->The updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-How do I root this ROM?
->We recommend Magisk
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps and BitGappps
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in the beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with the latest security patches and new features.
-Adaway is not working

Yes migration working fine, you can restore your stuffs from google cloud and about custom kernel thats totally up to you but you won't get any support from me if you get any issues

Clean flash is always recommended but you can dirty flash for upcoming updates, and then if you feel any unnecessary issues then you need clean flash again.

This ROM is great . I tested both version . with and without gapps but I saw with gapps have miui camera . but without gapps version haven't can you give me miui camera patch or install zip file for your ROM ?
And FM radio will crash when opening

Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. Clean Flashed. How much time does it take for the first boot? 30 mins or more than that? I think it got stuck in boot loop.

Tez Is not working. Rest battery life, performance is great. Smart Pixels option works Great.. Although it makes screen green battery life has increased drastically

i like Google Dialer and massages more than aosp Dialer and massages app.fist I install aex rom with gapps rom was great...but updater notification was showing thare is a update but that was without gapps can make a simple change that it will only check for aex with gapps only...
now I'm using without gapps version... it was great too... thanks for your hard work

Yes I got that update notifications too, I will fix it soon don't worry. For now no need to download anything via the OTA app.

Is the new update bugged on the camera? It works the other apps, but the native one does not. The radio signal is also strange. My SIM Card 2 is disabled, but shows the status as if it was activated (but no network).

I don't see any issues with the default camera(miui camera), could u provide logs? And also the radio signal issue will be fixed in next update, fix is already up in aex Gerrit.

First of all - thanks to TC for preparation of this ROM.
I have tried AospExtended-v7.0-violet-20200202-1301-UNOFFICIAL and found some bugs:
- The music player. When I tried to play .ogg-file, the player interface started flickering and did not make a sound. Then I tried .mp3-file - no flickering but still no sound.
- In the Settings - Sound - Phone Ringtone all melodies shown as some kind of URL.
- Icons for SMS, Clock and some other apps are just Android head. Actually you can see it on the third screenshot in the post above.
I did not check much deeper. At first glance the ROM is fast and smooth. With a good set of tweaks. I personally would prefer more, but I did not see AOSP 10 ROM with significantly more tweaks.
These are not critical bugs. I hope maintainer will make perfect ROM in near future.

Does this still apply? I'm planning to buy a Note 7 Pro and install AOSPExtended. It's designed for a regular PC user without much IT knowledge. So OTA-Updates would be required for my use-case.
I'm also wondering if you're not providing vanilla builds any more? The download page on aospextended.com shows AospExtended-v7.1-violet-20200412-2106-OFFICIAL.zip (Gaps included) from april, where AospExtended-v7.0-violet-20200209-1849-OFFICIAL.zip (vanilla without Gaps) is from februar.

Does this support signature spoofing? Can I use microG with this ROM?

One small complaint if it can be addressed: can you add the option to move the time in the Status Bar to the right? I like to keep the left side for app notifications.

Hey hi, I don't know about other version but Redmi note pro after installing AospX Rom I am not able to play any video on my phone, I can't play videos on Youtube and in other websites , by tracking this issue I find HW decoder is not working as in Mx player test! please resolve this issue!

its not bad. i dont use my 5x as a phone anymore but i do use it for browsing various things. i havent had any issues other than some lag when opening slide for reddit. any chance of adding exfat support?

The version provided on this thread is (for now) very unstable. I recommend using Svlog's version ( https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261820472 ).
For your question about ExFAT support, I am not part of the development team so I can't add functionalities, sorry.

Have you tried any version of Google Camera 5.1.XXX on this ROM or are you asking users of this ROM? 5X comes with Google Camera 5.1.XXX on Stock Android 8. I'm sure you can find one version of it in Apkmirror.
Aosp doesn't have any camera installed by default. This comes when installing gapps, depending on which one your install.
If you haven't already tested it, I would actually be interested to know if anyone using this AOSP has managed to installed any version of Google Camera.

We actually extracted the original last version of the gcam app in stock os. But it crashes on android 10. That version of gcam is optimize for bullhead and takes better pictures than any other gcam mod

It takes better picture if you remember the cam quality of our stock os. It is not a modded version so it doesn't work properly on android 10. Only on 8.1

Cool, thanks for your refforts. I actually ported AEX 10 to the OP3(T) for my own use in July, and had to adapt some existing device tree (I used nitrogenOS kernel and device tree as a base). What tree did you use?
Another question, do you know if Shelter/Island work with it? It was crashing on my build.

I was going to ask you if call recording could be implemented when I read this in the TG group:
So guys, as you might have guessed it, we are taking a break for some time. Don't worry, we are not leaving android development as such.
Instead, we will be working on AEX but this time we'll try to be a little different than we were. We don't get a lot of time these days, so we will try to make the process much easier and seamless. We can't promise when we will be back or what exact time we will take but as soon as we are done, we will be back. It's not a hiatus but a tiny little break to find the right path once again. We hope for the best and we request you guys to trust us on this.
Maintainers can still push builds if they want with the present sources. Our website, blog and the download portal will be up all the time.
Also, we aren't accepting any maintainership submissions at the moment.
These are crazy times to live in, but we hope you are safe!
Please refrain from asking ETAs. We need your support and love . Thanks to the Android community once again.

OP seems outdated will be updated.
No need of clean flash after every update dirty can also go.

OK so you are going to include new monthly security patches, fix bugs (if any) without the help of the official team?
Sorry for all these questions but I wouldn't like to have to change my ROM again in one month

AEX 7.3 was the last update for Android 10.
