Change default download manager? - General Questions and Answers

Hey,
I have been trying to make IDM+ as a default download manager. I'm using Chrome browser.
Is there any way to force IDM+ intercept the request and download the file instead of using the normal download.
I found some tutorials about changing the DM through chrome browser
I didn't found that option.
"chrome://flags"
You can search about it, you will find lot of tutorials.
I attached 2 pics of the settings in IDM

Has dev-host been hacked?

It seems any download from here that links there will only let you download a shady .exe
Is this a known thing or what? I can't find anything when searching for it, and most of the damn files I need were hosted there..
Edit: obivously, untick the option on a download. then click the BLUE "download now".. that gives you actual download. clicking the orange link, whether having the check-box ticked or not, tries to serve you some stupid .exe
sly.
