We are very excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Quartz, based on Android 10.
On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.
Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

If I'm currently on OOS 10 Stable, rooted with TWRP and magisk installed, what would be the recommended flashing instructions?

Awesome!! I really want to try this one but SafetyNet is a must for me
I'll be ready once safetynet is ok

Just need to know what build I read to be on to flash this room is it ok to be on the open beta 2 to be able to flash this room?

I must say, this is a VERY solid ROM! Everything works great from the get go. No data or Bluetooth issues, no FCs, and Magisk 19.4 and TB worked like a charm. I think I'm going to stick with Paranoid Android for the time being ?

/* FAQ */
Q : Is this suitable for a daily driver?
A : Yes
Q : Which recovery should I use?
A : My Official TWRP builds or TWRP builds i provided will work.
TWRP - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3358552
Q : Which Gapps should I use?
A : OpenGapps is recommended. Select ARM64 + Android 6.0.
http://opengapps.org/
Q: Can i just install twrp on project spectrum instead of switch back to coloros before flashing the ROM?
A: Unfortunately No. Because Oppo changed too much in Project Spectrum. The TWRP does not work for Project Spectrum.
I might build TWRP that is working for Project Spectrum one day. That is... if Project Spectrum ever gets a stable release. Its still full of bugs. It would be wasted time...

Believe me when i tell you, once you install my CyanogenMod build you don't want to go back to buggy Project Spectrum or ColorOS with its bloated apps that even prevent most basic features like notifications.
yeah...waited for a long time for your build
so thats mean i need to convert back to coloros and follow the guide you had given?

yes just follow the PDF Guide in the Link in the TWRP Thread, step by step and you will be good to go.
i did it countless times when porting and testing CyanogenMod.
you can also create a full TWRP backup once you have finished the guide and go back to restore that backup using TWRP whenever you wish to return to ColorOS
ok... now I m downloading the coloros stock ROM... I ll try install CM tomorrow
anyway...thx for your hard work...really appreciate

if on PS the fastboot commands to flash TWRP will be returned as "unknown command. dt not found".
if you happen to find out that the latest Project Spectrum works by flashing the TWRP.
please feel free to write up a short guide for everyone.
i have not tested a "route" using the latest Project Spectrum roms.
my time was spend getting everything to work for CyanogenMod

it should work flawless on every r7s.
i test every of my builds before i release it. should you find something that is not working. let me know!
my custom build NAS box, which i use for compiling. is already compiling the next build.
every build takes about 16 hours of compiling but it's running 24/7 anyway

I think the missing individual sim toggle on\off may be a CM 13 issue after doing a bit of research , I'll keep searching the settings as it's not in the sim card settings menu

FAQ
FAQ and Known Issues.
->ROM is based on?
Roms is Based was AOSP-CAF now its fully rebased to pure CAF with few lineage elements.
->OTA Support?
Not yet.
->Can I dirty flash over previous builds?
Yes but you may face some issues.
->Is it Pre-rooted?
NO.
->Does this ROM Support Substratum/CMTE?
Yes, full substratum support!
-Which Gapps are recommended?
OpenGapps or
DynamicGapps
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
No.
-What about XPOSED?
XPOSED For N is not out yet. Still in Development. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have xposed uninstalled.
->When Will Be the Next Update?
No ETAs please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready.
->I am facing FCs, Bugs,Some feature is broken?
Provide Full info About your problem with logcats and the procedure to reproduce it.
->How to take Logcats?
https://goo.gl/UcTM9
->Selinux Linux mode changer app is not working nor Busy Box installer app is working.
Nothing related to our ROM, but it must work for most of the users it worked fine.
->I want to contribute To the Development of this ROM?
Join our slack community: Message me .
Join me at telegram : TG ID : mindfreeze
3. F2FS-compatible?
- It should work, but I don’t give support for any strange issues caused by it.
4. Changelogs?
- Please check my commits on Github or the changelogs section in Settings->About Phone.
5. What is EAS?
- https://developer.arm.com/open-sourc...are-scheduling
6. Feature requests?
- Please bring feature requests to the VertexOS Slack group. I would appreciate it if you send me commits for genuinely meaningful additions, bug fixes, and optimizations. I prefer features that can be implemented without needing a toggle. Please take note that I don't want to pack this ROM with a ton of features. There are many feature-rich ROMs out there already.
7. Passes SafetyNet?
- Yes. If you want root, use Magisk and enable Magisk Hide. SafetyNet failures may also occur because ADB is enabled.
8. Custom toolchains?
- I build Zenith kernel with Linaro TC 6.3.1.
9. Does VertexOS work with other GApps, TWRPs, firmwares, SU, kernels, tweaks, Viper4Android, etc?
- Please feel free to try, but I may not give support for issues caused.
10. Deep sleep issues?
- Reboot or clean flash.
11. Mobile network issues?
- Toggle airplane mode to see if it fixes the problem. Please check your APN and Preferred Network Type in Mobile Network Settings. If your APN is missing, please share the APN you want me to add.
12. Google Camera / OP3T front camera doesn't work?
- You'll need HAL3 enabled. VertexOS has HAL1 enabled by default. To enable HAL3 please flash the HAL3 Enabler. This may also fix front camera issues for OP3T. Be warned that you will lose OnePlus Camera functionality when you go HAL3.
13. Trustzone or Assert failed error 7?
You're using an incompatible firmware.
14. Why is the security patch in "About phone" outdated?
This ROM tracks CAF, which lags behind AOSP by a bit. However, you shouldn't be worried about this because CAF brings in the latest security commits even when the stated security patch level in "About phone" is outdated. Trust me, I've compared the commits of our CAF tag with the latest AOSP branch commits, and also with the Android Security Bulletin. Please just wait patiently for CAF to update the security patch string. I can easily change it and 'cheat' you guys, but I'm never going to do such a thing. So please be patient and know that your device has the security patches.
15. Creating unofficial builds of VertexOS
I have no qualms with it. If your builds are public, please do the following:
* Share proper links to the sources you used
* Provide clear credits to me
* Do NOT ask for donations
If you want to port and maintain VertexOS for another device in the longer term, send me a PM and we can discuss more.
16. Facing odd drains and issues with apps (message notifications not showing)?
* Stop restoring them with Titanium Backup
* Stop using hacky tweaks
17. Google Play Services drains?
* Clean flash
* Stop restoring everything with Titanium Backup
18. Losing Magisk root?
* Don't enable the BusyBox option
WHATS WORKING ??
ALL WORKING FINE.
Bugs.
If you encounter a bug please report with proper LOGCAT

