Help me please, My oneplus 7 pro not booting - OnePlus 7 Pro Questions & Answers

My oneplus got stuck on lock screen so i rebooted it, and now its stuck on bootloader unlocked messege. its so random i didnt do anything special!!!
in twrp i cant flash anything because it wont let me decrypt. i tried to press all the buttons with all the variations and it doesnt help..
i really dont want to format data! is there any way to fix it? thank you very much

This is confusing, as you say you are stuck on the bootloader unlocked message, but then you say you can't flash anything in TWRP (can't decrypt). Can't be both, you are either stuck on bootloader unlocked screen, or you aren't.
Also, were you doing anything when you got stuck on the lock screen, or did it just happen spontaneously?

thanks for answering, it just happen spontaneously.. by writing stuck on unlocked bootloader messege i meant the device is not booting to oxygen os and just stays on this messege. i can freely boot to twrp but its useless because i cant mount data. thanks again

Changed recovery and now TF700 won't stop rebooting (makes it all the way to Android)

Hey guys, I was gifted an Asus TF700, unlocked with TWRP and an unknown ROM.
I was looking to upgrade the ROM so I tried putting Philz Recovery on the tablet by flashing the .zip in TWRP. Then I flashed a new ROM in Philz and here's where the problems start.
The tablet will boot all the way into Android, and I can use the tablet for anywhere from 10-60 seconds before it reboots. If left alone it would stay in this boot loop until the battery would die.
Now I just want to start over. I can't boot into recovery as hard as I try. It just stays at the Asus screen or restarts.
Any ideas?

This sounds like you installed a ROM that requires a newer bootloader than the one you have installed, and you skipped the instructions of that ROM that said you have to install a compatible bootloader.
Other than that, your post is devoid of useful information. You flashed "a new ROM", and you "can't boot into recovery as hard as I try.". What did you flash, what did you try?

I flashed CMB 4.4.2 and I've tried every button combo I could (power + vol down, power + vol up, power for a really long time, both volume buttons for a really long time, power + both volume buttons for a really long time). Occasionally I'd make it to the screen with four options but I couldn't select anything with volume up.
I'm new to this stuff and I just kinda assumed I had the right boot loader. Oops.
Do I have any options?
When it reboots again, you should be able to go to the bootloader menu by holding down volume-down (left). Then enter your recovery and flash the correct bootloader.

Doesn't work. Tried both left/right volume buttons without holding the power button while it rebooted. Asus logo flashes once and then goes to the CMB ROMS screen.

So can you get to the bootloader screen? Can you PC see your devices in fastboot??
Sorry I'm not exactly sure what the boot loader screen is. Could you elaborate?
I'll try fastboot tonight and report back but I'm afraid to try anything because the tablet really doesn't last long once it's in Android.

When you boot your tablet in the screen with the RCK where you enter recovery but you don't do anything once there that is your bootloader screen and it will say in the upper left hand corner you should see something about fastboot protocol and you bootloader version also... Let me know thx lj
What is your PC's OS??
If you see 4 icons then you are in an old outdated boot loader. Don't do a while what ever you do.
You'll need to flash the latest boot loader over fastboot.

Um. What? RCK? Sorry, I only see three different screen: Asus (says Device Unlocked or something in top left), big ugly CWM graphic, and then the Android lock screen (which I can unlock and use Android for ~30 seconds).
Running Windows 8.

Yeah I haven't been able to get back to that four icon screen. So where can I get the latest boot loader, and do I have to be booted into Android to flash it? How long does it take?
Trying to see if my device is recognized by fastboot now...
Alright, just got the minimal ADB/fastboot installed and when I type "adb devices" it returns my Asus's serial number. "fastboot devices" doesn't return anything.
Seriously, I only get around 20 seconds before this thing resets. Any ideas for what I can do next?
EDIT: I made it to the boot loader some how ??? Four icons, first of which is RCK. Only stays at this menu for 10 seconds, it doesn't seem like the volume rockers do anything.
Thanks for your help this far folks!
EDIT 2: Keep trying to get back to the boot loader screen. Sometimes it boots into safe mode...
EDIT 3: HOLY **** I GOT IT INTO RECOVERY WHAT DO I DO NOW (nothing comes up on adb devices/fastboot devices)
EDIT 4: Ok I've made it into recovery with the bootloader on a micro SD card (from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2577165) and tried to install the zip.
It says: assert failed : write_raw_image("/data/media/blob", "staging")
E:Error in /storage/sdcard1/TF700_10.6.1.14.10_US_Boot_TWRP_2610_Signed.zip
Is this because I'm using Philz Recovery?
EDIT 5: Alright grabbed the right bootloader (from http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=4006) and I'm getting the same exact error. (Status 7). Any ideas?
BUMP -- any ideas how this Status 7 error can be resolved?

Ok, it took like 5 resets to get this, but the screen with four icons reads
USepad-10.4.4.25-20121228
in the top left.
When I get to recovery, it says Philz Touch 6, Clockworkmod v6.0.4.7
Any ideas?

