If you want to shot using pixel 3 camera, you may need this mod
BSG Pixel 3 GCAM Mod : MGC_6.1.021_MI8_V2a
Download on celsoazevedo (all link at bottom post)
I tested it. Just enable Buffer fix and disable Google photos in setting, it can shot 10 photos HDR continuously (I don't test above it) but there will be a pause each shot (about half second). When I open gallery it showing 7 photos queued, 2 photos processing, and 1 photos processed. Whenever it crash, HDR still process, so you won't lose your photo. But until now I never rarely crash. Don't ask front camera, it won't work on pixel 3 camera, take pixel 2 camera for front camera.
This is my setting, and it's work perfect:
I install camera patch v2
Motion: for smooth off, for enable top shot auto/on
Video res: 4K (cannot record on low light)
Stabilization: on
Advanced: dirty lens off, HEVC on, HDR control off, RAW off
BSG MOD setting:
HDR+ Parameter: min 2 max 7 (change whatever you like, I use 2 for faster process)
Photos: disable
Libs: Savitar
FIX: Motion on, Buffer fix on, viewfinder motion and AE on
How to get top shot:
Install latest daydream and Google photos (daydream) from apkmirror. If you cannot update app, uninstall photos update first.
From here, your motion photos will get top shot selection by go to picture info

Front cam doesn't work mates,
Hello OP, I tried V2 patch. It is terrible. When I chose to capture video, i feel like I'm zooming in. I have to revert back to V1 patch. Even with V1, I can have front camera work in gcam 5.1 and night sight in G cam 6.1

Have you follow step to enable top shot?
Install "Google photos (daydream)" and daydream, take it from apkmirror
Also enable motion when taking photos
Anybody know how to fix issue gcam video slow motion option crash the apk
Seems to be a common issue but I can't find a solution
So take a photo with Gcam go to gallery and it's not saved there.
It sometimes saves in Google photos

update to the newest Arnova or Urnyx apks, problem is fixed.
Gcam Pictures not saving in Gallery, Asus Max Pro M1.Please give solution.
I would like to know if there is any way to install the gcam on our huawei that improves the video and photos that are taken with the camera that comes from the factory. Do any of you know if it can be installed and if so how to install it?
Not much support from for gcam on huawei, only version 7.2 i think can be supported but some modes wont work or crashes app, you can also try the Camera Go (GCam Go), try different versions and play around with settings, portrait mode, hdr works and images are taken in 50mpxl too

Hi there,
I have a working Lineage running without Google-Services.
Right now, I have the GCam by MCG working with GCAM Provider, to get it running.
As far as I understand, I need the Google Photo App, to watch motion photos, but GCAM Provider mimics the Signature of the Google Photo app.
So right now I don't know if there is a way, to get GCam with Motion Photos to work with Lineage but without GApps.
Do you have any idea?
