IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This ROM is still a Work In Progress(WIP) there can be a number of bugs.
This build is NOT stable enough for daily use.
This ROM WILL require a device with UNLOCKED bootloader.
This ROM can ONLY be flashed using a custom recovery like TWRP.
This build is meant ONLY for experienced users to test out.

INSTRUCTIONS
First time installing CyanogenMod 12.1 to your Redmi Note 3 or coming from MIUI:
Unlock the bootloader. Head here for latest updates on bootloader unlock: http://en.miui.com/thread-199882-1-1.html
Flash a custom recovery(TWRP) via any installing methods, just make sure you have TWRP(or any custom revovery) installed.
Download and transfer the CM 12.1 zip and GApps zip to your device.
Boot into Recovery.
Perform factory reset.
Flash the CM 12.1 and GApps.
Reboot (be patient, "optimizing apps" takes a while)
Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!

hello, when new release with fixed issues ? UI from xiaomi not good for me, i prefere cyanogem. also a lot of crap apps in background, want to replace system from my redmi note 3

OK , thanks for this ROM , I was so happy , when saw this thread , but my happiness died when I was trying to installed this ROM. Look at the screenshot "mount failed" and nothing happens after even after 10-25 minutes.

Just wait for the installation to complete. The progress bar isn't working properly but after some time the installation will be completed.

On latest version I can't use italian language for first setup. but not problem I use english and all ok.
Now I have installed gapps whit opengapps.apk and for now work good.
camera crash, but if use other program don't have problem.
Now I have restore all my data...and use this fantastic rom.

First of all. thanks for the awesome work! OpenGapps ARM 6.0 works fine..
These are some of the bugs I found,
1) After first restart, yellow tint appears on the screen forever and starts lagging. (Gets fixed only after wiping and reflashing ROM again)
2) Camera app crashes quite often.
3) Front camera crash on start.

I can't install it. I flash the rom with or without flashing gapps (latest 6.0 pico) but it stuck in Mi logo...

do a full wipe. cache, dalvik, data, internal stoorage. form me work any time. or try re-download rom...damage zip

I wanna thank you for all requests for MiuiMiX by MMX Team...now is ready!!!
This is a new custom MIUI based on xiaomi.eu, our target was make smoother and with better battery life, for do it we used stock china vendor, and our boot patched with preinstalled magisk 19.3. (if magisk manager propose to update, decline because magisk 19.4 is still canary so not stable. Go in magisk manager setting and choose as channel for update stable)
For flahs MiuiMix u need a format data from twrp, if you come from another rom, than flash the rom and enjoy. Easy!

what u mean?

I've experienced some issues with brightness. When I have magisk installed, my brightness shoots up to Max every few seconds. Nothing seems to fix it, even a reboot. It's on your rom and on miui stock latest beta.

Why all rom had to base on China?, i'm using global phone and those china vendor are not fully compatible, for example LTE signal is weaker, i'm only get 3 bars, in same place with stock rom its full.

Coming from aosp you will have to data format

Best way for me to change roms is using a flashdrive, no problem when formatting data, no using of internal memory...

Awesome thank you!

I have installed a lot of different roms on different phones over the years. I was a little hesitant to install this one as I was trying to get away from MIUI but I'd been having difficulty with other Mi Mix 3 roms, so I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. This rom is noticeably faster and smoother than any other rom I have tried on the Mi Mix 3. I have yet to notice anything negative about the rom.

Weekly n stables...but with one condition, every rom is tested stock...we don't release for our policy buggy roms...so if we'll not be satisfied can happen that for a week we don't release...was happened only one time, but is honest to tell it before

It's down to preference. Weekly (beta) will always be more up to date and have more features... can be less stable but it usually isn't.
The official (stable) will have less features, not be fully up to date.. but it's always safe and will allow the system to "sink in" with you, as you wont keep flashing new versions every week.
I personally since the Redmi 4X days, only use the Beta/Weekly versions. On Note 5 Pro it's the way to go even. But on the Mi9t, they (Xiaomi) are skipping a lot of weekly builds and not giving a good support so maybe Stable is the way to go on our device.

Flash it clean, it has different vendor and it might cause issues.

I wanna thank you for all requests for MiuiMiX by MMX Team...now is ready!!!
This is a new custom MIUI based on xiaomi.eu, our target was make smoother and with better battery life, for do it we used stock china vendor, and our boot patched with preinstalled magisk 19.3. (if magisk manager propose to update, decline because magisk 19.4 is still canary so not stable. Go in magisk manager setting and choose as channel for update stable)
For flahs MiuiMix u need a format data from twrp, if you come from another rom, than flash the rom and enjoy. Easy!

Try to change recovery...a lot of users talked about pb n remember to format data n reboot in recovery before to flash

Share some images regarding this rom previews

First of all thank you devs for this amazing rom. I always wanted a lite version or striped down version of miui as i like miui more than stock (and also android navigation is kinda mess rn)
So i've been using this rom and till now i've found TWO BUGS
1. The feature to hold power button to open google assistant is unreliable, it doesn't work even when it's turned on. Need to turn it off and on again. That too after sometime doesn't work. It happens randomly.
2. The PIP is unreliable too, like if i am watching a video on yt and the go to recents, the PIP works but if i again switch to yt and then again go to recents, the PIP doesn't work. It's same with VLC.
And at last, thank you guys for the rom and really love the app drawer in stock launcher. :laugh:

Magisk 19.3 works perfectly for everything. So unless you just want latest one for the sake of it, everything will work flawlessly.