Ah, sorry, didn't see that. Message sent!
Managed to flash TWRP from fastboot and it seems like the tablet is running a lot longer after a factory reset. Still rebooting around 2 minutes in. Every time I try to flash an updated bootloader though it gives me an error (even when I uncheck MD5 sum check). I'm having trouble getting my tablet to show up under My Computer, and in TWRP it's not picking up my micro SD card....

Unable to boot into TWRP after unlocking bootloader and successfully installing TWRP

Hi! Yesterday I unlocked my bootloader successfully. My Honor6X is the European BLN-L21 version. When I bought the device EMUI 4.1 was preinstalled and I made official upgrade to EMUI 5. After unlocking bootloader yesterday I installed latest TWRP from our TWRP-thread. All was successfull but there was a big problem. I can´t boot into TWRP recovery. When I power phone there is always the "warning, bootloader is unlocked" screen. When I press volume up button the phone boots into erecovery but not into TWRP! Otherwise when phone is fully powered OFF, I press volume up and power button at the same time. Then device starts booting and the booloader screen appears again. This time there is instantly the "device is booting now" screen but then nothing happens anymore and i have to restart phone manually.
SO PROBLEM IS: I can´t get into recovery.
Has anyone an idea why i have this problem and someone is able to help me or might know a way to fix this bug/issue?
It would be very nice if someone could help me.
BTW: Is it normal that when I restore/flash full system image via erecovery that the bootloader is locked again?
Best regards, Felix

[Recovery] Stuck in TWRP splash screen and cant boot into anything else

As the title says, I flashed TWRP onto my S7 and now it only boots into TWRP and its stuck on the splash screen. Any help will be appreciated since this is my main phone, I thought I could do it since I have done this on my S3 before.

No. Nothing. Maybe sometimes I can get into fastboot or recovery (but it comes up with a green screen saying An error has occurred while updating the device software) I've really messed my phone up XD. Is there anything else I can do? It doesn't seem I can boot to anything now (not even fastboot).

Device stuck at bootloader unlocked screen

Today I had a strange issue with my Oneplus 7 pro GM1913 running OOS 9.5.5, device unlocked, twrp and rooted. My device ran out of charge and was turned off. When I plugged into the charger, it boots up and for a few second the oneplus logo and charge the device for some time page came in and then the bootloader unlocked screen came in. I haven't charged the device offline after the battery ran out, it was my first time and i thought it was supposed to be like that. But after some time also it was on the same page. Then i plugged out the device and it was stuck on that page. I tired hard reboot, tried to connect to computer. Nothing was successful. Computer showed unknown device and failed to successfully connect. Not recognised as adb device shown nor fastboot device. Then atleast I tried entering into fastboot mode by pressing power button + volume up. At that time it rebooted into system and then everything was okay. But then i noticed i also lost the twrp recovery. Then i had to flash twrp through magisk manager.
Anyone has any idea what happened? Thanks in advance
You have to flash magisk again after flashing TWRP.

Stuck at the bootlogo
Hey guys, i hope i get some help from here.. tried to root my one plus 7 pro international version installed twrp everything worked fine... and after that i tried to reboot in system mode.. now im stuck at the bootlogo with the red middle dot and the 2 white ones. i cant even turn it of now.. no command are working... can anybody help me to fix this pls?
Thanks!!!
I had exactly the same problem. System was running fine with just Magisk installed (I boot TWRP with fastboot on a computer).
Then I ran completely out of charge, and the OP7Pro wouldn't boot anymore: at power on, it shows briefly the OnePlus logo, then displays the boot loader unlocked warning for a very long time (a few minutes), then goes to the bootloader menu.
I can boot TWRP and unlock the data partition. I will try flashing the stock boot and see what happens (and report).
Edit: I had to reflash stock boot and system to have the device boot again.

I figured it out. basically when i get to the above attached image I was required to hold volume up+down+power key until the fastmode doesn't comes up. It will take 20-25 seconds. So you will be required to hold it for that long.

Huawei Watch 2 Pro (Shawshark) stuck in horrible bootloop

My relatives have gotten this watch gifted to them a while back but it was in chinese so to get it to English I had to unlock bootloader and flash the room. But while doing so I by mistake flashed twrp instead of booting into it on the Recovery Partition right after unlocking bootloader and after rebooting, it was stuck in a horrible bootloop. Why is it horrible?
So the problem is, it keeps booting into twrp, fails to mount data cache and everything, shuts down and reboots again, shows a warning that it can't detect an operating system and continues to boot into the same twrp recovery and so on. When I try to boot into bootloader, it says to go to g.co/ABH and read instructions to proceed, but after holding down the button to continue to boot, it goes back to the same bootloop.
I cannot boot it into bootloader or get it into fastboot, I can't do anything in twrp and I can't boot into os (cause of course, there is none). Does anyone know how I can fix this? I've been struggling for 4 hours with this today. I'm really scared that I've completely bricked it and can't restore it .
I can see it in adb devices while it's in twrp and twrp is freaking out then shutting down, but I can't even side load a rom to even install something I can boot into.
Link me a thread if there is one where this problem gets fixed or help me please. Thank you!
