go to Modules (the puzzle piece icon)
12. Tap on the button saying 'Install from storage'
13. Find the location where you've copied the module
14. Install the module
15. Restart your phone
16. If all done correctly, you should be able to set up and use Secure Folder

I installed the same firmware (the patch was from November 2020).

How To Guide [All-in-One] Xiaomi 13 (fuxi): Unlock Bootloader, Root, Flash TWRP, Flash ROM

[All-in-One] Xiaomi 13 (fuxi): Unlock Bootloader, Root, Flash TWRP, Flash ROM
Dear Xiaomi 13 user,
I'm not responsible if anything happens to your device. If you execute these AiO procedures properly then you shouldn't face any problems. Before you proceed please back up all your important data and make sure that your phone battery is charged >80%!
A. Prerequisites:
1. Install ADB and Fastboot tools with drivers on Windows
How to do this please read here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...vers-15-seconds-adb-installer-v1-4-3.2588979/
Restart your computer.
2. Enable "OEM unlocking" and "USB debugging" in your device
a. Enable Developer Options in: Settings/About Phone/MIUI version. Click on MIUI version 7 or 8 times
b. Now go to: Settings/Additional Settings/Developer Options and check "OEM unlocking" and "USB debugging"
3. Create a Mi Account
If you don’t have a Mi Account, then create one here: https://account.xiaomi.com
4. Connect your Mi Account to your device
Go to: Settings/Additional Settings/Developer Options/Mi Unlock status and check "Add account and device"
B: Unlock the Bootloader
Unlocking the bootloader will erase all your data! So please back up your data before you unlock the bootloader!
1. You must enable "OEM unlocking" and "USB debugging" as per point A.2.
2. You must connect your Mi Account with your device as per point A.4.
3. Download Mi Unlock Tool here: https://en.miui.com/unlock/index.html
4. Enter the fastboot mode by holding together "Volume Down + Power" and connect your device to your computer via USB cable (best would be the original cable)
5. Start the Mi Unlock Tool
6. Enter your eMail and your password of your Mi Account (the same account which you added to your device - Point A.4.)
7. Connect you device to your computer and start the unlock procedure
8. Follow the unlock tool instructions until the unlock procedure is finished
9. Reboot your device
C: Root Your MIUI ROM without TWRP
1. Your Bootloader must be unlocked (see Point B)
2. You must enable "OEM unlocking" and "USB debugging" as per point A.2.
3. Download the fastboot ROM (the same ROM currently installed in your device) from here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/fuxi/ and unzip it.
4. Open the file and extract the "init_boot.img" on to your computer.
5. Transfer the “init_boot.img” from your computer on to your device
6. Download the latest Magisk manager App from here: https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk and install it on to your device.
7. Open Magisk App and click install, and then "select and patch a file" (of course you select “init_boot.img”)
8. Transfer the patched boot.img file from your device’s download folder on to the “ADB and Fastboot” folder in your computer. In the computer rename the patched file into: “patched_boot.img”
9. Switch off your device. Now enter the fastboot mode by holding together "Volume Down + Power" and connect your device to your computer
10. Go to “ADB and Fastboot” folder in your computer and open a command window inside that folder.
Enter the terminal command in command line: >>fastboot boot patched_boot.img<< and hit enter. Now the device will restart.
Attention your device is now only temporary rooted, so don’t restart your device just yet. Find Magisk app in your device, open it, click “install” and then check “direct install”, then press “let’s go”. Magisk will now install and make the root permanent. Now click “reboot” and the device will restart.
If this procedure doesn't work with the file “init_boot.img”, then use the file “boot.img” instead and follow the same procedure.
D: Install A Xiaomi.eu ROM
1. Your Bootloader must be unlocked (see Point B)
2. You must enable "OEM unlocking" and "USB debugging" as per point A.2.
3. Download and put onto your computer the Xiaomi.eu ROM (please select fuxi) from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi...files/xiaomi.eu/MIUI-STABLE-RELEASES/MIUIv14/ and unzip it.
4. Switch off your device. Now enter the fastboot mode by holding together "Volume Down + Power" and connect your device to your computer.
5. In your computer (in the Xiaomi.eu ROM folder) please click the file: “windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_firmat.bat" (if you’re using windows, or press the proper file if you’re using mac or linux) and computer will do the rest. The device will restart.
E: Root Your Xiaomi.eu ROM without TWRP
1. Your Bootloader must be unlocked (see Point B)
2. You must enable "OEM unlocking" and "USB debugging" as per point A.2.
3. Pls find in your computer the downloaded and unzipped hybrid Xiaomi.eu ROM from Point D.2.
4. Find the file “init_boot.img” and transfer it on to your device
5. Download the latest Magisk manager App from here: https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk and install it on to your device.
6. Open Magisk App and click install, and then "select and patch a file" (of course you select “init_boot.img”)
7. Transfer the patched “init_boot.img” file from your device’s download folder on to the “ADB and Fastboot” folder in your computer. In the computer rename the patched file into: “patched_boot.img”
8. Switch off your device. Now enter the fastboot mode by holding together "Volume Down + Power" and connect your device to your computer
Find Magisk app in your device, open it, click “install” and then check “direct install”, then click “let’s go”. Magisk will now install and make the root permanent. Now click “reboot” and the device will restart.
If this procedure doesn't work with the file “init_boot.img”, then use the file “boot.img” instead and follow the same procedure.

