Motorola Camera & Gallery on GPE

I was wanting to know if anyone had managed to get the Motorola Camera & Gallery working on the GPE firmware ?
I've tried installing the apk's from the phone internal storage and also restoring backups of them using Titanium Backup,
but i always get errors whenever i go to use them.

Have you tried installing from play store...?

It says "No phones eligible"

In GPE ROM thread I posted this flashable zip

This will copy Camera and Gallery apks with odex files to priv-app where are in Moto G from Motorola
I did not get any feedback if it works or not...
Make backup before flash...
If it will not work, you can try to extract both apk files from zip and place them into system/app folder, and change permissions to rw- r-- r--
If there will be any problems I can post also lib files from my Moto G...

OK i will flash the GPE firmware, then try out what you said.

After the photo has been taken it says "unfortunately camera has stopped" or something along those lines.
I just removed it there with Titanium Backup.

Maybe some lib files are missing

Well I've decided finally that i prefer the Motorola firmware that then GPE firmware,
so i will be moving back to it anyway.

For what reasons?

He misses FM too much!! LOL
Or maybe its the optimisations by Moto ..the ones they talked about in launch and how moto g outperforms a s4 in multiple basic things
They just transferred a Lot of expensive R & D done for moto x to the lill Moto G...and its a good thing so far

Mainly it's just the camera but i also don't like using Hangouts for messaging.
I know i can install the normal one from the Play Store but it doesn't get themed correctly whenever i apply custom themes.
If someone did get the motorola camera working with it then i would probably switch.

I've said to hell with it, and decided to test out CM11 on the Moto G, if i'm not happy with it, then i'll move to the GPE ROM

I'm not going to download a random apk without knowing the source, but it's likely to be either a signing or a framework issue.

Stock Motorola Gallery App

Can anyone upload the apk of the stock gallery app on the Moto G3? It seems that the slow-motion feature is tied to the gallery app and I would like to have that on LineageOS.

Plz help something with something lyk WiFi direct sharing apps stock android does not support on stock android.

Unfortunately Contacts, dialer, gallery and messaging crash on my Nokia 3 TA1020, android 8.0.

How do I grant write permission for the external SD card to the file manager? When I try to edit something in the external SD card, it doesn't works and shows me an error toast.

Any way they can be ported to English
