I had almost same problem with my G2. Actually, these are refurb phones. They are forcibly flashed as D802 International model. But beneath the covers, they are D800.............Presumably, your Main board is of D800 Model. On Touch n Digitizer, D802 is written. On strips covering battery, D800/801/803 is written.
I can tell u what method I used to flash it.
1. I used AutoRec D802 to brick it.
2. No Download mode
3. No recovery mode
4. Only fastboot mode like this
{xxxx} fastboot udc_bootmode_started
{xxxx} change port blah blah...........
5. Then I attached it with system through USB cable and pushed aboot, boot, dbi, recovery, laf, misc etc. etc. through Linux.
6. I got download mode but as one can say Half download mode. Only written download mode not actual download mode.
7. Now, NO D/Load mode, NO fastboot mode, NO recovery mode
8. Opened it up and and short circuited the capacitors to get into "Qualcomm HS USB Dload 9008" mode.
9. Used some softwares. They are saviours but they are very tricky to use.
10. Got Download mode working.
11. Flashed D800 AT&T through LG Flash Tool
There you are..........
If u want to know further anything related to this..........feel free to ask..........
Long story short, a kdz flash may have been interrupted. Now I am unable to boot my stylo at all. I can however see it under device manager, where it is labeled "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008". Is there anything I can do to fix this?
I bricked mine and used LG Bridge to get to Lollipop and then I took the OTA to Marshmallow
Also, LG UP method can be used as well.

I kinda am stuck in this position too. Does LG bridge pick it up in this mode? Did you have that problem? I've been trying and it seems the only thing I can find is QPST using QFIL but then I can't seem to transfer the data and get an error about Sahara not being able to transfer the data over.

I have the MetroPCS version and totally screwed up messing around with something. I had no recovery. I had to use one of the methods to get it back up and running.
If you have the Tmobile or Metro version, you should be fine.
Did you have the same QDLoader 9008 issue?
LG Bridge doesn't appear to be working for me as it's not even detected.
Try LG Flash tool. That can get you back to Lollipop.
http://androidcreations.weebly.com/lg-g-stylo-update.html
Or LG UP method should work.
http://www.mylgphones.com/t-mobile-lg-g-stylo-h631-how-to-unrick-restore-back-to-stock.html (This is for the Tmobile version)
I can't actually access download mode, meaning neither of those options can detect my phone.

LG UP has an option that does not require download mode
I can't get LG UP to detect my device at all.

