Twrp needed!! - Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) Questions & Answers

In my previous post I noted that my RMM/KG appears prenormal but my bootloader IS unlocked. I'm wondering if anyone is able to change something in TWRP so the device and ODIN thinks it's an official binary? That way those of us with a prenormal knoxguard status can flash it. If its possible we could just apply the RMM fix zip file and that's it? It anyone can do this please! Kudos will be given

its not likely the TWRP file itself thats causing the issue. Even if the phone says that the bootloader is unlocked in developer settings, if it says prenormal in d/l mode, its locked. Go into dev settings, change the toggle to lock, wait 168 hours while leaving data on and not rebooting, then toggle the lock back to off. Reboot to d/l mode and if the bootloader state is "normal", then you will be able to flash TWRP (provided there isnt something else amiss)

My while problem is that I've already waited far beyond 7 days and my oem toggle is there and can be locked or unlocked however my KG state is still prenormal. Phone hasn't been turned off still and it's been 28 says now

Can't Flash CF Auto Rooter: Custom Binary (Recovery) blocked from FRP lock

I have a brand new G930F. I completed the setup process and got all my apps and settings configured.
I would like to root it, but when I try to flash chainfire's auto-root in ODIN, I get the message:
"Custom Binary (Recovery) blocked from FRP lock".
At which point I have to hold power till it dies and restart it.
I'm not bricked or anything, I just can't flash the rooter. Any ideas?

There are a few people who offer to turn it off remotely, but they're unclear when I ask if it would require wiping my phone.

FRP Lock

Hello!
My battery died and when I tried to charge the phone the splash screen appeared with a red text in the top left corner saying : Custom binary blocked by FRP Lock. After a few seconds the phone shuts down. Can't power on the device, can't boot into recovery.
I am rooted and using Aurora V21 custom rom (G935F).
How can I fix this issue?
at very 1st state just download the last available firmware release by date and flash on phone to revive in original state than just login with ur google account.

Will root acces be lost?
yes root will be lost but dont worry about root. just flash with stock as u can run phone to menu
Next time, also make sure to keep OEM unlocking and the developer options toggled on at all times.
I managed to restore my phone and got root again.
Thanks for all the informations!
Be careful to not toggle oem unlock and it won't happen again! Good chance

OEM lock

Hi all my g955f has oem lock. Can't enable it. Can't boot into system. Tried to flash twrp but says oem blocked custom binary. It was turned on but friend (who is quite cluey) turned it on by accident.
I have combination file for g955f
Can see ish debbing turned on. No oem unlock in combination file. So really stuck any help please
Just flash stock, then fix it. Your friend (Or you, if you're lying) probably has no idea what they're doing.
Lol I did delete efs folder a whole ago my friend did get it back. I did get my imei back. I showed him then he turned off OEM lock. The egg! So I have flashed stock. Can't flash dm verity file because won't flash custom binary because of lock

I had exact same problem...took it to Samsung...cost me £290 for a new board.
Had to pay coz warranty void coz i rooted it.
Matt
this is how I fix the problem.
if you have FRP Lock as well then remove FRP by combination file.
after remove FR, P the phone will still ask for WIFI during reboot
downgrade the phone firmware to G955FXXU1AQCA_OXM1AQCA.zip if possible
flash the lower version firmware
if you got boot error then do hard reset
after finish reboot
go to settings to reset the phone again (not hard reset)
you will remove the Knox problem.

Forgot Pattern Issues.

So I got a Samsung galaxy s7, and I left it at my mothers home when I had to take care of my grandmother. 3 months later, I seem to have forgotten the pattern I used and am locked out of the phone. I've tried a few different solutions to my problem and I can't seem to find a method to unlock the phone without losing all my data. Additionally I don't have TWRP installed and the usb debug mode is not enabled, I also believe airplane mode is on. My phone however is not carrier locked, if that makes any difference. Is there a way to bypass the pattern instead with finger print scan?
I've tried:
- Remotely unlocking the phone via wifi and "findmymobile.samsung.com" for whatever reasons my phone isn't connecting to wifi and I can't get it to unlock. Is there a way to enable wifi when its locked?
- Using "Aroma File manager", unfortunately I get an error message "signature verification failed" from my understanding I can disable this via "TWRP". However because my phone is locked I can't install it. Is there away to remove signature verification another way?
What option do I have left?
Thank you for all your help

Thank you for your response. I am aware you can use twrp to bypass a locked screen. The issue is, how do i install it if i'm already locked out and don't have usb debug mode turned on. Is there still away to install it?

You dont need usb debugging on. Just boot to download mode and flash twrp with odin

Question How to finally unlock this thing????

Noob here. I made an account just for this, but my phone is just refusing to give me that OEM unlock option.
I heard somewhere that the reason is that the KG state is prenormal, and to get it out you need to wait 7 days connected to the Internet and with a SIM card inserted.
And I don't have any SIM card, can't get one as well. I probably could if I didn't have to activate it. (which is also a question for me)
So is there any way to just bypass this SIM requirement? I would also want a 7-day bypass so I don't have to wait, but that's fine.
And this phone also can't get in download mode, like another thread on here. Just "Entering fastboot mode" red on black.
So, Instructions on fix? I know I just wrote an essay for this, and I WOULD show you a photo, but that error....
Update: KG STATUS is now COMPLETED in download mode. Yet still the option is missing....

If you figure out how to get the A32-5G (mine is SM326U) unlock option to show up in the Developer options, please let me know as I can't get my OEM unlock option to show up (grayed out or not).

Recently I wrote up how I got mine into Download Mode, among others.
How to un-freeze an unresponsive Samsung Galaxy A32 5G with reboot, reset, factory reset, odin mode, download mode, android recovery mode & debug mode
