Hello there - Is it possible for us to change the default location where the camera stores pictures and videos? More specifically, is it possible to directly store the pics and videos taken by the camera on a NAS drive location instead of the internal storage?!
If yes, can someone guide me on how this can be done.
Many thanks in advance.
Best,
JT

Hi,
I came from an old LG G3 but before that one I used to have the Nexus 4.
With Google Camera i was able to shoot photos and then watching them with the old Google (Stock) Gallery found in Nexus 4. That app allowed to watch such images rotating and tilting the phone and even creating small pianets.
Now on my Oneplus 6 I was trying the GCam port and I was shooting some photosphere but... In the stock Oneplus gallery I can't see them in other ways except on a single rectangular image. So I tried Google Photos (that I thougth it was the successor of Google Gallery) but even with Google Photos I cannot see photosphere in a good way.
How can i watch them rotating and tilting the phone, or creating planets from image etc like we used to do back in the years?
Thanks
Google photos allows you to do this if you click the compass in the lower left.
No it don't.. Maybe GCam mod don't "mark" the photo as photosphere?
You can view them with the original apk or maybe google photos
Seems to be a common issue but I can't find a solution
So take a photo with Gcam go to gallery and it's not saved there.
It sometimes saves in Google photos

When u use HEIC files format in the camera the photos won't get backup to Google photos. Anyone having the same problem?
That's Google Photo problem, it doesn't support HEIC format.

I have the same issue. Alternatively, you can go to the gallery app and upload photos to Google Photos in bulk. They'll be converted to .Jpg though. Else you can just change the format that pictures are taken in by default

HEIC photos from xiaomi don't have exif data and that's why Google photos don't like them. Xiaomi knows about issue for few months.
iPhone 7 HEIF uploads fine to the same Google Photos account that my Xiaomi MIUI 12 phone is trying to upload HEIF to, and it fails. (images shows a crossed out cloud icon)
Switching off HEIF on MIUI 12 and it uploads fine as jpg
Google's closed the loophole and apparently blocks HEIF though Android 10 offers it

Hi since yesterday i know a problem with my A127f , if i use other apps to get pictures from cam, i'ts not posible to select the 48 MP sensor.
In detail i use DocSan - an application which helps to scan books etc. because of the Size of the book high resolution is necessary. If the pictures from cam is taken only 2 cams are for example selectable in openCam. So the question for me is how to get high resolution Pictures outside the original cam app.
Also i ask me if a alternative firmware would help, at this time my Handy has the newest origin samsung firmware.
It would really interesting if someone has experience how to get access to 48MP Cam, or if someone know that it is not possible.
Best regards, Frank
Will break everything except motioncam, pick full resolution.
This is a temp fix for now, still working on bin and chi override edits
Click on 24mm camera ID 1, then click camera, then click full res 8192x6144.
Yes, I know the module says pizel3xl, repurposed one bc this is just testing
Anyone with tips. info, or help to improve this, chime in. There is definitely a way to switch this on an off, and looking for a way now also.
