Can't remove At&t links from start menu

Samsung Blackjack
AT&T/Cingular
Just updated the firmware
I am trying to remove links from my start menu for useless util's such as AT&T Mall, AT&T Music and Media net.
I've tried to remove them from the device directly by deleting the files from \Windows\Start Menu\*folder or file name* as well as connecting the device via Active Sync and deleting the same folder\file location through Active Sync file browsing.
When I try to delete the files, I recieve the following error:
"Cannot delete file ****: Access is denied. Make sure your mobile device has sufficient memory, that the file is not set as read-only, and that you have permissions to copy this file type."
I have verified that on applications such as Garmin Navigator and Good Messaging (app's I installed after the firmware upgrade) and I am able to delete, or modify their start menu shortcuts located in \windows\Start Menu folder. This leads me to belive that the issue is not related to sufficient memory, or permissions.
I have found articles by google'ing and they state it is possible to delete these specific files but they won't delete on mine. I tried rebooting several times (some articles noted that rebooting would majically allow deletion of files). No luck.
PLEASE HELP.

Using resco explorer I have hidden files that were in the ROM. Download teh trial and see if that works for you.
Figured it out...
This unlock:

Allowed me to rename and delete the ROM based shortcuts.

Help deleting file

I cant figure out how to delete MrIncredibles dialer. I was able to delete the cab, but cant delete the rest
Also, I cant delete everything from QuickMenu, when I push my Start button, it tells me that QuickMenu cant be launced(because I have deleted some of the files, jsut cant find the rest)
OK Two things...
One: If it was cooked into the ROM it usually cannot be uninstalled well.
Two: Start -> Settings -> System -> Remove Programs. Find it on the List and Click Remove.
Thanks for the response!!
I'm not using a cooked rom, I did remove the dialer from "remove programs". I dont know why I didnt do that already .
As for QuickMenu, it isnt in "remove programs" anymore, because I removed it from there a day or 2 earlier. It still left something behind though, becuase it is preventing me from using my original Windows Start menu.
I copied "naviPanel.exe" from Windows folder to Start Menu/Programs folder.
\Now, i want to delete this copied .exe file from the start menu folder.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks

Why are my chrome downloads going...

here:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.google.android.apps.docs/cache/projector/
I'm accustomed to accessing my downloads in the general download folder. Is this possible with this phone?
Did you give storage access to chrome? If so it should go to downloads, mine are, your path says its being stored in the apps cache directory.

Question Change download location

When I download from Chrome files go u Der download folder, but when I download from Google or better from a page opened in web view, files go in android/data/com.googlequicksearch/files/download
How do I change that?
You have something broken. I use Bromite and I see a path similar to yours, but ultimately the file is placed in /storage/emulated/0/Download
And how do I fix it?
