Google messanger won't pinch to zoom on my brothers pixel

I have a nexus 6 and I am using the same messaging app on 7.1.1 and my phone can zoom on a pic. My brothers pixel 5.0 won't zoom at all. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

none of the pixel 2 camera mods are working yet. need root with camera2api enabled!

8. Mi camera Universal port beta 0.03 (worked on first use but later on it showed camera not found error) new version is available but never worked
slow motion: works but very bad. only runs at 720p and screen turns into yellowish and pixelized quality. macro shots might be good
Lens Blur: Google camera is your only option with non root device for portrait pics and it works good but still cropping is not good at all
Note: Most of these cameras doesnt work flawless but too many Force closes. Try it and comment below for troubleshooting

1. Install the apk
2. open Play Music and goto settings nd choose the equalizer
3. dolby booster preset boosted the speaker volume by 30%. soo good!

I'm making a Oneplus 7 pro (stock) Vs Oneplus 7 pro (Gcam) video - Any advice?

Hi Guys, I'm new here. I'm a small tech youtuber from the UK. I'm thinking about making this comparison video. I've installed the Gcam mod 6.2.030
I'm just wondering if there's any settings I need to change before I start taking photos ect?

Gcam port for s7 exynos

You guys should try this idan Gcam port in your s7/edge and can anyone tell me that is it working for you guys, i've tried on my friend s7 edge(exynos only) seems to be working fine no tuning need just open and click the photos even portrait mode is working, just it's all working on Nexus 6 auto Hdr config which takes times to process not on the pixel 2017 zsl config if you guys know a work around that would be really, helpful. Personally i've been using it on my note 5 with pixel 2017 config and it's just takes amazing photos

Switching the video fps from 30 to 60 just made it freeze

Yea video recoding didn't work for me too on my note 5
Edit: my brother have snapdragon variant it worked just for one time only xd. but working smooth (only pictures) pixel 2017 config on my note 5

[APP] Gcam 7.2 for Moto Z2 Force

This version of gcam works good in android 9. There are some bugs such as video recording. The exact version is this PMGC_7.2.014_Relesed_V1.apk [ https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog901/ ]. I also expecting the new released version of 7.3 to port.
I would like to find a version that uses both lenses simultaneously but I haven't ended up. Some other smartphones that have monochromatic lens are Honor 10, Honor 9 dual, Huawei p10+, mate 10 pro etc. It might be possible that some versions, which were referred to another dual-lens smartphones, would work in our moto z2 force. I've already found a version of Gcam that can enable the secondary monochromatic lens. But, as long as I tried to find the correct settings I couldn't make a shot happen.
One more pros is the ability to capture a video through the app.

Were you able to get the normal (color) video to work?
When I press record it goes on for 1 second and then stops without recording any video on every version and config of gcam I've tried.

Yes I could by pressing down the photo for some seconds. But now, I have updated to v2.9.1, more steady but I still cannot take pictures from B&W sensor : https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog1451/
