It is not available. There is no global beta anymore. Only global stable..
There is a 9.10.10 Xiaomi.eu, but delayed for us (maybe tomorrow)
Running now

I changed the post. I was running closed beta of 9.10.10 and thought that was same link. Xiaomi dropped the mix2s build after all the other devices.
FYI xiaomi.eu has released a 9.10.11 build for mix 2s!

You can dirty flash bug that could be bad. Our device went from miui 10 android 9 to miui 11 android 10. This is a big change and doing a clean flash really should be done to avoid any issues.
I flashed the latest Chinese beta and I am not impressed.
Got a lot of stuttering when playing videos and some other performance issues. Wouldn't recommend installing it.
Maybe wait for Xiaomi.eu stable debloated version...using arrow 10 right now which is snappy, stable and nice to use overall. With Mipa kernel I get 7h sot with no problems. No heavy usage though.
What I find very annoying is anytime I want to try a different ROM I would have to copy my whole backup to my PC because if the ROM I want to try out fails to boot I lose everything because you can't decrypt your files if that happens....
I only have an SSD in my PC which is too full for the size of my backup but also will take ages to copy... 38 GB. Huge considering TWRP says that it doesn't backup and videos, photos or downloads....
I might go back to factory MIUI soon. Can't get the full potential of a rooted phone with that encryption crap. [emoji3525]

I'm having problems with the upgrade.
What MIUI 10 ROM was you running before the update?
I'm in MIUI global stable 10.3.6 ROM, with unlocked bootloader and TWRP 3.3.1-1 recovery. If I flash MIUI 11 EU 11.0.2 zip in TRWP the phone frezze on boot and it I try the system updater, I get the message: "can't verify update" "it's not allowed to upgrade to unoficial ROM package".
Any ideia?

Please don't be smarter than you actually think you are ok? This is true photo because I made it. Its a teaser that xiaomi.eu version exists. Its just not posted anywhere. Thats all. Why would I post my rom anywhere? Its for me and not for you so...
And it seems you don't even have MI4c because you have 0 idea about its CPU...
I installed with XiaoMiFlash and fastboot oem edl method. Booted and works But also twrp recovery is gone and device cant install twrp without unlock bootloader. I will surely not try downgrade for unlock bootloader but wait for a Bootloader unlock token from Xiaomi (hope it comes)
You can unlock MI4c in 5 minutes anytime, so you can lock it with chinese rom, test and the unlock to use xiaomi.eu rom. No problem with this model.
Great to hear that it works! get you OTA to the next Version?

First, it was another user that posted the picture! Second, did the little boy get offended :crying:? I could not careless if you did or not ! Learn to read first and second learn to reply with an valid argument\explanation instead of getting worked up for no good reason and offending others in the process! And do you really think that i will believe it's true just because you are saying "This is true photo because I made it", dude i don't know you or the user that posted the picture!
Anyway, i went and asked ingbrzy about it and he confirmed, so it's real.

No because I don't care who believes in what. I don't need to show anyone anything. Besides as you see I posted this photo on my forum and not on XDA to tease users just the fact the rom is made. I just defended the photo that its actually true because... why not? Its easy for us to make such rom. Of course its not working now as intended due to no updated TWRP...

TWRP compatibility:
New TWRP is needed - touchscreen is broken again.
Download the updated TWRP 3.1.0-0 for this weeks release here: https://www.nextgen-networks.de/downloads/category/7-xiaomi-mi-mix.html
Works ONLY with Android 7.0 Nougat based weekly ROMs provided by:
XIAOMI.eu
With this release screen keeps unusual dark.-> Workaround: Set brightness to max in TWRP.
Final fix would be to build TWRP from the scratch based not yet released Android 7 / Nougat kernel.
Fun fact:
XIAOMI itself seems to provide an Android 6.0.1 / MM based weekly dev rom -> http://bigota.d.miui.com/7.5.11/miui_MIMIX_7.5.11_98fc76ffa8_6.0.zip

Sorry for the probably stupid comment, I ask this out of utter lack of knowledge and in good faith: why is it funny and, as I understand, foolish for xiaomi to look for beta testers for a Nougat based rom? Is it because xiaomi.eu has been doing that already? Am I missing everything out?

I believe the context here is that it is that it is simply of interest that an official Nougat release is announced / ready for beta test.

Yes thats correct.
You don't need the updated TWRP for Updating via the updater app because the app cripts the Update process.
The updated TWRP is needed right after first boot of the new ROM, because it uses an new kernel and touchscreen driver.
To make the touchscreen working in TWRP again this driver das to be integrated in TWRP.
Cheers!

The context is ment a little different:
To understand it you should know, that xiaomi.eu is not directly connected to the official xiaomi company.
Therefore It would be interesting to know where the sources for the Android 7 / Nougat ROM that can be downloaded on xiaomi.eu come from.
Because on the official server on http://en.miui.com you can download the Android 6 / Marshmallow based weekly rom only and in the official forum there is an announcment for an upcoming closed beta test for an Android 7 / Nougat ROM that will start next week only.

Unfortunately had to go back to MM. I get crazy NLPWakelocks in both MM and Nougat builds, but on MM with xposed I can control them manually.
Better wait for official Android N based MIUI ROM.
None of the bugs mentioned from this source are present on official ROM by Xiaomi released today.
proximity sensor did not work - screen stays on while talking with pone next to ear => looks like can fix by:
In about screen , press 4 times in the kernel version then go to Hardware test mode:
do proximity sensor test and then this issue seems fixed,
Proximity sensor it work!!! I install rom Miui.eu, make backup this rom, next wipe , instal resurrection remix(very nice rom) wipe and restore my Miui.eu rom. Sorry fo my english

I haven't updated to MIUI V9.6.4.0.OEIMIFD Stable, because I bought my phone a couple of days ago and I'm thinking of unlocking it and installing a custom ROM. Should I see the update? Or I have to update one version at a time (no skipping updates)?

