Hello guys!
I switched the main camera to 4:3 and now it force closes every time I open it. Front camera works fine through the selfie shortcut.
Tried wiping data from camera and camera service but it didn't help... Camera always starts at 4:3 and then immediately crashes.
Any ideas?

I got problems with camera from the very beginning (switching to portrait mode). Never solved
I have 3 cameras....no problems.
Try Gcam.

Rear camera disappeared last night. Started with the camera force closing, and after a reboot only the front camera works, rear doesn't even show in menus. Using Fluent ROM, was on 7.2 and then wiped/flashed 7.5 and still the same issue. At work atm and can't try much, but has anyone had a similar issue and some advice, or am I screwed? Flashlight apps still turn on the LEDs for what its worth.

I installed the developer preview as soon as it came out. Today I noticed my front facing camera is not working. It was working 3 days ago. In the stock camera app, the button to switch to front facing is not present. I installed a couple of other apps and there is no option for the front facing camera there too. So I tried to wipe the stock camera app's data. After that, the app does not start at all, it just crashes. 3rd party apps still work, but just for the rear camera.
I tried to reflash the system image for android m, but still, the problem persists. I happen to have a spare front facing camera from another broken nexus 5 (RIP old friend), and I still have this issue. Anyone got any ideas?

I don't know why but suddenly portrait mode stoped working on the back and front cameras. I won't deffocus the background. I've S Pro Camera and it DOES deffocus the background with the front and back cameras, so I'm thinking it's not a hardware issue (though I don't know it the S Pro Camera portrait mode is done via software). I've also already cleared the stock camera data and cache. Is there a way for me to reinstall the stock camera to see if it fixes the issue? Or any other solution that won't imply me doing a factory reset?
Anyone else facing this issue? After recent mini 11.0.9 update, camera is not able to focus. In CIT test, vice back camera works fine but main back camera is blurred. Tried camera app data reset.
2 days ago my rear camera stopped auto focusing and it's now focused only in near objects the front cam can focus just fine but some reason the rear camera won't even though I tried restarting the phone multiple times, I've tried booting into safe mode and tried deleting the cache and storage of the camera app with no success I hope this is a software issue
