Anyone have a problem w [email protected] 2010?

I LOVE this appA! Probably my most used, and it unfortunatly hangs on the game overview screen, after a short dimming of the screen. Real bummer for me bc everything else is working great for me on Froyo!

...does anyone have this running successfully on FroYo?? Ive tried pushing into system/app thinking protection was maybe an issue but to no success...any help would be greatly appreciated!

There was another thread on here with ppl that had problems with this same app after froyo was installed. It doesnt even show up in the app store for froyo users. I have an off topic question: does androids mlb at bat app show live video feed of games? I kno the iphone app does. Thanks.

Only works with 2.1 so far, no 2.2 support thusly the darkened screen.

No wonder... I kept thinking MLB at Bat shut my app
off.

just curious...since the MLB app is just for phone access, has anyone tried connecting with their desktop service with flash? Did it work well? I have a hard time justifying purchasing the android app if i dont get comp access as well, especially since it may be possible to have both.

Have not tried myself...

I was experiencing the non-responsive dimmed screen as well. I went into the application info screen under Settings >> Applications >> Manage Applications and cleared data, cleared cache, forced stop, reopened...and it worked like with 2.1.

What do you mean manual download... I've been wanting to download this and I can't find it on the marketplace

Dungeon Defenders

Immediately after getting into a game, the entire app just disappears and I get booted back into the home screen.
Anyone else getting this?

Not the same problem.... I almost got to finish the first game with all its waves, but right at the end it crashed.
Today I re-tried: entered the Tavern, did some poking around, shooting at dummy... and after about 3mins: crash to homescreen...

I am also having random crashes back to homescreen with this game.
1st crash, was right after loading.

2nd crash, played the first mission, partly into the 3rd wave.
Haven't tried it since.
I am confused. This game was available for the Adreno 205 chip in the older phones. The Adreno 220 found in the sensation should be fully backward compatible + new features and speed ups. The CPU should also be compatible, why does it not work?
What is the cause? Bad HTC drivers? CPU? GPU? Bad Sense 3.0 implementation? OS (I don't think google will mess up that bad)
Just to confirm, I did buy this game and downloaded it from the market, so it wasn't sideloaded or anything

It has to be because of Sense 3.0
There's too many other phones with similar hardware that work fine.

Just crashed for me too, is anyone running stock loader etc? As stated erlier it is almost certain to be a sense conflict, but the game will have to be updated before its fixed.

So if you use Launcher Pro or ADW etc the game will work fine?
I gave up and deleted the game and all the data...

Chainfire
I've been getting crashes too but then i tried to ran this app through chainfire with nvidia plugin loaded and now it works. But you will have to go through almost 10min lag when the game is loading which is pretty annoying so i don't think this is some kind of fix. Well I guess we will have to wait for some update :-/

can you guys temme the settings for chainfire 3d and spare parts as it is crashing a lot on mine

I've been trying to run it first with a Sense rom, crashed after the intro.
Now I've tried it on a CM7 Rom and it crashes while in a game in between waves.
A friend of mine is running InsertCoin and he says he's running it without any problems.
I've tried reinstalling it several times thought it might be corrupt data which is downloaded to your SDCard but I don't see any difference.
Hope this problem will get fixed I'm only able to play it it on my PC now.

Samsung Galaxy always becomes slow and laggy

Hey guys
i need some tips or feedbacks. So ive been with the Galaxy since the S3, and each one ends up becoming the same. They are great when i first get them, then within the first 2 months, they pretty much turn into crap. The UI isnt smooth, things take a while to open, apps dont transition to another smoothly, opening texts,, going back and forth between texts and apps arent the best and i constantly get problems to the point i need to do a warranty exchange with tmobile.
Do you guys experience the same or are you phones super fast and fluid? Even with a rooted phone i experience the same. Whenever i test out my friends iphone, everything seems to be super quick and fluid, just not customizable and limited to what you can do
What can i do to improve my phone or this is just how these galaxies are?

I find it's good to reboot every so often, and I also use the built in Smart Manager to Clean All, and I don't experience any lag.
I do run my phone pretty clean though and don't have a million useless Apps which does tend to slow it down.
Reboot and use the smart manager from time to time and you should be good to go. I also find that using Package Disabler, Nova Launcher and Anti virus Apps SLOW DOWN my phone and make it buggy and laggy.
I have now wiped it and left it fully stock and it multi tasks properly and is super quick.