I have some bugs to report. If fixable please fix-
1) Your internal system has some problem bug(bug already mention in OP)
2) Pie gestures are buggy and it says swipe on left or right which can be confused with miui gestures instead of op gestures.
3) If gestures are enabled, it doesnt automatically hide navbar. Navbar appears over the gestures after a while(cant see the back button on navbar after this reappearance)
4) Face unlock doesnt work(with c2api)so cant check auto face unlock feature
5)Fingerprint authentication vibration option should not be in navigation options. Also the option turns itself off when you go back to the settings page
6) Slide on navbar to control brightness doesnt work. It doesnt have any effect till halfway and after that the screen just dims itself even further
7) When clock is shifted to the right, it leaves a disturbing space between the first notification icon and the left end of the screen
8) Camera2Api works fine. miui cam crashes when c2api is enabled(mentioned already in OP)
9) No playstore downloading notification
Rest everything works well and ROM is smooth. I'll be looking forward to the upcoming updates.

Also, Facebook app doesn't load images after a while... This problem i found on ArrowOs, Aoscp, and CrDroid 5. Does anyone think what the cause may be?

Found a similar issue with Tumblr not loading images after scrolling a few pages, in a lot of these Roms that you mentioned

I can't find the source of the problem. I switch to mcaosp that doesn't have it.
I usually switch back to a GSI rom lile Benzo or PE and they are all fine

I had a similar issue while restoring backup on WeChat with crDroid and Nitrogen (backup is done via WiFi and it suddenly stops and crashes after some seconds like if there was a signal cut), but ArrowOS is working fine for me.

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Android Lollipop, the ROM has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and then changed to be based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
We changed again for Android Q with a base of AOSP repositories and some additions from LineageOS for device specific repositories.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out, if it concerns our code base. This ROM isn't LineageOS supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Hard & a lot.
*

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels officially?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP. Custom ROMs modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROMs. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. Information about Xposed, EdXposed or Riru Core can be obtained from the XPosed General forums .
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the flashing instructions...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, this is the usual behaviour on flashing a new official build by (or using) the build-in updater service.
Q. How do I 'dirty flash' builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot" as the destination, then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash and reboot afterwards.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A. Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat AND the model name. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.)
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the others section in the AICP Extras main page.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Q. You don't need to install any Add-ons, simply download the latest ROM and GApps, then follow the flashing instructions and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, and Data (you might need to format the data partition!).
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work), GApps are already included for some a/b devices.
6. Reboot and set up your device, enable developer settings and in them OEM unlock/Advanced reboot/USB tethering.
7. Reboot back into TWRP recovery.
8. Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
9. Reboot your device.
The procedure may vary from device to device and is a bit different on system updates!
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once! This might differ on AvB Devices.
Currently supported Root Solution:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions >= 20.3 don't usually need to be flashed on every dirty flash.
Depending on the device, you may need to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise, you should be fine.

it can be customised via certain apps which supports them like whatsapp and telegram and others which supports, else there is only option to customize battery led notification atm.
Sometimes I'm getting trouble with laggy yt playback. When this is happening, I also do not have any sound from phone's speaker. Restarting helps, but is there a chance that it will be fixed?

Hey, I've done what You suggested. We will see, how this will work. First good sign - after flashing with new kernel, I was able to push titanium backup and lucky patcher via properly connected adb (wasn't able to do so on stock kernel in aicp q15, not sure why), while I wasn't able to install it normally via system, despite having all safety ticks turned off.
