What exactly are you trying to do? What modifications are you trying to make to the firmware?

For phones? Maybe
For printers? No.

Yeah no. What you're asking for can theoretically be done but it will require a lot of work reverse engineering the firmware, and by a lot I really mean it. Firmware is almost never open source so you won't find the source code anywhere.
What are you trying to do specifically?

Or possibly no one knows why you're having problems and they're not cluttering the thread with pointless responses like mine?

That information isn't available here, in fact, that's the first time I've seen anyone even mention anti forensics, you'll have to do some google searches to find your answer. Your question is very obscure so no one has an answer for you. Just because you asked does NOT guarantee that you'll get an answer, there is nothing that says anyone has to answer every single question.

Dude, that ROM is over 4 years old, too old for any links to still be maintained for it. You'll have to find someone that has a copy and have them upload it somewhere for you.
Also, if you read the last post in the thread linked below, this ROM was removed from XDA due to GPL violation, meaning the person who made the ROM did not provide proper kernel source as dictated by GPL regulations or maybe they stole someone else's work without their permission. This also means you won't get help here at XDA finding an illegal ROM, it isn't allowed here. Sorry, find it somewhere else. Had I known that to begin with, I would not have tried to help you.

Stock Firmware

I know the phone is still new, but is there any way to install the S8+ firmware that brings back the missing features that Verizon has removed? I'm not sure if someone else have already asked this question. Thanks!

Better start reading up on GSI and how to handle them first. No one might be able to elaborate on the pros, cons, and problems at hand in full depth for sure. Would take days to get those things explained to someone who's new. Modding in the end still is based on the willingness of a thorough self study about new ways and there basics, of those who want to use and try those ways out.
If you read up on it, and got some more context, it would be possible to helping there are specific questions on the details. But it ain't possible to explain everything, due to the massive changes.