Use a different USB cable. That's what happened to me. I had to try every single USB cable in my house, even from other phones.
AFAIK, in order to fix a hard bricked (Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008) lg stylo we need make something like this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...nbrick-g-stylo-ls770-qualcomm-hs-usb-t3368269) but for the H631/MS631 variant.
Can some of you look at THIS method used on LG V10 TMO variant for unbricking Qualcomm 9008?
I posted a thread HERE with the instructions from the user that created the backup and method to unbrick.
Hi, have the same qualcomm 9008 issue aftet kdz, so is there any solution?
So the brick is so bricked you can't even get to download mode.
Lg h631 hardbricked
Please any solution yet on this thread? I have had the same issue for a year now.
LGMS631 (MetroPCS LG G Stylo) Root/Unbrick/Recovery
So, I think I've managed to salvage my bricked Stylo, I somehow also managed to root my Fiance's LG G Stylo that's on the 6.0 update...
Since I can't find any ways to fix this problem on the internet I'll post what I did here so hopefully I can get some other people out of deep water with their phone.
Here is the thread I made I don't think it will work for a hardbrick, but it might be worth a shot..
LGMS631 MetroPCS LG G Stylo Backup (Unbrick/Root) Android 6.0
That won't work because your phone still works. You can boot past the 9008 mode.
So basically the phone is useless and can't be brought back to life at this point
I'm in the same position, flashed a lollipop kdz on a marshmallow and it effectively trashed the emmc. Without an insider leaking signed programmer and flasher mbns, flashing via sahara is not possible. For the moment, you need one of those expensive 20pin JTAG boxes and documentation for the ISP points(I can't find this info, it's paywalled). Under the shield facing the back of the phone is a header that may be for JTAG, but I haven't bothered probing as I don't think it's practical for unbricking.
Written for users who are experimenting with cross variant roms that cannot update back to stock through Uppercut (LGUP), LG Bridge, due to having a mismatched version and firmware. (Requires LG Bridge to at least recognize your original LG V20 Model number.) I am uncertain but might be able to revert to earlier versions of KDZ for some variants.
WARNING: By following these direction/procedure, you are agreeing in taking full responsibility and accountability for your devices.
Situation:
After experimenting with H910 rom with the H915, changing build.prop, modem, and after trying to flash back to stock, LGUP would only recognize the phone as a H910 model. The LGUP would not flash the H915 KDZ as there is a difference is model number, (stuck at 4%) while, on LGBridge and LG Support tool, it was able to detect that it was an H915 with a H910 firmware. It would download the update but unable to flash the device. With no operating system, no adb fastboot access, no recovery, manual resetting not functioning, this might be for you. (As long as Stock OEM .KDZ is available)
Requirements:
- Some sort of USB C adapter so that it can connect directly through USB 2.0/3.0. Does not work with LG OEM cable or through USB 3.1. [You could use a USB C to 3.0 adapter with a male to male USB 3.0 cable or USB C to Micro USB adapter.
- Stock .KDZ for your model either extracted from LG Bridge. (It’s a hidden folder and you should be able to also find the .dll for your device aswell. But I believe most of the V20 .dll are all the same.
C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\LG Electronics\LG Bridge\SWUpgrade\Image or download through http://lg-firmwares.com/
- WindowsLGFirmwareExtract-1.2.6.1-Release.zip by @bullghost , to extract .KDZ files and to require .DZ Files as well as .DLL.
- LGUP_Store_Frame_Ver_1_14_3.msi
- LGMobileDriver_WHQL_Ver_4.2.0.exe run as administrator
- Might not be required but I'll attach some other drivers downloaded through Lg support tool was for H915 but might work for others.
Procedure:
- Once acquiring the stock .KDZ file from either sources, run WindowsLGFirmwareExtract.exe unzipped from WindowsLGFirmwareExtract-1.2.6.1.zip
- Open and extract the .KDZ file to acquire the .DZ and .DLL files.
- Connect the LG V20 with a USB C adapter cable that is USB 3.0/2.0, this probably would not work if you use the OEM LG Cable, as it is USB 3.1.
- Open Device Manager and under Ports ( COM & LPT) , Change the device port to COM41, through properities -> port settings -> advanced -> Com port Number 41-> Ok
- Run Uppercut.exe but make sure anti-virus does not remove C:\WINDOWS\sysWOW64\cleanup.exe.
- Once LGUP is running, make sure you tick the UPDATE option and NOT REFURBISHED or FOTA.
- Select the extracted .DZ file and UPDATE it. By using the .DZ file and the USB 3.0/2.0 cable you are able to bypass the firmware model mismatch as long as it recognizes your original model. Ex: Was able to avoid H915> H910 LGUP firmware update error with the .DZ.
- If flashing finally starts to work and finishes, you might be welcomed by a FACTORY RESET STATUS Blue screen 2?
Now you can disconnect the USB, remove the battery, reassemble, then hold the Volume up button before reconnecting the USB to re-enter firmware update/download mode.
- By now, you can disconnect and reconnect it to UPPERCUT/LGUP and possibly choose any .KDZ file that is your OEM MODEL and update it back to 100% stock.
Some fixes to problems:
- LGUP can't load the model [C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\ LGUP model\com {Solution: Run uppercut.exe with anti-virus off}
- If LGUP has a problem detecting your devices rename the LGUPc.dll you either downloaded from LG Bridge or extracted and rename it LGUP_Common.dll and place in C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\common\*
Some fun software to modify .dll and .exe .

I hope this method will give people more confidence to explore the H915 model as well as other models.

I'm experimenting with my H915 and trying to flash the H918 KDZ. I have two USB C cables. My device is detected on port 41, but when I try to flash the .dz file with Uppercut it fails at 10% and when I reboot and go back into download mode it still says it an H915 and can't flash the .kdz. I tried both USB cables.
Any advice?
Edit: Could the issue be they are both USB 3.1 cables? The phone IS detected on port 41 as a H915.

