Your recovery (twrp) will back to stock recovery if you flash this stock rom ,you need to doing flash twrp after that,

Do i need to flash the original vbmeta.img for RealMe 5 , if I've previously flashed the modified vbmeta when flashing TWRP.
---------- Post added at 05:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:45 PM ----------
Do i need to flash original vbmeta.img after/before flashing the zip file provided.
Because I've previously flashed the modified vbmeta while flashing TWRP.

Did anyone get this to work properly?

i am already sucessfully back to android pie from realme ui c49 ,thanks for rom

Perfect!
works perfectly and is mostly debloated.
I'd first tried AOSP ROMs but they had some issues (some couldn't delete pics, others had mic issues, etc) so I decided to just restore Stock and buy an iPhone.
Glad to report after restoring this ROM, things work perfectly and it is SUPER LIGHT! Virtually ALL bloat apps removed! I'm soooo thankful!

Can I flash ColorOs full stock rom (zip format) with twrp? Not ota update.

[FIXED] Bootloops after flashing TWRP 3.1.0.0 on 2.17.401.2

Hello Guys..
Im HTC One A9, S-OFF. on European Nougat 2.17.401.2..
as you know 2.17.401.2 updates for European versions released barely a week ago, RUU is also available in Collection thread..
i tried official TWRP 3.1.0-0 & unofficial 3.0.3-8 on clean stock European Nougat 2.17.401.2..
TWRP was booting but system was trapped in bootloop i.e. phone was booting again and again..
DID ANYONE SUCCESSFULLY FLASH TWRP ON 2.17.401.2 WITHOUT BOOTLOOPS??
if yes, please let me know the procedure. Thank You

Did you mount system read/write at all? That's what it sounds like to me. You may need to restore a stock system image or flash an RUU, although a factory reset might solve it too.

yes i allowed modification to system by TWRP. Should i keep system read only?
Factory reset did not solve the probem.. should i flash system image or boot image again after flashing TWRP ?
will it fix the problem, start my phone normally keeping TWRP?
thank you..

Make sure /system is mounted read only until after you've flashed something (for example Magisk or Supersu) that removes dm-verity. If the reset didn't work you'll have to either flash the untouched system image backup or an RUU, no need to mess with the /boot image, and if you only flash the /system image backup it will keep TWRP.
[FIXED] TWRP 3.1.0-0 worked well on 2.17.401.2 :)
1. download TWRP 3.1.0-0 image file from official site.
You will find 2 versions for Hiae , american & European versions, please choose European version, download it.
2. flash twrp via fastboot, then boot into Twrp
3. choose system READ ONLY, dont allow modification by Twrp ( dont wory, twrp still can modify system if zip into system is flashed)
4. now boot into system.. But if you want to flash SuperSU then make a factory reset first then immediately flash latest supersu..

TWRP works perfectly on European versions 2.16.xxx.x & 2.17.xxx.x, you just need to remember couple of things..
1. download TWRP 3.1.0-0 European version from official site only.
2. Flash TWRP on a clean stock ROM or Do a factory reset first.
3. Dont allow TWRP to modify system when it asks for first time.
you can try again checking all things mentioned above.

your device encrypted?
Try this:
1. flash and boot to latest official TWRP for A9
2. choose wipe and choose Format Data (it will wipe everything on Internal Memory)
3. type yes and confirm formating data, if you see red text error reboot to Download Mode, reboot to Bootloader and enter TWRP recovery again.
4. repeat step 2
5. wipe cache & dalvik cache
6. reboot to system

I get "Failed to find entry META-INF" when I try to flash an updated Android image from developers.google.com/android/images with TWRP. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
You cant flash official image in twrp. If you want latest stock flash factory images.
Where can I find the regular Android images to flash via TWRP? I can't update OTA with TWRP installed, right?

you cant flash anything official with twrp, if you want stock. You can flash factory images from google site, or flash FakeNexus rom, wich is basically stock 7.1.2 from google pixel. I highly recomend it. You can flash it using twrp, here's the link https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298962272
flash it in twrp, in aroma choose what do you want, for kernel i recomend stock kernel (choose it in aroma)
---------- Post added at 20:07 ---------- Previous post was at 20:05 ----------
actually, i think you downloaded factory images, lol. Decompress the zip and flash files in fastboot like
fastboot -w update <drag the zip that was inside first zip>
fastboot reboot
You can use the Nexus root toolkit (nrt) to flash a stock image.

Is there a latest stock ROM I can flash instead of the custom ROM I'm using now?

I'm TWRP'd and Magisk'd running a custom ROM (Havoc}, but it's a little buggy. I'm looking to flash a stock ROM with the latest OxygenOS, and then maybe use a Magisk module over that.
Can I? And if so, can you point me to the correct custom ROM thread? I see a couple, but not sure which one is flashable, and which one is for restoring the phone to completely stock (removing TWRP, etc.).
I suggest using this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/rom-stock-fastboot-roms-oneplus-7-pro-t3931424

I don't think you can flash a stock ROM, and keep TWRP without flashing TWRP again. TWRP will always be removed when flashing a stock ROM, since recovery doesn't reside on it's own partition for this device, but rather is on boot.img, which by definition needs to be flashed with the ROM (contains the kernel).
AFAIK, you will need to flash the stock ROM then flash TWRP and Magisk again. To do that, fastboot flash the above linked stock ROM, then fastboot boot TWRP.img, then in TWRP flash TWRP installer zip and flash Magisk. Wouldn't take long to do, just have the TWRP zip and Magisk zip on the phone ready to go, before you flash the stock ROM.

assuming you didn't install twrp
So I just got my G7 today and did a quick setup during which it installed an OTA and then I went ahead and installed TWRP and Magisk. Shortly afterwards I get a notification that another OTA is available but now it won't install (as expected). Because I installed Magisk after TWRP I don't have a 'clean' boot image to rollback to in order to get the OTA - is the only option to reflash back to stock and start again but install Magisk before TWRP this time or is there another option?

CUstom ROM installation problem, please help

Hi to everyone. I have a european version of the op7 pro. The device produces an issue when using android auto, which I use daily (the bottom bar is rarely responsive to my touches whereas the rest of android auto works fine). So I wanted to try a custom ROM and see if the problem persists.
I tried multiple roms like havoc, aosip and lineage following the respective guides of installation, but regardless of the ROM, I always get stuck at the startup animation when I first try to reboot to system after installing twrp, magisk, gapps etc.
The only rom that seems to work is any version of OOS.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Exact what steps you do when installing a custom ROM?
U need to explain how you flash those OS; from my experience on OP6 -> flashing a third party rom need to update it' firmware to match the rom u try to flash, or else it cannot go into system definitely!
Steps :
Unlock bootloader
Boot twrp
Flash twrp
Flash rom
Flash twrp
Reboot to recovery
Once again flash rom
Once again flash twrp
Flash magisk
Flash gapps
Use international version instead of European. This mostly solves the issue.
Also steps should be.
Flash oos
Flash twrp
Reboot recovery

Reboot recovery
Format data
Flash rom
Flash twrp
Flash gapps (if required)
Flash magisk(if needed)
Flash dm verity (if needed)

You must Format internal storage before booting into Custom ROM.
Also, when you flash a Custom Rom, when it's done flashing, reboot once more to recovery and then flash the rest like Gapps, Magisk, etc... (Keep in mind that some custom ROMs require once time boot before flashing Magisk).
