I've got 2 strange issues suddenly.
When I have a folder in mx player that I'm watching, and all videos have been watched, mx player used to go back to video list. Now it closes the whole program.
Also when I close mx player mid video, and reopen it, normally it would open the video where I left it, now it opens the video folder.
I tried resetting the standard settings, but that did not solve

When I open a video from File Manager, it doesn't resume. Ie, it always start it at the beginning. I tried different video players like MoboPlayer, BSPlayer Lite, RockPlayer, etc, but I always get the same result. Only the build-in video player can resume; however, it supports very limited video type (eg no .avi)
If I open the same video from these players, video always starts from previous point (ie, it does resume).
So, is it possible to set it to resume video when the file is opened in a File Manager (either by Android's settings generally or the specific video player)

Have you tried MX video player? I use it on both my transformer, and my inspire 4g, and I've never had an issue with it not resuming a video, that I can recall. Also, it has gesture controls for volume, brightness, and seek.
Go with mxvideoplayer. It's the best one out there right now, until vlc finishes at least.

Anyone know of a good video player?? I have been looking for one but can't find one I like. I just need it to play videos in my library that's it. I have MX Player and I like it but only problem is when I click a video I want to watch when it's done playing that video it will skip to the next one. If I could find a way to disable that I would be happy. Any ideas will help! Thank you
You haven't looked thru the settings of MX player have you... Open MX player and go to settings>Player>Playback complete action
I saw the previous post for 9 months ago on this but I still have the identical problem with using Playon as a media server and using MX Player. Here it is:
If I try to play the file through the Playon App and select MX Player for video it say "Can't play video"
If I first select the stock video player app, let it play for a few seconds then back out and try the MX Player directly it plays fine . . .

I have downloaded YouTube videos to my LG G4 from PC's "4K Video Downloader". It's an amazing YouTube video downloader. I watch on my phone gallery, But just last month, not sure if the MX player update has messed up that transcribed.srt subtitles not showing on MX Player but the Closed Captions (CC) works well on MX Player. Strangely, VLC player auto detects the subtitles, transcribed.srt as well as CC. Please fix this bug. On my laptop, the media player auto detects either both SRTs without having to search them.
The another frustrating thing is when playing video: Subtitle/Open , select as per the video title.
In the last 3 updates of mx player, videos are opened in pop up mode and mx pop up is selected by default. Although I choose mx player every time I open a video, when I close the video and open it again, the pop up mode opens, but when I turn off the window permission in the window, I can open it full screen. mx player is embedded on my device, I returned to the factory version. Factory version does not have this problem. My device is Vestel Venus v6.
So? Run the factory load.