I didn't think that usb 3.1 would be a problem but when I hard bricked it the first time, usb 3.0 cable solved the problem. When it gets stuck at 10 percent, it's getting stuck at the laf part right?
I'd still advise against flashing the h918 kdz I think we could develop a ROM h915 based on us996 as both does not have bloated carrier applications, as well as being global variants.
Did you flash a h918 TWRP, as well as a h918 stock ROM ?
Alright. So anybody got any idea what to expect. Everyone I run it the program fails at 12% i tried LG bridge as well it downloaded the update (took 2 ducking hours LG has some ****ty servers.) And it failed as well.
I used the usb included in the box the usb cable that came with nexus 6p and the usb that came with Alcatel idol 4s Windows phone. Every. Single. Cable. So since I didn't know if the cables were right I went to Amazon and ordered a usb 3.0 to usb c cable.
Does anyone know if the cables might be the issue Wal-Mart only had is 2.0 to c cables. LG is such a ****ing failure give us access to fastboot from a coldboot or make your device assistant program force flash it's DATA. I'm assuming it won't flash it because my phone identifies itself as a Google pixel but the program was smart enough to download the right update run an md5 of the update but when it went to apply it LOLNOPE THAT'S A PIXEL NVM! Literally all of this could be solved with fastboot flash recovery twrp.img but what do I know they only left the bootloader unlockable accessible via adb to run oem unlock and they didn't have the foresight to include a functional boot to fastboot option /endrant
Will this cable work amazon/dp/B0119EIHTG/

Do you access to either, system, TWRP, fastboot, or firmware update mode?
What did you flash that makes it recognize it as a pixel? Which model phone do you have ? The USB cable might not be an issue if you can't get lgup to recognize it as an LG phone

New cable doesn't make difference. Wtf can I do
imgur/AJBLjsC.jpg
Oh no lgup and bridge recognize the model number and LG bridge even begins downloading the kdz for it. Its the Tmobile version so h918tn no twrp, no fastboot just download mode. Lgu0 gets to 12% and fails something like unrecognized command error 0x2bc or something.
Lgbridge despite recognizing the device and downloading the right firmware throws an error before it starts flashing I'm assuming it's because it's just trying to flash the .kdz and not the dz so when it checks the build.prop it says hold up this isn't the right phone compared to the kdz info
Gonna pop a new post in here. I tried the usb c cable it didn't matter [out 10$ now] however I managed to make it to fastboot. The bad news is that it doesn't help at all despite my unlocked bootloader fastboot won't write or boot images. Thanks obama
The simple way of life of fastboot flash recovery twrp.img didn't work it fails when it goes to write, same with boot.
So contacted LG to see if begging for an official tot would work so I'll wait a bit if not I'll just return it to mobile under warranty just gotta figure out a good warranty reason
I got tired of ****ing with it so I proceeded to process a warranty exchange with T-Mobile.... so if anyone wants to give me ideas to try the device is getting fixed anyway throw it at the wall family. I have an s7 now anyway
Hi Gyus,
my LG Leon is hard bricked, I tried make root and I followed this procedure:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72501544&postcount=25
Something went wrong, I thing after wiped recovery and aboot partitions, no new recovery and aboot flashed.
After this also no buttun reactions, display off, no recovery, no boot and no fastboot too!
Without any communication with phone I cannot use utilities (LG Flash Tool, Boarddiag etc.)
I followed this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/unbrick-lg-model-download-recovery-t3060184
but I see no ADB Interface in Device Manger in PC, I have there only LGE Android USB Modem and LGE Android Serial Port (picture in attachments).
I cannot shorting of test point, I dont know where are points on the motherboard.
Please help me, any advice, idea?
Thanks!
have you found any solution to this? same thing happend to me i have LG Aristo
I'm also stuck with (k420ds) this no one here to interested to help me out. Still finding solution.
I have tried a lot of options, without any results. My solution was motherboard replacement
But it would be good if someone found the solution, many people have this problem.
I Got a H830 I needed it unlocked and I managed to root and unnlock it and get it all updated.
It worked so well I got another one, I did th same mehtod as the above not checking the differences in firmware and during the flshing it failed at 10%.
It was stuck so I had to interrupt it, When I boot it boots the the LG logo then goes into firmware update and is stuck.
I can't boot to anything else, I can get it detected in LGUP but not in LG bridge but do see it listed under ports and when i Plug in the USB cable I hear a connection (windows 10) I downloaded uppercut but my Antivirus is flagging it like crazy making it hard to work with. Realized I flashed a V6 firmware on a V7, not sure much more on the build or details of the FW though.
Is this something that is recoverable?
Thanks for any tips.
