I know the beta hasn't rolled out for the Note 10 in the US yet. Are there any leaked builds like in previous years that can be installed via Odin or anything?

@KAsp3rd is pretty much the main reason it happened. I basically just sat there and ran it because his vm is lame. It's not finalized, but yeah.
T-Mobile LG-H901 used, this might help open them all up hopefully, but no idea yet because of all different bootloaders.
Great work !!!
I'll get a good build up for it within a day or so (depending on how real life treats me)
FYI this does require fastboot unlock. So yes you will lose all of your data and yes it will only work on T-Mobile
Oh and in case you didn't catch it... After this you'll be able to root

LG Backup on the phone does the trick.
Make sure you do backup before doing fastboot OEM unlock, and restore after that.

Though I had been told verbally from a Samsung engineer that our Note 5 would get the update in December, This is the 1st written confirmation from the U.K Times via phoneareana
So, basically we are about 4 weeks +/- from receiving our update ....... good news !!

I think the written document is regarding the unlocked Note 5. However, T-mobile is pretty quick about their updates. I have hope we'll still get it in December.
Link isn't working for me either but I did see a notification stating the N920T will have a Marshmellow upgrade for sure. As much as I like to run the latest & geatest, the Marshmellow update is one that I will not be jumping on right away until I hear plenty of feedback on it.

Sorry, but I have searched, and can't find a direct answer, is 5.1.1 rooted for Verizon?
Where can I find the guide if it is.
Currently I am rooted on 5.02, have been delaying any OTA since purchase, rooted using Ping Pong
Thanks in advance
Anxiously awaiting this myself...I do know that Verizon locked the bootloader on or before 5.1.1 and as far as I know there is no root...yet.
Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
It does not exist. Not even the top rom makers and programers have been able to do it. The 5.1.1 update will also make it so you can't go backwards to 5.0.2. This is the first time since I've owned cell phones that I've seen a company finally beat the cell phone gurus but they finally did it on this one. However if you are not on Verizon or AT&T you can still do it through ODIN.
So if you have a phone pre 5.1.1 that rootable and root it...will you be able to flash 5.1.1?

It will not be released ever. That has been said a few times. It uses(from what I have heard) a Zero Day exploit, meaning it's very damn complicated, and it has a high chance of bricking people's phones. That was never meant to go to the general public. It was aimed at other devs. It's a proof of concept, meaning it CAN be unlocked, just not through that way.

0 day exploits are OS vulnerabilities that the manufacturer themselves aren't aware of. It doesn't necessarily mean that exploit itself has a high chance of bricking the phone.
Not releasing the method could be any number if things. These reasons could range from stolen proprietary source code being used to the exploit's author deciding that he doesn't feel like sharing the method.
I heard that the team that found the method said that they would NOT release it at the moment but that in the future it will be available.

I know that it may not have a high chance of bricking the device, but with the device, I assume it is thanks to shenanigans with Verizon and Knox. I have already discussed legal issues briefly in the s4 bootloader thread... Damn Money Sucking Lawyers. It is what it is. I think it has given some people hope because there IS A WAY... Just maybe not that way.

If you're on ARF4, Venom has update zips to hop to ARF4 to ARF5 to ARF8 then ARG2. It doesn't take as long as it seems. About 10-15 minutes per hop.

The ATT devices wipe when you use the OTA files. I don't want to wipe, which is why I asked if Odin files were available.
ARG2 is also v3 bootloader. I jumped to the 2 early and regretted it. I'll wait until one of the carriers officially goes to a v3 bootloader before I jump that gun

How is that so? I thought the build numbers were always sequential hex based numbers that directly correlated to the build date and how new that build is. But its been a while since I have really got into Samsung firmware after a long hiatus from the S3 so I am sure things have changed since those days.

It was really annoying when I cared if they passed safety net. I kept wiping my phone, and had to roll back because my LG Watch needed Google Pay. Now that I have a Gear S3, I don't need Google Pay, but i also don't want to wipe right now. I wiped a few weeks ago, so just wiping to get the July security patch seems a bit silly....