You can update directly to latest version... since your are interested in custom ROM dont update to latest version because xiaomi introduced AntiRollback Protection and it will creates lots of problem.. if your present ROM is 9.5.17 or below then you are safe from antirollback protection..

Getting couldn't verify update error when flashing this over 8.9.13 using updater.
Is there notification priority on the global stable MIUI 10 ? It's still not on global beta but it is on China beta .. so I'm asking

You can put back MIUI after flashing custom rom...
Do you have 720 hours before flashing now? or it is still 320 hours? (Because that's a long time to wait).
MIUI has a lot of what I call bloatware, to me its not great, I clearly bought the phone for the HW and putting the rom I like.
But then, after flashing LineageOS; I also add Gapps which also install some unwanted junks (from google). I can of course take a "lighter version" of GApps like "nano", what I'm saying it's like trial and error to see what's best. Rather than thinking about it, do!

First, you need to install 9.6.4 using the updater. Then you can install miui 10 on 9.6.4. That way you don't get the error.

This morning the updater sent me notification that new update miui 10 is available but when I open the updater... It says no updates available. Anyone know how to fix that? Mine is currently 9.6.4.0 China stable. Sorry for my bad English.
Which region received the update ?

First batch of update is rolling out worldwide. First batch means some random users got OTA update for feedback purpose, if everything is good then Xiaomi will roll out OTA update to everyone and download link will be available in MIUI download page. Yesterday I got OTA update.. it's really nice update so this is going to be stable release for everyone

Yes I am "safe" from the Anti Rollback Protection feature, but I am still torn between getting a custom AOSP ROM or sticking to MIUI (with OTA updates / 2-year warranty / etc).

Then you have to flash firmware less MIUI ROM or else go for official update (but it will trigger antirollback protection) I dont have any problem with antirollback. But everyone uses their mobile differently so it's up to you whether to stay on anti3 or upgrading to anti4.
My suggestion is to stay on anti3 and flash firmware less ROM or else unlock bootloader and flash any custom ROM, you can always return back to MIUI ROM and Xiaomi will give MIUI update for a longer duration(in terms of years)
Hi, heared about Xiaomis Anti rollback function,
But for Mi Mix 2S theres no Rom that have it yet included, right?
So my question: Can i downgrade from Global Dev Android Pie to Stable Rom Android Oreo without bricking my phone?
If not, than whats the best way to make factory reset without root and without TWRP (don't wanna root my phone yet!), Factory Reset via Settings or Xiaomi Recovery?
No, i believe mix 2s hasn't implemented that yet. You can check out devices with arb at the official forum
Actually i just performed a downgrade from 8.9.7 to miui 9 couple days ago.
Just go on and flash it via fastboot. Everything should be fine.

Ok, don't know how to do it via fastboot, before i read how to do this without root, i first try with manually flash it via systemupdate function - stable over global dev
Ok via systemupdate dosnt work... Can you quick explain what commands to flash and wipe everything (also emmc)? Have downloaded this bigota.d.miui.com/V10.0.2.0.ODGMIFH/miui_MIMIX2SGlobal_V10.0.2.0.ODGMIFH_ddc8dcd78e_8.0.zip

I see everyone trying to downgrade to stable global , but my question is why ? I changed to beta to have the latest changes so i will keep beta... I know myself and if i change to stable , in months i will change again to beta
I can tell you that for me after upgrade to pie a few apps cant access to mobile data or wifi to download data (need for speed no limits, soccer royale, also Aral Tanking App dosnt work)
I multiple checked everything why this happens, after unlocking bootloader the factory reset on global beta also make no different - also no connection to download data! Of course Wifi worked well... Thats the reason why i want to go back to stable oreo!
Can you plz give me link with tutorial or write comments to flash latest stable rom with all wipes?
I am fine if i flash latest stable with XiaoMi Tool? Have unlocked bootloader so all will be fine?

I'm a little confused about version number. I'm running MIUI Global Developer ROM 8.9.20. All's good, it auto updates once a while. Stable ROM is at version 10.0.2.0. So 10 is higher than 8 Or do these ROMs have unrelated version numbers? Also does developer ROM get updated to stable once it's complete?

They're using the date of release for the beta ROMs.

The developer ROM is always more up to date than stable. You'll always stay on the developer ROM, you won't get updated to stable.

Currently I have a 12 pro and I am waiting for the release of the 13 pro.
On the 12 pro in A12, the battery lasted 24 hours, with A13, I sometimes reach 35 hours, but the average is more like 30 hours.
I only use Xiaomi Eu roms.
That`s good! What about SOT, how much you get on a 24 hours cycle?

Check rather on this site for the updates because the type of rom is specified, to avoid any disappointment.
14.0.13.0.TMCCNXM is a STABLE BETA.

It's possible, for a few years Xiaomi has been updating beta versions on the Stable channel and even sometimes renaming the beta to stable without any bug fixes.
The stable version is V14.0.9.0.TMCCNXM.
To avoid the DEV version, sometimes the Beta have no bugs but a half chance.
The best thing is not to update and wait for feedback.
i am still on 14.0.9.. although 14.0.11 is out allready for 2 weeks
In my opinion, it is advisable to update, and for the simple fact that the latest Android Security Update is updated...

I have often used Xiaomi with the security date more than a year old without problem.
If the rom is buggy, force unlock the bootloader and use Miflash to downgrade.
I'm not claiming that this rom is bugged but if it is?

Sometimes it happens later, depending on the region selected (if the choice exists). or Xiaomi has finally rectified its position on Beta via the Stable channel.