1. Your Bootloader must be unlocked (see Point B)
2. You must enable "OEM unlocking" and "USB debugging" as per point A.2.
3. Download and put onto your computer the latest fastboot ROM from here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/fuxi/ and unzip it.
4. Switch off your device. Now enter the fastboot mode by holding together "Volume Down + Power" and connect your device to your computer.
5. In your computer (in the folder where you have put your ROM) please click the file:
a. “flash_all.bat" (if you want to make a clean install but keep the bootloader unlocked).
b. “flash_all_except_storage" (if you want to make a clean install but keep your data and maintain the bootloader unlocked).
c. “flash_all_lock" (if you want to make a clean install and lock the bootloader).
In all three cases (a., b., c.) when flashing is finished, restart your device.
If my guide helped you, please click "thanks" and enjoy your phone.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
1. Waiting time to unlock the bootloader
Q. If I receive the message: "unlocking can be done after 72h or 168h or 360h etc.". Is there a way to skip this waiting time?
A: Unfortunately you have to wait for that time to pass. There’s no way around it (that I know of). It seems like new and never used (to unlock bootloader) accounts receive a shorter waiting time.
2. Unlock procedure stops at 99%
Q: If my unlock procedure stops at 99%, what could be the problem?
A: Most problay you're using two different Xiaomi accounts. You have to use the same account that you have added into the device also in the unlock tool otherwise it will not work.
3. Recommended ad-blocker (for rooted devices)
Q: I want to block the advertisement in all apps, what app can you recommend?
A: If you decide to root your device, then you can install AdAway from here: https://adaway.org/. In order for AdAway to work properly please add in the Magisk App the Systemless Hosts (Magisk/Settings/Systemless Hosts).
4. Retaining the root after ROM update
Q: If I root my device as per point C, E of the AiO and I install a system update in my device, is the root still available?
A: Unfortunately root will be removed after the system update. So you have to repeat the procedure in point C, E.
I need to correct you, sorry. After manny tries, unlocking xiaomi 13 is:
you mod boot.img and init_boot.img with magisk
fastboot flash init_boot *init_boot_moded.img*
fastboot flash boot_ab *boot_moded.img*
fastboot reboot
Unfortunately root has no full access, no access to /system so android auto, even if moded to system app not working. build.prop also not editable by any way
I got stock builds from https://xiaomistockrom.com/xiaomi-13
tried on 14.0.4 and 14.0.9
At some point something went wrong and phone went in fastboot loop reboot. Susccesfully flashed using MiFlash20220218

If the link does not lead to the download and requires a subscription to TG, you must edit your post and delete the link. XDA rules.
But you can put it online via a cloud.

The reason behind the system partition being unreadable is that Xiaomi is using the new EROFS filesystem, instead of the old ext4. EROFS provides way faster reading and writing speeds, as well as saving space by compressing files dynamically. EROFS stands for Enhanced Read Only File System, so as the name suggests, there's no workaround to edit system files unless you have magisk.

Hey bro, does your build plan include pixel experience? I would love to experience it on Mi 13.
TWRP for FUXI

Whats Xiaomis current policy about root and warranty, i remember they used to be "friendly" about it.
Wish they shortened the unlock waiting time to couple of hours, i'd consider another Xiaomi again. Last one was Xiaomi 9, I had to wait 2 weeks while phone being unused (not rooted = insecure).
Dumb question:
If i unlocked bootloader, flashed another rom (like global or EU) , can i relock it ?
And later, if i want to unlock it again, do i have to wait another 7 days?

You can lock the bootloader only with stock roms.
Chinese model, locking possible only with a CN rom.
Global model, all roms except CN.
No 7 day waiting period if you use the same account.