Thanks for your response. i already do all that. I use clean master everyday to clear my phone of cache and boost it so all background running apps are closed. when rooted, i deleted all useless apps and bloatware. i do restart my phone but still, i face these problems. its just frustrating when using an iphone because everything is so fast! i just want to fix up my android to be the same but it always turns to ****. im now facing a problem where outgoing texts stays stuck on sending and doesnt go through so now i have to use a third party messaging app.

Seriously, cleanmaster?? Delete immediately! If you're rooted, why don't you freeze the bloats? Use amplify and greenify combo! Can't believe a rooted user uses cleanmaster
Clearing cache every time is not good and results in stutters as cache is meant to make loading times faster and usually only cleaned if there are signs of corruption!
Your description looks suspicious

lol i didnt know about that for cleanmaster, im new to the whole rooting thing so i didnt know. i already freeze the bloats using titanium backup. also, i had to update my phone because my call quality was all messed up. i updated my phone to baseband version DOJC. upon doing that, my phone is no longer rooted. where are the best places to go to download new files in order to root my phone again. i dont want to use my old files and risk messing up my phone.

So if you're no longer rooted, you can't use titanium backup. No need to root the S6 as you won't be able to update and rooting without using custom roms isn't that great.
Use package disabler pro! It's enough. Put apps to always optimize in battery settings. Use a custom launcher like Apex or Nova. Update everything. Clear cache in storage menu and reboot. You should be good.
Try leaving at least 1GB out of your internal memory free, although its impact is not proved!

no, i meant i used titanium backup when i was rooted. im no longer rooted because i had to update my phone in order to fix some problems i was having. When i was rooted, i used a custom rom, twisted sixx version 3. i want to reroot my phone again, but i want to know if i need to download new files again to root if what i used last time is ok. last time i rooted was in septempber so my files are from that time frame. If not ok, where can i go to get the new files i need to root again? also with your phone, is everything usually fast and fluid or do you come across the problems i mention earlier as well?

Sorry can't help with newer root methods!
I'm completely stock and using package disabler pro and app optimizer. It's not buttery smooth like a Nexus or Motorola, but it still is a fast experience, i.e, rarely any scrolling stutters. Try putting animations to 0.5x or 0/off.

ok cool. i just installed it, looks to be the same like the titanium backup where i can disable freeze all the random apps. any idea why my texts are stuck on sending? dont really want to do a system wipe to see if that fixes it

Np! Try defrosting some packages that as per your guess might be linked to the sms system.
Try sending through a 3rd party app like Google messaging app on play store and see if it works.

yea i am using google messenger now, which works, just odd why the phone isnt. ill play around troubleshooting things and see if anything works. you know where i can find a list of apps to freeze with the disabler app that arent important? if not, all good, i appreciate your time and help, Thanks!

My little tips :
First. Speed up your android device by *not* installing any speed booster app.
2. Android is smart enough to force close background services when more ram is needed. And restart them when ram hungry process (e.g heavy game) ends. Do some research, it's a very very bad idea to manually kill background apps and services. Doing so will just decrease both your performance and battery.
3.Stock Samsung provided applications gives better performance and battery life. They also use ram more efficiently. try using stock launcher,stock keyboard, stock E-mail app, etc.
Also every other launcher that uses vertical scrolling will have lags. (Apex,Action,Nova and even Google Now Launcher)
4. Manually clearing cache is also bad idea. Imagine you put your charger on your desk to quickly access it when needed (cache), then someone puts it back to drawer every time :| (Clearing catche)

Thanks for the tips. i already use stock email, stock interenet stock everything. My battery dies extremely quick with minimal use, as oppose to when i had it rooted, which was significantly better. with minimal use today, its been off the charger for 5 hours and im already at 50%. i also dont force close. i just click that menu button and press close all when nothings being used, or are you saying thats not good to do?

i have mine for 10 months, and i don't regret it at all, i had a galaxy S2 and S4 before and i always said i won't get another samsung because of the lag, but this time i made the right choice...the phone flies through everything, loading apps takes no time, opening apps really fast, the truth is this is the first galaxy that didn't lag after a couple of months, at least not for me, there are sometimes some frame drops, but in general it's really fast, i use stock apps, i restart my phone about every week, the battery isn't that good, 3-4 SOT...so not bad but not that good, because this is a phone you wanna keep using all the time and then suddenly the battery die.....the truth is if i had the money now i would get the NOTE5/ S6 EDGE PLUS...because of the battery and big screen, other than that it's perfect....best screen, camera, the new TW is really good....

yea im like you, after each galaxy, im like this is the last time im getting it, then im like screw it, maybe the new one will be different this time around. They all end up being the same for me :-/

yeah, but this time it's different, the phone is as fast as it was when i bought it....really fast, my old galaxy devices lagged when opening even the dialer, not to mention the gallery, takes 2 seconds to load...now it's instant....

everything for me right now is taking 2 seconds plus horrible battery life. now my texts dont send out using the stock messenger. going to factory reset my phone and root it tonight and see how it goes.
also i just updated my phine and saw theres video calling now. thats only to other phones with s6 correct?

