How to sync with Google Account Contacts ?

Hello. I am really into a riddle : - How to get my Google Account contacts ?
On my previous phone it seems it worked out of the box, but on this - seems it does not.
Please help :|

for me it was enough to install google play services and the gapps

Download and install these. They are taken directly from Huawei's App Store so you won't have problems:

It says : Error occured while parsing the package for the 1st link.
BTW - I have google play installed.

If this helps - my phone is not rooted.

5.1.1 I just upgraded to the latest update.

Awesome! Just remember to go into Settings----->Backup & Reset and enable Back up my Data so it's backing up to your Google Account.

I should have came here first! search for hours. Just got the phone today and loving it. Thanks for the info.

Just search "Contact sync" in Huawei app store and choose to install the one from Google and you're good to go. Installing by apk always failed in my phone

Those two apk's were taken from the Huawei app store to ensure that they work properly.

Put the GoogleContactsSyncAdapter & GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter folders in system/app and set permissions (0755) then put the Phonesky folder in system/priv-app and set permissions then restart your phone.

No, then you have to open the Huawei app store and download the Play Store and Contacts Sync through there.

Netflix app not compatible with my device (FRD-L04)

Recently, I tried to install the Netflix app in my device, FRD-L04, and notice it didn't appear in the search in the Play Store. Then, I proceed to search for it using my PC, found it and when trying to install to my device, there was the message that the app was not compatible with my phone.
I'm currently running update B385 but I believe I had the app when I was using B360. Does anyone else have experienced the same issue? I had to go to Netflix webpage and from there, download the APK for old Android versions (4.4 and later).

That's because you have your phone rooted.
Simply search and download the early version of Netflix (Netflix-4.16.1 build 15145) and you got it running.

As far as I know, my phone is not rooted. Just an unlocked bootloader, unless that counts as being rooted. Which would be weird, because I can still install Netflix in my old Nexus 7, which is not only booloader unlocked, but also flashed with a custom rom.
Just checked with a couple root checker apps and both of them tell me that my device is not rooted.

Like Crake said, Netflix blocks downloading from devices with unlocked bootloaders, rooted or not. You can grab the latest APK from APKMirror, it should work fine.

And what about my Nexus 7 (2012) which is also unlocked and with a custom aosp rom?
Not trying to make a mess out of this. Just pointing out that it is weird that some devices do get blocked and other don't. I'll just download the apk and keep going. Thanks for your answers.

Check the SafetyNet status of your Nexus 7. Open Play Store settings, you should see at the downmost part that your device is certified.

In case of Snapchat u can download app but u can't login in. If ur saftynet is tripped then u can't download apps like Netflix and u also can't use payment solutions like Android Pay.
People aren't concerned abt safety net to protect themselves from attackers it is more for the proper functioning of apps and services on ur phone.

But as for me , i dont use atleast one app from the one's u mentioned above.
As for net , i use gsm cards so am sure no one is snooping my data.

What are Instant Apps?
Check out at Android Developers Website
How to enable them?
First make sure you meet the following requirements:​
Android Lollipop 5.0+ Device
Any Activity Launcher
Latest Play Store (Check through Play Store>Settings>Play Store Version)
Latest Play Services(Dont worry, Updates are automatically installed)
A working BRAIN!
Then follow these steps:​
Launch the activity com.google.android.finsky.instantapps.SettingsActivity
Select an account for Instant Apps
Follow the on-screen instructions
Let Google Play Services for Instant Apps download and install
Open Google Play Services(Lollipop:Through Launcher Icon, Marshmallow:Settings>Google)
Tap on Instant Apps and check if they are enabled
How can I use Instant Apps?
Search for an Instant App, say, Wish(more are given in the Android Devs Website), and see if there is written Instant. If there is, then tap on it to use it.
Why the title says "TESTING"?
They aren't available in my location. I haven't tested( and tasted) one yet.
I can't see Instant written in the card
They are probably not available in your country. Be sure to check if they work on MM+ and share the report with me.
I just enabled Instant Apps on my device. What now?

Also, works on my Nvidia shield tablet k1 with Nougat, latest FW.
I have do it on my mi2s with marshmallow but didn't work (after changes, instant apps doesn't show up on Google settings)

I successfully enabled instant apps but Google search still doesn't give me instant apps results.

As you guys maybe already aware of that, LZPlay website and the app as been shuting down. For people who already have downloaded the app, don't try it now, it won't work.

I just hope they find a way, otherwise this phone will surely be doomed.
The only solution, i think will be to unlock the bootloader. Or maybe @duraaraa and his team will find a solution...

Really doubt the apk in the video description would work. I don't think that tool is latest and can handle Mate 30 series

The original Lzplay.net method is working with my mate 30 Pro. The installed Google Apps still works now.
And the izplay.net is a fake site, don't try that

I bought one on Ebay obviously from China the seller said he woukd install Google apps for me I've bought a few phones from the seller is this for users that have not installed it yet it your good it already installed?

Hi guys i have firmware version 11.0.0.230 and today it wrote Play protect error... do you have some ideas how to fix it? I tried everything from ICTFIX but none of guides working... thanks for answer

I dont have any errors now, i disabled google play store from connection because everytime app updated itslef to newest version and then Play Protect error appeared... so i installed all app from AUrora store and its okay, but i am affraid if ill update Google services, gmail and other apps wont work like few tries before...

Try this:
I applied this solution and Google services (inc. push notif) have been working fine on my P40 Pro for almost three weeks now.
I learned there is not medium-long term solution for this issue. Sooner or later they will stop working.
We can only pray that Huawei ban will cease during 2022.