[GUIDE] [2023] Root, Install TWRP, Install LineageOS Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 SM-P905

Hi, in this guide I will help you to root, install the TWRP, and install LineageOS 17.1 (or any custom ROM for this tablet).
I'm not responsible for any damage to your device of any sort.
By flashing this you take responsibility of anything that happens.
Process at your own risk!
This firmware was developed for the p905. It doesn't apply to the p905v at this time because it's bootloader locked and a custom recovery isn't possible.
Doing this you will delete all you file, so before starting save you important data in a different device.
DOWNLOADINGDownload this .zip that have all the required files: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aXfW2WoNER0kKRUc6dn0Odu3VW2swNA7/view?usp=share_link
Extract the folder in the Desktop for better agility.
STARTINGOpen the folder previously extracted, and run as administrator the .exe "Samsung-Usb-Driver-v1.5.59.0". Now you downloaded the Samsung drivers.
Now run as administrator the .exe "adb-setup-1.4.3 run as admin": Answer yes for every step asked.
Remember to install the GAPPS from here (i didn't put them in the .zip file because uses al lot of space): https://opengapps.org/ (select the ARM and Android version, that in this case is Android 10.0, and I choosed the nano version, but you can select which you want in base of included app: https://gapps4android.wordpress.com/2016/03/20/gapps-package-comparison-which-to-choose/ ).
Store the .zip with the gapps in the tablet, in some location that you will remember.
In the extracted folder you will find the rom .zip file of the LineageOS 17.1, do the same as for the GAPPS .zip, so copy it in the tablet in a folder that you will remember.
This process will NOT require the OEM unlock, because Odin will do it for you.
Be sure to have enabled the USB debug in the Developer Options. Plug the tablet in the PC and be sure that the tablet ask you to enable USB DEBUG via your PC. Is no pop-up is asking you this, open the folder extracted, go to "fastboot" and open a CMD in this location, and type the command: "adb devices" this will trigger the tablet to ask you to allow the USB debugging via your PC.
ROOTINGPut the Samsung Galaxy Note pro 12.2 in the Downloading mode:
1. turn off the device completely.
2. hold down the POWER key and the volume DOWN key.
3. when you come out a screen with a yellow triangle and an exclamation mark and asking if you want to be sure to enter the Downloading mode (also called Odin Mode), to agree click the volume UP button.
Meanwhile start Odin (the file .exe called "Odin3-v3.10.6" that is in the extracted folder) as administrator.
Now plug the Galaxy Note pro in the PC and you will se now a message in the left box saying something like: "<ID:0/005> Added!!" the number is based on the COM port that your tablet is now connected (in my case was 5).
Now click on the button "AP" (that should be the only one clickable) and select the file "CF-Auto-Root-viennalte-viennaltexx-smp905.tar" in the main extracted folder.
Finally now click START. In my case took 5 minutes to complete.
When the process ends, the tablet will reboot automatically, and in the apps you will see an app called "superSU". If you see this app, you successfully rooted you device!
Open the new app and it will ask you if you disable Xnox and you will click yes, or ok.INSTALLING TWRPWe will install TWRP in the Easy way, from the Play Store. So open the Play Store and download the officiall TWRP app.
Once downloaded, open the app. If the app ask for request from superSU you will need to GRANT.
Ok, now click on the "Select Device" and choose our tablet, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, and choose the latest .img avaible. It will ask you to download, so you click OK and it will open the browser and download the image file (should be called like "twrp-3.0.2-0-viennatlexx.img"). Remember where it got downloaded and return in the TWRP app. Now click on "Select a file to flash.." and select the image file now downloaded. Finally click on "FLASH TO RECOVERY" and in the pop-up click OKAY.
You should get a screen saying "Flash completed successfully!".INSTALLING LINEAGEOS (or any rom)Boot in the TWRP mode by connecting the device to the PC, opening the folder "fastboot" in the firstly .zip downloaded and opening the cmd in that location. Once you opened the cmd, type "adb devices" and now you should see you device. Now type the command: "adb reboot recovery". Your device will shutdown and automatically restart in the TWRP mode.
From here you can follow any Tutorial in the web to install the rom and the gapps.
But if you want to install now the rom LineageOS 17.1, continue following this guide.
Once you are in the TWRP mode, click "Wipe" and go to "Advanced Wipe" and select only the checkboxes "Davlik Cache", "System", "data" and "Cache". Now swipe to wipe.
Now go back in the main page, and click "Install" and navigate where you have the ROM .zip file stored of the LineageOS rom. When you find it click on it and Swipe to confirm Flash.
Now DO NOT reboot the system, go back and Flash in the same manner the .zip file with the GAPPS. After flashing the GAPPS, remember to click on the button "Wipe cache/dalvik".
NOW FINALLY CLICK ON THE BUTTON REBOOT SYSTEM. And here you go, that's how I upgraded from Android 5.0.2 to Android 10 for my tablet Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 SM-P905.CONCLUSIONI only wanted to share my experience, because I had really hard time trying the upgrading becuase internet was not really clear about this.
If you have any problem I will try help you in this Thread, but i'm not an expert, i'm only a guy that searched the web alone.
Buona fortuna a tutti e Arrivederci!
Thank you!