Android 9.0 Pie Now Rolling Out (Update Pulled)

Hey everyone
Very glad to announce that the Android Pie 9.0 Update is now rolling out to Razer Phone 1 devices right now!
I personally want to thank you all for being so patient, I know this was a long time coming but thank you for holding on and sticking with the team.
Now go get your pie update!
PSA: Game Booster is broken.
I'll get this passed on asap but for now just reset game booster
(System settings>game booster> tap the reset icon on the top right hand corner) and don't change any settings for now.
EDIT 2: The update has been temporarily pulled due to the Game Booster issue.
I'll let you all know when the rollout starts again.
EDIT 3: Update is live again folks! However there's an issue with the do not disturb function if you have it on its making the camera force close.
It's been reported and hopefully we'll see a fix soon.

When I try launch game there is black screen, I can hear the sounds and play but the screen is black....

I just got the update. not happy at all. Don't like the new UI but even worse games don't work. Black screen and also the camera app crashes every time i try to open it. Doing a factory reset hasn't helped either.

Mine updated first thing this morning. Dont mind the new UI and not had issues with the camera (Google Apk or the Razer camera) but like you no games.
I did as some mentioned above and reset Game Booster and didnt touch the settings on it also put Cortex on as well. All my games work now but theyre all set to what ever Booster defaults are.
The only other thing ive noticed is i now get 4G+ which i didnt before.

Everything was working apart from games when i first did the update. Thought something might have messed up so i did a master reset on my phone. Everything still works even games with the booster reset tweak. Put the google camera apk on as well as better options than the stock Razer camere app and thats fine too.
(Update - just resetting Booster worked for a while then the games stopped displaying again so ive disabled Booster now and everything is working as it should be)

Don't suppose anyone has the update backed up for us poor people who missed it

Most things seem to work, do not have a simcard in it to test with.
Only problem so far:
Razer Camera app & Gcam FC.
Open Camera works with back lens, FC when switching to front lens.
Clearing app data does not help.
Reinstalling Gcam does not help.
Razer Camera cannot be uninstalled.

Left it alone for awhile, and all the camera apps started working.

I hope some enlightened dev can pull the useful bits from this update (if it is working) and use that to fix the quirks on phh's Pie treble build. I never got the camera working with it (I can live with the BT bug)

this build of camera work fine for me MGC_6.1.021_RP1_V1.3.2-BSG. it is in the forum (don't know the exact address). The only con I have with the pie is that the battery drains fast (6% in 8 hours standby) or it might be my phone which needs a battery change.

Mario Kart Tour

I don't know about you but I've been a big Mario fan ever since I was little kid and and I was thrilled for the release of this game . So after waiting so long for the release I quickly installed the game and was greeted with the tutorial screen and from there constant force closes and crashes anyone having the same issues ?

Yep same problem. im still on latest beta.. was going to try again on stable.

If you are rooted, you need to add the game to Magisk Hide.

Mario Kart Tour, Was Released Today. Any Mario Kart Fans out there? I have to say so far, I'm finding it to be Fun.
there are in-app purchases but so far i haven't had the need to buy any stuff. Granted I'm still starting Lv 3 but so far match ups are quick.
Every game session is about 3 minutes so is a good pick up game. I'm running Android 10 phone doesn't get hot.

If you are using magisk, then hide Mario with magisk hide.

I had this exact same issue too, clicked to hide it in Magisk, rebooted and it's been working fine since then

Same, It works on the hide it.

I know its not the 6t, but what's the best tablet with root support and good ROM development. It does NOT have to have T-Mobile capability but would like TMobile sim support. I have issues with someone emulators on my 6t so looking to play in tablets

It even shows you your friend code.

I have 6T on latest Open Beta 17, having the same issue, I can open the app actually, but after Nintendo account login and press Agree, it shows error 806-9021.
Rooted with Magisk 19.5-debd1d7d(19403), tried to put in Magisk Hide, not working.

There is no multiplayer yet. All of the "players" in the races just use the account names of other created accounts
