I'm still asking for help from anyone who might have a solution to my problem. My device does not have enough room to install GAPPS.
If anyone would have a way to integrate gaps in the ROM or to be able to enlarge the system partition or give me the list of applications that I could unintall without creating any additional problem to have enough space or even any other solution , Sela would save my phone.

PS: I have already followed the instructions of the proposals in the posts to begin my sela did not succeed.
i had the same problem, there is a file you need to delete from inside the gapps zip before flashing it, its called "app_sizes.txt"

i have try this too but when i finish flash the gapps the phone fixing in the boot animation and not continu.
meby i not installing all corectly but is not working for me.

I used .gapps-config file, there's a description of how to use it on the opengapps github page but essentially my xt1032 needed Pico apps and:

You can install GoogleTTS later when you have a working Play Store.

Hello, I am a newbie to this forum, but I have already read many posts before making my first thread. I have HTC HD2 (LEO), I have installed NAND Android (dorinmax ROM) with CWM 7, it works perfectly, the system is stable. I made it with SWAP & with SD EXT partition 1GB, no issue till then. But I have problem with market, I get error "Error downloading "Angry birds" there is insufficient space on the device" everytime I try to download and install ap bigger then 2.5 MB, so I am really confused, I have read all possible themes about it, like coding in terminal, wiping cache or Davlik cache and others. also I tried to install marketfix (didn't help). So I have tried all possible options except downgrading Market (but I don;t know how, mine is 3.4 already installed with dorinmax latest ROM). So someone, please help with us. Thank all of you in advance. I would be appreciated if devepoler of dorinmax ROM will answer & help to asssist. Cheers!
Hey guys, aren anybody concerned about it. I downloaded & installed this android for many apps! and what I get - market that doesn't work. it took me 5 hours to do that. and know I understand that new version of this google market doesn't work and they have no solution. I'll donate a small sum for those developer who will help me fix this or downgrade my market so it will work again.

This thread doesn't help, I tried to install old market with ADB, but it writes that there is an error, unable to find root or patch. SO, PLEASE HELP!

this is the link to the various builds of cm 12.1 https://cloud.mail.ru/public/3SBd/vVnPaUJ4C/ , however the one which has 20150923 in its name doesn't seem to boot up after flashing so i have flashed the one with 20150309 in its name which boots up fine and works pretty well.

Now, i tried PA Gapps mini and cyanogen 12.1 Gapps but they didnt work for me but AFH Gapps did work. You guys can try the former ones as there might have been some issue at my side.
The IMEI lost problem is there which can be solved by either restoring IMEI numbers using MTK or this zip http://1drv.ms/1FNtZUj. This may not be a permanent fix and the SIM not detected error may start showing up after a reboot but, it can be fixed by re-flashing this zip at recovery OR another rather stupid looking workound XD XD by turning on the airplane mode before rebooting and then switching it off after the boot up has finished.
I couldn't find the "Select default storage option" in the storage settings nor could i find the select preferred app installation location option in the Apps settings, so i found a workaround for linking the /sdcard in the root folder to /storage/sdcard1. Here is the script for it which has to be run everytime after booting the device in the terminal emulator:
1. first gain root privileges by entering su int the terminal.
2. type: mount -o bind /storage/sdcard1 /sdcard
That's it!! Now the default storage is your external sd card, one drawback of this is that you can't access the internal storage. If you want to access it, reboot your device and everything will revert back. if you want to set the default storage to the ext sd card, follow the above steps again.
THE PROBLEM: Apparently apks dont get installed most of the times even after enabling Unknown sources in the developer options, i don't know if this is the problem of google services or something, i would like someone to help out with this issue.
EDIT 1: The one which has 20150923 in its name boots up just fine, it needs more than one time dalvik cache deletion and factory resets.

This rom has several bugs. The only one version i still prefer to use is 151129 version
The latest 151202 doesn't booting after flash. Seems there's something wrong with boot.img
Anyway, i wish the developers will keep research and improve this rom to fix the bugs

No new updates have been release
I'll check the builds again and report back if i find any fixes for the bugs ASAP

Hi, All, I am new here, currently, my friend gave me this tablet, n808, unbranded.
It is Baidu kind of system running, however, every time I use play store, it will stop it. so I can't install any non-Chinese ( in location ) Apps.
what I wish to do are:
1 ) clear the recovery partition and has a new one.
2) remove the os and have any other one
need a recommendation for using what tool and ROM
anythings else, please contribute

Without a device tree, there is no way to build a custom ROM. Unless of course you know how to extract them from the Tablet

I am compiling android10 from AOSP sources and I do modify the android runtime and the compiler for a research project. Since those all security stuff make things difficult for me I have enabled adb root (https://android.googlesource.com/platform/system/core/+/master/fs_mgr/README.overlayfs.md).
So after this rooting and mounting anything is not an issue
I do need however to install the Google stuff, and I've used to do this on older phones. I can boot into a TWRP recovery (not permanently flash it), and install a Gapps micro version for ARM64. The installation process seems OK, but nothing appears permanent after reboot.
Any idea how to do this? Has anyone used successfully TWRP for android10?
(even by just booting into it?)
I can provide more info if required. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
PS for some reason the website looks horrendous and the post editing tools for adding links for example do not work.

I had my oneplus one unused for a while and wanted to make some use out of it.
So i installed twrp and tried flashing lastest custom rom into it.
I was successful in flashing official Lineage and rr remix to it,but whenever i try to install gapps,it says no enough space in the system partition.
I tried resizing it through the wipe menu but that somehow doesn't work,i.e. the size of system remains the same,which i tried after installing os.
I hope this info can atleast give you a brief idea what i am talking about,any help is appreciated.

This was pretty straight forward,how did i miss that.This worked for me,installed with Lineage OS.Thank you very much.
I tried installing lineage 18 onto one of my other device for which i was able to install open gapps pico,i don't know why it won't work for opo.
As i am not able to increase my system partition from twrp,i think there is some different issue aswell,i don't have enough understanding of these stuff to understand what the problem is.
I tried installing open gapps with rr remix aswell,but recieved the same error.
Anyways, thank you so much,i really appreciate your help.

Only issue I had was being able to install Magisk. Couldn't use TWRP and patched boot.img method which worked a treat.
