Hi,
Is anti-rollback enabled on redmi note 6 pro?
Can I safely downgrade to MIUI 9 from MI UI 10 without any root or flashing process.
Applications provided by my company do not work on rooted phones and customer roms like lineage os and hence I am desperately looking to downgrade to MI UI 9.
In MI UI 10, I am unable to set separate notification ringtones for each app which is difficult for me.
For example in GMail app, under Setting -> Click on account ([email protected]) -> > Manage Notifications, the notification sounds can only be enabled or disable, but the notification tone cannot be changed.
The GMail app notifies with the default notification sound set in MIUI->settings->Sound and vinration->Default notification sound
Hence, I want to downgrade to MI UI 9 as I do not know if this will ever get resolved in MIUI 10

I called up xiaomi customer care here in India and found out the device is anti rollback enabled, so the device cannot be downgraded to MIUI 9 from MIUI 10.
The downgrade to MIUI 9 can be done by visiting the Xiaomi service center and it will cost Rs. 150 plus taxes to get the downgrade done.

Hi,
I am not spreading mis-leading information. I have actually confirmed with the xiaomi helpline representatives in India that RN6P is anti rollback enabled and it cannot be downgraded to MIUI 9 using recovery ROM.
In case you wish to clarify the same from your end, you can call up the Xiaomi India helpline on 1800 103 6286.
Hope this is what you were looking out for, if there is any other clarification I can help with pls do let me know. Thanks.

miFlash is just a "helper", even if you do manual mode, command flashing, it will jump errors on images when trying to flashing an old version. the phone does have antiroll back enable

Yea but they're wrong. Redmi note 6 pro comes with ARB 4 out of the box. The newest Verizon's are ARB 4 too. So it'll work. Go to MIUI forums and search, people have done it

Hello all, i have a Realme 5 Pro Eu version running the latest RMX1971_11_C.12 firmware but in 2020 after the Android 10/ColorOS 7 update, i had some issues. The battery drains faster, i lost the FM radio app and sometimes the fingerprint sensor does not work. I know there's an offical Realme rom to downgrade to Android 9 but i think it's from a different region (India?). I can't use a different region rom, right? On the Realme Europe support page, the roms are "RMX1971EU" but the offical Android 9 rollback back it's "RMX1971EX_11_OTA_2010_all" . What's the difference between EU and EX roms?

Thank you
I changed the region of my phone from EU to "Multilingual Version EX" with this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...dated-instructions-now-working-again.4143415/ and it worked because after rebooting i got the Theme Store and the FM Radio app again.
After that i flashed the phone with the official Realme 5 Pro Android 9 rollback rom and it worked too . I'm back to Android 9/Color 6 and both theme store and FM radio app remained. Now i'm on firmware RMX1971EX_11_A.20
So now let's see if both my battery drain and fingerprint sensor problems are solved. I think now i can unlock the bootloader too. Well, If you have an EU Realme phone and you want to change region for some reason, this method works.

Hello!
i Have a poco X3 NFC, and i have seen muny news about miui 12.5 enhanced edition being released for this phone, but i havent seen any updates so far, im curently using the MIUI Global 12.0.7 with andoid 10, when i search for updates it says that there is none available, do i have to manually update or just wait? is there any anouncements regarding OTA?
People who didn't update to Android 11 when it came out are now unable to get the update naturally. You can either unlock BL and flash with Mi Flash or take it to a service center to flash.

i never recieved an update for android 11, that really strange TBH, im going to ask in my local Xiaomi Store.
i have the same issue i literally bought my phone a week ago and iam still stuck at 12.0.9.0 with no updates
So I basically tried to unlock the bootloader to my Redmi Note 11 Pro + 5g and all I got was, "Mi Unlock is not supported by this device" . What the hell does that even mean??? Someone help
The only explanation i see is that the this version of the Redmi note 11 doesnt support mi unlock for the moment because its too recent

Oooh, shame then, I would have hopped Xiaomi adds support for their devices before actually releasing them
Yea would be good. I guess it sould be released soon
Update: i manage to solved the issue by flashing a EEA ROM instead of a global ROM (i flashed Global ROM before because i didnt know EEA mean Europe)

Maybe because updates dont release everywhere at the same time, its determined by the ROM
