Hi,
I need to record my call, even in bluetooth (headset). It seems, this is possible only by rooting the phone. Which phone is the easiest to root between OnePlus and Xiaomi one ?
Thanks for your help,

All OnePlus phones are extremly easy to root. Just unlock the bootloader, flash twrp and then flash magisk. Should be the same for Xiaomi devices.
i guess the oneplus 6, easier to unlock the bootloader, to install twrp and then flash magisk, it take you 3minutes, and there is a method if you search that doesn t even need to unlock the bootloader i think. In the other hand you have xiaomi phones, to unlock their bootloader you need to contact xiaomi and give them a good reason why would you do such a horrible thing as unlocking the bootloader and then wait to receive the code to unlock

I have both. I personally think the OP6 is the better device. Rooting is very easy and all it takes is a magisk module to enable. Plus if you're in the US, you'll get a warranty with OP6.
Hello someone from the states gift me a Honor 6x with Emui 5.x and this might sound dumb but every thread i found it says in need an UNLOCK CODE to root and install twrp and i just cant manage to find a way to get it and i really would like to root this phone so i can install a custom rom etc, is there any way in 2020 to unlock this device with any possible method?

With Locked bootloader? Certainly not. Unlocking and then re-locking again is not difficult/will not break warranty, downgrading however does break Warranty if they found out.
If you decide to go with unlock/relock process, All you need to start is to look here: Poco X3/NFC index.
Before you begin though, first Connect your phone in fastboot mode and use:
Code:
fastboot getvar anti
to check Anti Rollback counter. The output should be 2.
If it is less than 2, then unfortunately you cannot downgrade to Official MIUI A10 safely. (There
are methods, but they cost money and/or carry a high risk of bricking)
My advice is to unlock your bootloader and flash a Custom ROM. MIUI A11 is not made for the Snapdragon 732G Chipset that comes with your device, it is full of bloatware and stuters at every corner. In comparison to the custom ROMs here on xda, which are very smooth last and longer in battery life. Most important of all, a lot of them pass Safetynet/are google play certified out-of-the-box.

had the same problem. Flashed MIUI 12 EU instead. problems solved/
Yes you can via advanced update on the phone you just have to rename the update, there's a tutorial hit me up if you're interested..
Please help me out with the tutorial where i can downgrade my poco x3 nfc to miui eu
Now magisk is much complicated for me now days and I don't want to root my phone
I have indian version poco X3 pro I flashed eu rom but saftynet failed. so can I lock bootloader with eu rom and this will fix saftynet failed issue fixed .
I don't want to root my phone and magisk method is looking complicated now days so that option is not my choice so plz help me with that
Locking the bootloader means phone gets forced to boot into ROM what was pre-installed.
I think eu rom should have resolved the safetynet, you should ask in the eu rom forums.
From my limitted knowledge, if you re-lock you must only flash the same ROM that your phone was sold with, or you'll have a brick...
Unless I'm mistaken, once re-locked even EDL will not be available, so it would be hard brick.
Don't do that unless you know exactly what you're doing.
Try at your own risk though, I heard new xiaomi devices don't allow people to lock their phone, even if you want to the fastboot will simply not let you do it. On slightly older xiaomi device, it does let you lock the phone but good chance that you are stuck with that rom because you can't unlock it.

Not sure if it's possible to re-lock the Bootloader without loosing all data.
As more and more apps stopped working with some 'security warning' and finding it more and more difficult to run certain banking and other applications I decided to 'unroot' my Poco F2 Pro.
But, too bad, some Apps still complain about 'security issues' or explicitly about the unlocked bootloader - but now there is no MAGISK Hide or similar to 'cheat the system'
But, even worse, according to many posts in various forums locking the BL will erase all data.
Any idea if it's possible?
Thanks!

Unroot the phone before flashing rom.
Phone is unrooted and updated with latest Stock, so I want to re-lock the BL.
As too many apps fail working with Magisk installed, and it's a constant search for work-arounds, I decided to stay unrooted. But many apps still fail because of the unlocked BL

You can flash without losing data(use update scrip in the zip rom or twrp) and have a working phone(certified) without locking the bootloader and these roms are better than stock(choice between android 11 or 12).
Got it! Thanks!

No it's not possible to re-lock the bootloader without losing your data.
Installing a Xiaomi.eu ROM will still have things complain about an unlocked bootloader, so isn't much of a solution.
try use latest Magisk (24.3) activate zygisk and set deny list all apps that cause problem..
plus install module safetynet-fix 2.2.1 ..
